The little lioness wasn't doing anything important nor was she sneaking away from her family practicing her hiding techniques. Not that she was going to become a ghost or anything she was still quite unsure what she would be doing when older. A lot of things applied to her and it was hard to figure out her calling though this could also be summed up from her still just being a cub.
Smiling the little lioness began to play by herself as she began to hum to the beat of her own music. She pranced around no longer really hiding. She giggled as she kept walking before she tripped over a hidden root branch she giggled out like it had tickled her as she stood and pressed on to her own rhythm.
She moved over to a large leaf as she braced her paws on the plant before taking the tip of the leaf with her teeth as she pulled on it gentle the sap from the tree above began to seep into her mouth. She pulled away licking her maw clean before her chest fur a little.
All the while not noticing the spider that was very upset for her destroying its home by a flick of her tail. It sneak up before biting her back thigh. She didn't notice it at first till she stood and her leg began to go a bit numb and the pain began to go through her like wild fire.
She let out a painful yell hoping someone was near her that could help. Tears began to whelp in her eyes as she panted heavily struggling to move back to the pride to try and get some help.

"Mmmm?"
Shalkan had been out wandering aimlessly. Not quite looking for herbs to stash away, but not quite doing nothing, either. It had been the start to a leisurely day, but with the sound of an upset cry it was not going to stay that way for the remainder of it.
Following the cries, he felt the nips of brush and trees protesting against his quick movements. For a moment he was wondering if they were indeed the cries of a cub, but he quickly stumbled across the poor child.
"My, what do we have here?" he said, lowering himself closer to the child. "Don't worry, little one, Shalkan is here to help you," he said with a nod, feeling foolish but not wanting to startle the child. He hadn't seen her around himself, but he recognize her pelt and figured she was a child of one of the pride's adults.
"Hold still, that'll help me out if you can," he soothed.

She gave the male a small little nod with a added whine as she closed her mouth so that she wouldn't yell out anymore. She then looked to the male a moment he could help? How? She thought as far as she knew she didn't understand what was going on. Her large light blue eyes locked onto him watching him closely.
What...what was he doing she thought as she watched him beginning to heal her. She waited as soon her leg began to feel better then there was no pain at all she let out a pleased sigh as he tail flicked about letting the other know she was indeed getting better. She closed her eyes relaxing a moment before opening them once more.
"Th...thank you." She finally said as she moved to rest on her belly instead of her side but she still resting noting feeling well enough to move yet. She looked to the males pouch around his neck curiously she had noticed him messing with it when he was healing her.
"What...did you do?"

He breathed a sigh of relief when she responded so quickly to the healing. It wasn't the biggest injury he had treated, not by far, but the smaller body of a cub's was one to be careful with, as things would spread much quicker than in an adult.
"I'm glad you're feeling better," he said softly as he put the remnants of what he pulled out away in his pouch, even if it was a bit awkwardly. He would probably never be able to work with it properly, but it was an immense help for just this sort of occasion.
"I'm a healer," he replied to her question with a smile. "A Shaman. I just used some of what we have growing around us to help you out a little. You seem much better, just a little tired, perhaps?"

The little female looked to the male giving a small nod in her reply as she moved to stand finally on her own four paws but was a bit wobbly as she leaned into his side for support. "I...uhh...Guess I shouldn't wander off by myself now." She said softly with a small giggle before looking back to the pride.
"Would you help me to the water I'm awfully thirsty." She asked politely as her big silver eyes trying to work what little charm she had to get what she needed she knew it didn't work with everyone she knew but she could try atleast.
She then looked around curiously trying to find the spider that bite her so should could stay way from it only to get a bit dizzy fall to the ground. She began to giggled softly starting to feel really good as the images around her began to look strange as then began to move but she knew better that it just any illusion.
"What-" She said having to pause for a few giggles. "What did you give me again?"

He resisted the urge to pick her up by the neck and carry her to the water. It wasn't his child, and somehow that felt like something only a parent should do. Instead, he lowered his head to nudge her along, using his forepaws to help guide the child. Thankfully they weren't too far from a water source, and was able to get her a drink. Probably a good thing, as water was the most important thing in the body.
"I hope you're okay," he commented, giving her a little nudge. He worried that perhaps he gave her a little too much medicine. He was going to have to keep an eye on her for a moment.
"Just a little salve, some plants mashed together. I hope I didn't give you a little too much..." his brows furrowed as he watched her. Obviously he still had much to learn, and was troubled.

Nodding softly she listened to his words letting them slowly seep into her learning about this odd thing that had saved her young life. She blinked a moment staring at the water before she moved forward slowly leaning do to drink. Though she drank to much to quickly and made her stomach ache.
She whined as she rested on her side panting. "I thought water was suppose to me good for you." She huffed as if its the water fault that made her feel so nauseated. Closing her eyes for some much needed relax time the little lioness began to wounder why the male had saved her.
She opened her mouth to speak only to close it quickly feeling another rush of nausea hit her like a tidal wave. She took slow easy breath finally moved to stand once more her large curious eyes fixed on him.
"So what's your name? Why are you doing out here? Are you all alone? Do you have brother and sister? Do they not like to play with you too? What's your favorite thing to eat? Why did that stuff taste so yucky?" the flood of question just kept pouring out till she finally realized she was speaking so quickly he probably couldn't understand. She let out a small squeak composed her self to look like a fine little lately as she took a deep breath before bowing her head.
"I'm sorry you don't have to answer all the questions Poppa always said I have a big mouth and its gonna get me in trouble."

Shalkan was tidying up his things, though there wasn't much to do, he felt it was best to not make too much of a mess. He worried a little when she drank a little fast, and watched her carefully as he relaxed and lied on the ground. For now, before he could get her back to her parents he'd have to keep an eye on her to make sure that she'd be fine, if feeling a little gross for a bit.
"My name's Shalkan," he replied patiently. "I'm a Shaman here." He avoided the question of being alone, because he felt like it wasn't something to explain to her. However, he could answer some of the other questions, if he had indeed heard them right.
"I have no siblings, no, but at least I have a home here with you and your family," as certainly this was a pride that did not allow strangers to just walk right in. "And what you had tastes gross, because it works better that way," he said with a chuckle.
