James is very attached to his car, a 1967 Ford Shelby mustang which he drives everywhere and does not let anyone else drive it, its his pride and joy. He is always up for a laugh and is relatively laid back but is always the the first to jump into danger guns blazing.
H i s t o r y
Just like Sam and Dean, his mother died in a nursery fire, pinned to the ceiling, although his father tells everyone that she died in a car accident. His father blamed him for his mother's death and put him into care. He escaped from care at the age of 16 and has been living the rest of his life learning about truth of his mothers death through vague flashbacks of what happened. He has been trying to find the thing that killed his mother since he turned 18 and on the way to find out what killed his mother he has been hunting and killing any evil he could find. He meet John Winchester on a hunting trip where he was hunting a werewolf that had been killing people every night in a small remote town called Hays. John helped him track down and kill the werewolf. While doing so he told him about his two sons Sam and Dean. He told him to try and find them and pass on a sealed letter containing something. Daniel hasn't opened the letter out of respect of John. As they hunted together for a short while Daniel has grown to respect John and follow his orders without question.
B a d H a b i t s
Hunts too much, Gets into too much trouble which usually gets him into fights. Since hunting isn't a real job he is a bit off a con artist. James usually jumps straight into danger without asking questions. He prefers to shoot first and ask questions later.He talks about cars too much, mainly his car which he adores.
