Nerezza wasn't happy. In fact, she was furious. And Itzal wasn't too better. "Why the heck did Opal want me to be around HIM?!" "Why did Opal want me to be around her?" The two Ghost Pokemon were stuck together in the forest to "talk things out," but neither of the cousins felt like talking. The two Ghosts certainly had their differences, and they most definitely had no similarities despite being related. Nerezza hated her former friend with a passion, and Itzal eventually got so annoyed with Nerezza that he started disliking her too. Hence why the Gastly and Gengar were together.

"You know, Itzal, I don't like being with you one bit." Itzal smoothed back a bit of flyaway fur and frowned at the Gastly. "Y'know, Nerezza, I don't get you. Why do you hate me so much?" Nerezza groaned and rolled her eyes. "Must we go through this again? I thought we covered this." Itzal walked over to the base of a large tree and sat down, leaning his back against it. "Yes, I believe we did. And it solved nothing. What am I supposed to do? Beg for forgiveness? Not gonna happen. After all, I have my own life to live." Nerezza glared at the Gengar and floated over to a tree opposite him. "Yeah, and now Opal is your human. Which means you'll be living by my rules. Capiche?" Itzal rolled his eyes. Nerezza rolled her eyes. All in all, it was another day with the cousins.

Lumin sat in the branches of a tree, sketching a flock of Pidgey on the ground, when they scattered, startling the young artist, causing him to streak the soft pencil across the page. The picture was ruined, a large black line going across the whole page, Lumin sighed. He loved to draw Pidgey, but they scattered at a moment's notice. It had taken him weeks of practice to be able to move quietly enough to get close. All in all, though, he couldn't blame them. He had heard the voice of at least one Gastly. He shivered, he was terrified of ghosts, and most nocturnal Pokemon as much as the dark that they inhabited. He shook his head, and reached to pet Pastel, who sat beside him.. or.. he had been a second ago...

Pastel had heard the argument between the ghosts, and the little Eevee had no sense of fear.. though that was more from lack of sense than fear. He sat on a branch overlooking them now, and listened intently.. why didn't they like each other? The Gengar sat against the tree that Pastel was in, breaking the Eevee's line of sight. He readjusted himself so that he could see the ghost better.. and slipped. He nearly caught himself, holding onto the bark with his claws, and using his tail for balance, but it was in vain. He toppled from the branch, yelling in fear, falling down.. down.. and stopping?

"I got you..." Lumin hung from the branch by one hand, holding onto Pastel's leg with the other.. he wasn't very athletic, so this wouldn't last long.. and they were pretty high up. He wanted to get Impasto's Pokeball and get the Arbok to pull them up, but that would require a third arm. The bark was biting into his hand, and Pastel was flailing in his other, "Stop.. that..."

Itzal was doing the best that he could to ignore his pest of a cousin, and he wished that he had brought his hand held mirror. The Gengar was sure that he had a lock of flyaway fur somewhere. He self-consciously ran a clawed, ghostly hand through his slightly intangible fur and closed his eyes, listening to the sounds of the forest and trying to drown out the voice of the Gastly near him. Though as his yellow eyes closed for a few moments, they shot open as he heard the sounds of rustling in the trees. He looked up, confused, and saw the outline of an Eevee silhouetted against the sunlight poking through the trees. Itzal stood up in alarm and shouted to Nerezza.

"Gen gengar! Gengar gen gen gengar?!" "Hey Nerezza! Do you see that Eevee up there?!" Nerezza, who was a short distance away, glared at the Gengar with slitted blue eyes. "Gast, gastly gast gast. Gastly gast gast gastly gastly gast?" "Yes, I see the Eevee up there. What do you expect me or yourself to do about it?" Now it was Itzal's turn to glare at his cousin. "Gen, gen, gengar gengar gen?" "Oh, I dunno, maybe we should help?" Nerezza rolled her eyes. "Gast, gastly gast gast gastly? Gastly gast gast!" "Well then, what are you yapping at me for? Go and help him!" Itzal groaned and muttered darkly under his breath and started climbing up the tree where the Eevee was stuck.

As he ascended, the Gengar could see the shape of a human with the Eevee, most likely it's trainer. Itzal continued to climb, and when he reached the two, he put on his most charming smile. "Gen gen, gengar gen gengar. Gengar gengar gen gengar?" "Excuse me sirs, but you seem to be in a bit of trouble. May I offer you some assistance?"
