Story:

Dreams paint pictures across the land as the song of storm and fire can be heard raging across the land of Moebius. It seemed innocent at first till the song grew stronger than the song of the people. The goddess Yume, goddess Kaze, god Aerial, and the god Amrita seemed to be the ones singing this song due to the fact they were mourning one of their own, but this tale has only now been heard.

Moebius once heard songs from the people ranging from songs of hatred to songs of beauty and love. The five deities, Yume, Kaze, Aeriel, Amrita, and Blaze all seemed to rule in peace for the land none clashing when they needed to step in. Blaze was the strongest force of all five gods. He was rumored to be the god of Battle. The one god that when wars or battles begin would be there to watch, and sometimes even lending his aid to one side if he sees an unfair advantage from one side. This was his chosen life and destiny the gods believed for a great time, they never believed that the people would eventually do something so foolish as to kill one of the gods over wanting power.

Yume was the goddess of beauty and love, she seemed to be the opposite power to her sister Kaze and that of Blaze. She had the personality of a child, but often would change to adult when she needed to. Her guidance to the people was the affairs of the heart. Her addictions were this and only this. She sometimes even helped heal the hearts of those that had been broken so that they would not hurt for long. Even though her skill laid in this, she could not help but wondered in the foolishness of the mortals that got their hearts hurt in the first place. This always left her puzzled and bewildered as she never knew the reason, even after hearing a partially good explanation from Blaze.

Kaze was like what her name meant. She was like the wind, her main powers being like that of elements themselves, but her powers were halved with that of Aerial. She only controlled wind and earth at her every whim. She could shape or move both to her wishes no matter how she felt towards the mortals. Sometimes she would even get angry at them and cause destruction upon them, causing to the people and the land much destruction and death. Yume and Amrita were usually the ones to calm her while Blaze only watched in awe at her actions almost asking her one time she did this if Blaze could hold her hand. Kaze blushed when this happened wondering if Blaze wished to be coupled with her.

Aerial was brother to Amrita and Blaze, his powers were that of water and fire. He could create storms or stilled calm, let alone booming fires from the earth or a gentle light. He was nothing his siblings, but instead almost like Yume in some respects. He did not take pleasure in hurting anyone, but would be like Kaze when he saw how the people were behaving. Aerial however learned that Yume’s visions for the people’s lives was not wrong either. He only wished that Blaze would look further into what Yume tried to do rather than destroy what she did.

Amrita was the god of souls. He had the power to pass judgment on the spirits in living or dead bodies. A person could be alive and he could kill them where they stood just by placing a judgment upon their soul, or he could pass a judgment upon a dead body’s soul and grant a family’s wish. He often would be the one to clean up Blaze’s mess when he would actually cause battles or Kaze got angry, or Aerial actually made a decision to create storms. He found no pleasure in his namesake as a god, but would do it for the sake of the people. He knew if he did not that they would forever be trapped upon Moebius and never be reborn or simply ascend or descend to their proper places.

Blaze, the final deity of the land was the god of battle and death. He is the deity that Yume, Kaze, Aerial, and Amrita would mourn the death of because of the mortals finding a way to destroy Blaze just by his getting involved sometimes in their battles. They had found a way to trap him on Moebius’ surface so as to plant a deadly thrust into his heart. This was how they killed the very god that Amrita despised the most cleaning up after. It wasn’t small thing, but a thing that left a sour taste in all of the deities’ mouth. They now feared the worst for their own fates but soon found the mortals only wanted Blaze dead and this made them mourn and become even sadder.

These are the five deities of Moebius. The ones that were born to protect or harm the world, yet one was killed over his power leaving the other four to mourn and rule the land. The ones that killed Blaze remained nameless, but it was eventually found out to be a radical family known as Realta. They would be the ones that would be hunted down or found. Yet, only one from this family did not participate in the senseless fighting and spoke against it. Her name was Lorelei. A strange young woman to the Realta clan, yet powerful all the same like them. She had the skills and capabilities to fight Blaze head on and killing him for his power. Instead she actually worshipped him, thus wishing his life to continue. Her problem now laid in staying alive with the bounty on the Realta clan. It made it now to where she had to take up being only Lorelei, but the dilemma was not over.

Would the people not hunt this young woman down, or would they kill her? Are you one of these people? Will you aid Lorelei in her mission to stop the fighting? Or will you aid in her death to allow the land of Moebius to go into a full scale war that cannot be stopped? The decision is yours alone on whether you destroy the wishes of Yume, Kaze, Aerial, and Amrita. As it is your decision about the life of a single woman, pray tell you choose your decision wisely.

Dust would rise as Lorelie the last of the Realta family would wander across the realm of Moebius hiding her true identity only out of protection of her own life. She knew of the hunt for the last Realta and the death wished upon them. She knew it was her blood they wished, though she had no part in the killings. Her prayers had to be with Yume that her life would be spared, if everyone knew she did not partake in the killing of Blaze or the dragons. She had nothing to do with any of it, even though her family was the main reason Blaze was dead.

Lorelie however had tears in her eyes she kept a dark blue hooded cloak over her head so to not be recognized openly before making her way to a tavern. She had to find out any new information about what they planned to do to the last Realta family member and if they called of the hunt or not. She had to pray and hope the hearts was mended enough that the hunt was called off. She knew this would not be so, but she couldn’t help but praying to both Yume and Kaze for their protection being their servant practically. She knew if she hid her face, that she might not be easily recognized as a Realta and might be allowed to live.

Her eyes lifted only slightly from the blinding hood as she came into the tavern. She had to note everyone within before lowering them again placing herself at a table practically placing herself alone on purpose. She spoke to no one and bothered no one, if it did not make it look like she was suspicious the slight glint of metal behind her back would. Only archers trained in the ways of Kaze would hold the unique bows like the one she did, she only prayed to the spirit of Blaze that she did not have to use it.

Shameless Fairy

"Let me go!" Fey screamed as loudly as she could. A week after she had left her home she had been captured. She had been flying along a dirt road toward what she hoped was a village at least. There she hoped to...Fey had no idea what she had hoped for. All she wanted now was to be let out of the box she was ruthlessly shoved in and the box thrown on a wagon. The air sprite screamed as loudly as she could. She wished, once again, that she could just blow the lid open. Even with her powers of wind, it would not work. It must be latched with steal. Or something heavy was set on it.

Fey slide and hit the box walls on every bump the wagon went over. Hours had passed of continuous swaying and bumps. The motion almost lolled the fairy to sleep in her little box. If it was not for a sudden stop, she would have went to sleep. Instead, she became more alert in hope off an escape route. She felt her box become lifted and jerk as if someone was walking with her. She could hear voices outside like in a tavern. Fey's voice was horse from hours of screaming before, but she started up again.

Lorelie faintly heard something, but only because she was silently listening to what she could tell was the wind itself. She could see someone carrying in a box of sorts, but the man with it she did not like as she hid her face from sight. She knew if it was spotted, someone might asked questions due to the hue of her eyes. Someone was already bugging her about the metal behind her back which quickly was shoed away as she got up pulling the hood down to make it appear she was blind to the man with the box, her voice was silent as her lips moved carrying her voice into the box using her own powers of the wind. ‘Stay silent, or the people in here will surely kill you. I’ll get you free.’ Lorelie had a way as she tripped the opening of the box as she bumped into the man on purpose, knowingly getting a dagger to her throat upon doing so, but it would free whomever was trapped.

Her eyes never lifted as she seemed to touch the blade pushing it away from her neck and pushing it into the man’s back making him stand stationary long enough for the box to transfer to her shoulder and she open the box gently. Her lips again would move, but no sound come out as she could not speak openly in the place or surely be caught as the last Realta, ‘Fly freely now.’

Little did Lorelei know that she was already being watched hood and all by a creature barely clothed upon the chest. He smirked knowing his prey well, but he had to instill some measure to get the woman he hunted out in the open to begin toying with her again. Tracking her was no fun as he yawned sitting up in a tree, he only sat outside the tavern as dark blue and light blue hair blew through the air. “She’s got to be in this tavern. Word travelled she was here.”

Fey fell silent. Listening to the voice carried on wind. Surely that was the only way Fey would have been able to hear the voice so clearly. Everything else was muffled by the thickness of the chest. Another thing puzzled Fey. Why would the people in the room kill her? Were fairies hated? Oh! She had been so stupid not to ask about it or listen to any one in the forest. Fey pulled in her wings and moved into an uncomfortable crouch. If there was danger outside, she needed to be ready to fly to the nearest hiding place that isn't a box.

Light flooded the inside of the box. Fey barely peeked her head out of the chest to survey her surroundings. It was a tavern, as she had thought. Even though she had never been anywhere but the forests, she heard stories from others who had. Then again, they had visited humans in a different time....

Fey saw her chance to hide in the folds of a cloak. As quickly as her wings would take her, along with a little help with her air power, she bolted for the cloak of her savior. "Thanks" Fey whispered. Nestling herself onto the human's leg, she made herself as small as possible. She knew she shouldn't bother the one who had saved her, but she was scared and apparently in enemy territory. Not a very good combination. "C-an...Can I hang with you for a while?"

‘It is best, but I cannot use my true voice here. Even my own life would be forfeit here.’ Her face remained hidden in the folds of her hooded cloak, but her actions got her noticed rather quickly by the other patrons as the man she had held by the arm and body fell to the ground dead. She surely had to be trained by someone or something in order to be swift in her movements. Her eyes stayed hidden as she knew now that her stay would not be welcomed at all, but for how long would they know she wasn’t who she said she wasn’t. She had only need to wait for her rations to reach her and she would leave. She doubted for long that would remain quite so peaceful for her. Lorelei had only to pray that Kaze was watching over her.

The tavernkeeper would arrive with her rations before too much longer as she would place them in the folds of her bag and pay the man quietly making her way out of the tavern. She knew some of the men would surely follow her, but she sensed something she did not like. Someone she had battled before as she quietly chanted to be sure she got rid of the demon first before dealing with the tavern thugs. Gilderoy could not spot her.

The demon only sat in his tree but he did not sense the last Realta oddly. What was happening that she was not sensed in the tavern, but that soon came to be understood why as he felt a wind wrap itself around the tree not just making him disappear but the tree as well. Where he appeared was not liked at all, the woman had to have been in the tavern and sensed him somehow sending him to a mountain where one of the gods could clearly lay their hands on him if they found him. “Well well well, she’s getting better but she can’t have liked the rush of magic that well.”

Lorelei took in a few deep breaths. It knocked the wind out of her slightly. It was a nice chunk of magic from her body. She wasn’t like the other races with a large magic source, unfortunately she was only human but the last of her family that remained hunted for a crime that her family commited. ‘Stay hidden, we have company once outside. The thugs of the tavern are upset at their fallen comrade.’ A steel bow would be reached from beneath her cloak, of which the bow itself remained folded through magic before becoming fully formed. What she lacked however was the bolt of arrows most humans needed as she turned to face the tavern so as to strike each thug as they came out, being one to never miss her mark even when not looking.
