Dimitri trotted through the trees, sighing to himself. He had just finished a rather dull conversation with a stallion who believed it was his duty to "un-mask the hooligan" that was Dimitri. It would not have gotten on his nerves as much as it did, if it weren't for the fact that said stallion had decided to try and kick Dimi's mask off, and ended up simply smashing his hoof into Dimi's face. There was not much blood left on Dimitri's snout, but there was a bit that he had not been able to wash off with his tongue. So off he went, looking for a stream or something where he would be able to get the rest of it off. He sighed, as a small part of his mind wished there was some pretty damsel who would help clean him up after such an attack. Dimitri paused as shook his head as thoughts of Poppins ran through his mind. He hadn't seen her in weeks! Maybe... it was time to call it a lost cause. He sighed forlornly and walked down the path he was on until he reached a large, empty bank with a gentle, shallow, stream of water babbling over the rocks. Dimitri paused again, looking around to make sure the area was safe...

Poppins Swam in the small Stream, well she accutally kinda waded in... but... it was better then nothing... her mind pondered over several subjects... but some how always wandered back to that masked Stallion... after their last encounter.... she thought it best to stay away for a while... he seemed quite... perturbed about her....
she sighed... she did like him... though she did not know why... and for some reason.. that bothered her

Dimitri had turn his head in a long arc, to be able to see everything around him. Though his mask usually did not affect his sight very much, absorbing one's surroundings was a bit difficult with it on. However, he was used to it, since he'd been wearing his mask for years. As his head swiveled to the right, his heart skipped a beat. A familiar white form was wading through the stream, and though he did not want to get his hopes up until he was sure, Dimitri had a feeling in his heart that this was the female he had been thinking of moments prior. Dimitri was about to trot his way over to her when the faint trickle of blood from his nose reminded him that he probably was not particularly pleasant to behold at the moment. Moving as quietly as possible, Dimitri slipped to the waters edge and dipped his bloody nose into the cool stream. He sighed with relief as the water washed away the small amounts of blood left and eased the ache in his face.

"dim... Dimitri?" she looked at the stallion puzzled... " whats wrong with your..... why do you have blood on your... oh dear lord... were you fighting?" she looked concerned and she waded over... she nuzzled his nose to help him clean off the blood. "goodness... what was the cause of all this blood?" she doctored him softly much like a mother would do to her child...

Dimitri lifted his face from the water, frowning slightly before he replied primly, "Fighting is for unintelligent brutes who've no better way of expressing their emotions than through lashing out violently at others..." He smirked slightly and replied with a slight laugh in his throat, "As it were, the circumstances of my injury are unimportant and the story behind it is nothing special. I just had a run-in with a rather ridiculous stallion..." Dimitri then trailed off as she began to nuzzle his nose, helping him clean up. At first, the touch hurt tremendously, and Dimi wanted to yelp and flinch away, but the pain eased quickly and was replaced with a dull feeling of contentment.
Relaxing slightly, he continued softly, "And I wouldn't suggest doing that... you are going to stain your pretty white fur..."

"My fur will wash out... never you mind" she said some what sturnly as she finished cleaning the blood off his face... "if he did that to you... i'd hate to see what you did to him... " she chuckled to herself...
"strange us running into eachother again Dimitri.... maybe it's fate?" she purred slightly

Dimitri snorted lightly, so he wouldn't spray blood everywhere, and replied coolly, "I gave him a vicious verbal lashing which probably scarred him mentally and emotionally. As I said, I do not partake in violence when it is so unwarranted. I was able to put him in his place without laying a hoof on him..." He felt a bit insulted that she though he would beat someone up over something so small as this, but he didn't express that emotion. She was, after all, probably just trying to lighten the mood.
"As it were, I do not believe in fate... But, even so, I can not say I am not glad to see you darling. What were you up to be before me. myself, and I barged in on your lovely morning...?"

She laughed lightly "i was just bathing myself" she blushed. "A girl must keep herself fresh should she run into some one she.... " her blushed deepened and she trailed off mumbling "loves." she looked Dimitri in the eye... wondering what she should do or say next.

Dimitri quirked an eyebrow, though again, it was hidden from the world. He chuckled and tilted his head, swiveled both of his ears forward, and upturned the sides of his mouth in a teasing smile, "The one she loves, eh? Well, I'm sure he would appreciate whatever small thing you do with him in mind..." He refused to let this situation become awkward; awkward just wasn't something he did. "I have indeed bathed myself just this morning as well, before my run-in that brutish stallion. I WAS quite clean and smelled of flowers probably..." He sighed dramatically, keeping the smile on his face, "Oh woe is me... I have been de-flowered...", mentally smirking at the double connotation of what he said last.

Poppins Blushed and Giggled " Your such a brute" she said laughing before she composed herself " well we must flower you again... " she picked up a cat tail in her mouth... and softly placed it in his mane. "there... flowered... " she giggled "so.. are we going to pick up our game of tag? or would you like to try a different game?" she bumped his cheek softly... making sure not to move the mask... and avoid his injured nose.

Dimitri tossed his head playfully at her fist comment, "Brute? I would prefer the term sensual, or possibly even fiend..." He laughed and stood still as she put a flower into his mane. This female was going to run him ragged with her games! "Tag? Again? My dear, I am getting tired just thinking of my last experience with that game. Perhaps something different?" He shook his head, and replied with a more solemn playfulness, "Your games are going to be the death of me, I know it..." Dimitri added a good chuckle at the end, to let her know he was just teasing.

Poppins blushed and giggled " Dimitri... that is my intention... " she laughed "because when you are tired... i will steal that flower back... " she laughed louder. then walked around him "what to play.... what tooo ... play... ?" she thought. "how about... you pick the game? Since your to old and decrepit to keep up" she looked him in the eye... "well ... old fart?" she teased

Dimitri laughed and shook his head, "Again, I would prefer a different choice of diction. I am not old, I simply like to move at a slower pace than the rest of the world. You however, are quite the bubbly little thing, quite like a foal actually... it is rather, cute." He smirked and stuck his tongue out at her, laughing. He paused for a moment to think, and then replied, "I remember one game that I liked when I was younger, because I could take my time and make sure I didn't get too dirty. I believe it was called, seeking and hiding... or... um... hide-and-go-seek? Yes, that sounds about right, hide-and-go-seek... Do you know that one?"

Poppins thought for a moment " I do... however... who will hide and who will seek?"
she looked at him... "if i seek, you might just run away... but... if you seek... you might not even bother comeing to find me... "

Dimitri's head snapped back and he gasped, affronted, "Pardon me?! I do not believe I heard you correctly. Are you actually insinuating that I would trick you in some horrible manner such as what you have just named...? No, you must be joking... You couldn't possibly believe either of those things..."
He laughed and continued, "Heh, you got me on that one! I must say, you worried me for a second. So, uh... why don't you choose what you like to do more? Ladies first, of course, so... would you rather seek or hide?"
