Growing up in the jungle where the Kunanda Nakhun lands where had been very easy on Ochiba. Her mother and brother had been very loving and a great support to her and learning new things had been very easy to her. Or maybe she just had good genes? Ochiba smirked and wagged her tail happily at the tought of it.
Being high ranked was something she was very aware of but she didn't let it go straight up to her head and make her snobby or think she was better then anyone else. She knew that the other girls that had lower rank because of their colors was needed as well and so was the boys as well. Growing up with her twin brother had made Ochiba very understanding towards males as well. Even if the pride wasn't always so understanding.
Ochiba was daydreaming and didn't really think much more would happen today..

 Kupa wasn't stupid though many might think so, what with his normally placid expression, soft and slow voice and easy going movements. Maybe it was his massive size, for a male of the pride he was huge towering over his sisters and mother by a full head. No he defiantly wasn't stupid, he just liked to think things through before he commented.
Today, something was defiantly bothering the big male as he padded along, the black tuft on the end of his tail twitching ever so often. His momma had looked sadder when she looked at him lately as if she knew something he didn't know and didn't want to tell him.

Ochiba was almost dizzing away when she suddenly heard something...it sounded like someone was comming this way. Ochiba had found a nice resting spot under a big tree with a lot of big leaves that shaded her nicley...she peeked out from under the tree and tried to see who was comming this way.
Her ears listend carefully and after a while she spotted something bright red oh it looked like a juve lion but it was hard to see if it was a male or a female from this distance. Ochiba was very curious and didn't mind meeting new lions from her pride at all. Since he or she had to be in the same pride as her since she never knw of any cases where they let in strangers that wasn't going to join the pride.
She didn't know if the other lion had spotted her or not but she continued to stay at her resting spot.

With the bright colors of the pride one would think it was hard to hide, but Kude hadn't been trained to be a hunter so it took a long time for his brain to register the change in the wind. He blinked at her stupidly for a moment before a bright, sunny smile broke over his muzzle as he gave her a sweeping bow.
"Greetings lady!" His smile was sweet and easy as he took a seat near her, trying to duck his massive body so his head would be lower than hers...but when he was as big as he was it was hard to do.
"How may I be of service to you lady?" Everything in the bright red male's world revolved around making females that he met happy. He loved making them smile and seeing them happy, it meant everything to him.

Ochiba smiled when she saw that the young male was coming walking towards her. He was a curious one indeed just like herself. She sat up when he slinked in under her tree it was both nicer and better to great someone in that way.
" Oh hallo there! I haven't seen you around here before "
The young male looked troubled a few moments ago but when she looked at his face now it was like that serious face he had before was blown away. Maybe it was just her imagination then she didn't know this male after all.
" My name is Ochiba. What is yours? "

Oh goodie she was friendly like his sisters! He beamed as he looked at her, careful not to meet her eyes. Sure she was friendly, but it was just good manners not to seem challenging. He knew some females found his sheer size a good reason to put him down.
"I am Kupa, son of Mawu, grandson of Koi." Perhaps it was just his way but he seemed to take pride in being from a line of strong females. Never mind that his mother was low ranking due to her coloring...she was still the strongest, best female ever in his mind.

Ochiba was indeed friendly but both her mother and father where very open minded. She tilted her head when he mentioned Koi wasn't that her mothers sister? she seen her a few times but her mother spoke of her a lot.
" Oh really? Kawarimono is my mother and she told me that her sister is named Koi. That is great! i haven't met any other relatives then my mother, father and brother "
Well she did have two half sisters as well but one of them joined another pride but the other one is still around but she mostly kept to herself. But now that she was an adolescent maybe she could visit her sister?

Kupa's smile brightened as he shifted his weight from side to side, his front feet kinda dancing with his excitement. Here was one that was family and family was very, very important.
"Oh that is wonderful! I am so happy to meet you then! I have meet others of the pride but it is not often that you find one that is family!" His rumbling purr sounded almost like a beast growling, but there was no malice in the big boy.
"How may one who is family server you lady?" That was what he lived for of course, to be of use to the females of his family...well it was what made him happy anyway.

Ochiba watched he young juve boy being all excited when he found out that they where family. Meeting relatives was important after all. She wagged her tail a little and tried to think about something that she could need help with but she couldn't think of any really.
" Well right now i am just relaxing so i can't really think of anything i need help with but thanks anyway "
Maybe they could go somewhere do do something perhaps? There was many fun places in this jungle.
" Do you want to go down to the small lake to see if we can find somethng fun to do? "

"Yes ma'am." Kupa smiled happily at the lady. Perhaps she would like Kupa to fish for her at the lake, his sisters had taught him to fish when he had been just a cub. Perhaps it wasn't good for a male to know how to hunt...but his sisters wanted to make sure that he would never go hungry.
"Lead on lady."

Ochiba loved the lake and the water. Many in her family also had fish names witch was rather unique and funny Ochiba tought. She had often gone down to the lake to go look for seashells with her mother and brother.
" Ok it's this way! "
The lake wasn't very far away and Ochiba knew more then one lake as well. But she picked her favorite one witch was not no big and not to small and full of colorful fish.
" Here it is~~ what do you think? "
She walked down to the shore and bent down her head to drink the tasteful and clean water.

Kupa smiled at her with genuine pleasure as he looked about the small glad. He loved the water and loved to spoil ladies, " if if pleases my lady I will be happy to fetch some fresh fish for you." His smile was tentative, having spoken up to a strange woman even if she was family in a way.
"My sisters tell me I am a fair hand at fishing."

Ochiba watched the young boy...he seemed to like the water as well witch was great she tought. There was always room for one more that liked water and fish.
" Oh sure i don't mind~~ show me your skills "
She smiled and sat down to watch him. Her tail twiched back and fourth from excitement. She knew that her skills was quite good but it would be intresting to see how this boy would do it maybe boys did it diffrently...
