Azzo was still stuffed up in the Hospital. It looked like everyone else could go home early. However somehow he'd obtained broken ribs, still unsure of how he managed that. The doctors had said he'd be stuck there for about a month.
He rubbed his head as he was reading on of his hypnotism and medical uses books that his grandma brought him. It was times like these he wished he owned more than silly medical books and puppet books. There were also two sock puppets laying on his beside table.

Alessa tried to get her head around the organ traffic story she heard about in the news before heading to the hospital. That was considerably more horrifying than these monsters popping up everywhere: it was easy to find a big supernatural beast… but how could they deal with people who were ready to kidnap students her age for their organs? Creepy. She had decided to visit them in priority, as they must really need the company of someone their age. However, she didn’t have the slightest idea how she was supposed to talk with teens that had disappeared for a whole year or so, and possibly lost a couple organs in the process. Still, a year sounds like a really long time, maybe she didn’t hear the journalist too well. Knock knock. “Mister Crowley? I’m Alessa David, I’m a volunteer and I'm here to spend some time with you. Can I come in?” she asked, waiting for his answer before opening the door.

Azzo's head turned towards the door. "Sure, come on in." He wasn't really sure what to say himself as he set the book down he'd been reading.
If she expected to ask him about the time there are that organ trafficking deal she'd be disappointed when she found out he barely remember anything at all about it. Even then he wasn't sure he had even been there.
He pondered for a second, "Just call me Azzo, Miss David." He put on a smile.

The brunette pushed the door. “You can just call me Alessa, David is a boy’s name and it can be confusing”, she replied with a smile of her own. She turned her bag in front of her, looking for a box inside. “So, huh, I’ve brought homemade cookies – I hope you can eat them! – and…”
Before she finished her sentence, she saw the books (which weren’t exactly special) and the sock puppets (which were a lot more unusual to see in the room of a boy his age). “Oh! Are these a gift? Do you like puppets?” As she spoke, she walked around Azzo’s bed to put the cookie box on his bedside table. Thankfully, the conversation started off less awkwardly than expected.

Azzo blinked and chuckled before wincing. "I gotta remember to not do that, and alright Alessa."
He paused looking at the bag, "What kind of cookies?" Of course food got his attention. Before being distracted by the question, "Oh... no grams brought them. She thought it'd keep me occupied."
He grinned softly picking up the puppet. "I er... actually have stringed ones but she figured those would be too hard to use. So she brought my old sock puppets along."

“Plain chocolate cookies, I figured I could not go wrong with that” answered the girl, distracted by the puppets. She thought there was something weird, even childish about liking them, even stringed ones. … coming from the girl who watched James Bond for its outmoded charm, made fun of the Power Rangers, and occasionally recited cheesy lines well-known by geeks. Maybe she wasn’t in the best position to judge one’s puerile hobby. “So… you’re a collector? Do you make puppets?” She helped herself with one of her cookies. “Or maybe you ushe dem? Dosh you make performanshesh or shumfing?”

Azzo grinned, "mmm chocolate cookies, yup anything chocolate you can't go wrong with less someone is allergic to it." He paused, "But fear not because I'm not allergic to chocolate.... well that I remember anyways."
He gave a half hearted heh, 'cause he'd see a few people wonder up and down the hallways he swore he should know. But he didn't. So it was kinda... messed up.
He listened to the questions, why did everyone question these things? When she was finished he seemed to think of the best way to answer, "Well... it's more like there's always shows that need them. So yes... in a way I suppose I do collect them."
He sat down the puppet back where it was before folding his hands. She seemed to have... either a lisp or an accent. He reached up to scratch the back of his head. "Out of curiosity, that wouldn't happen to be an accent would it?"
His brown eyes wondered over her features for a brief second before leaned back slightly in the bed staring at the ceiling.

Alessa swallowed the cookie she was munching on. She apologized. “Sorry, I shouldn’t speak while I’m eating!” It was hard for her to feign further interest for Azzo’s puppets. “So… you’re amnesiac?” She thought it was maybe better this way. At first glance, he didn’t seem too traumatised or concerned about the whole ordeal. “Do you still remember your school, your friends? Hey, if you go to Meadowview, maybe I can help you with schoolstuff.” It was awfully late to start the school year, but Alessa was sure the teachers would be lenient with him and… the… other schoolkids. It only dawned on her at this moment. How many of these students were going to join her school now? It was very strange thinking about it.

He hadn't actually noticed she'd taken a bite of cookie, "Oh it's fine."
He paused looking at her before shaking his head, "I don't really remember much, if that's what you mean. They said something about post-traumatic suppression." He paused, "School? ... uh I remember up till about..." He closed his eyes thinking, "Middle school... god I'm going to have to start high school all over aren't I?" They'd only been taken for a year, why couldn't he remember anything about the high school he went to?
"I have vague... flashes.... like a red brick buildings. Faces I can't put any names to. But other than that, I don't remember a whole heck of a lot."
He paused, "Uh... I think Meadowview was where grams was going to send me anyways." He paused, "She'd said something about Hill Worth... Hillsworth[?] being too rough." He shrugged unsure.

Fortunately, the topic turned out to be as acceptable as any other. “If it can reassure you a bit, I’m kinda new to Meadowview too. Well, I’m also new to Destiny City, I moved here two months ago or so. I heard a bit about Hillworth, it sounds quite… different.” She hoped the puppeteer was familiar already with the place, because she didn’t know enough of the city to show him around. After all, maybe he didn’t even live here prior to his kidnapping. “Anyway, everyone’s rather nice there. You shouldn’t have a hard time adjusting!” She picked up the box and held it in arm’s reach for his easy access. “Cookie? Do you want me to fetch something?”

Azzo nodded, slightly quite. "Mmhmm.... but being 18 as it is, it's going to be hard for me to start the blasted stuff all over... Unless I just don't remember the school at all... but remember the material..."
He frowned slightly as he was trying to think, "Which is weird 'cause they said we'd only been missing a year...." It seemed he remember birthdays. Having gotten presents. Mostly cash.
He took a cookie when one was in reach, "You could fetch me a fast way out of here." He said slightly jokingly. "Though maybe they'll let me go home in a week or two...."
Unfortunately with still half broken ribs that was going to prove being a bit too optimistic.

Alessa seemed surprised. “You are 18? You looked younger than that! Ah, well, I can’t exactly help you with schoolstuff then, I’m 16. Almost 17, my birthday is in a month, but the result’s the same.” She pushed the box back on the bedside. “Well, like you said, you have post-traumatic amnesia… perhaps it’s blocking older memories because… the mind is a strange thing”, finally gave up the girl with a shrug. She didn’t know the littlest bit about psychology, and could absolutely not see why such a thing would happen.
In a week or two? That must mean he didn’t lose anything important. And well, Azzo was pale, but she was sure he would have looked much worse if it were the case. What a relief. The student with glasses chuckled. “I can’t do that, sorry! I’m pretty useless, after all, I guess… no explanation, no answer, no way out. Only cookies and…” A glance at her bag. “… and a Scrabble. To be fair, I usually meet children at the hospital. Or much older people.”

Azzo seemed to think, "Yeah, eh who knows you might could help me with Science or something. I remember I was pretty bad at Science back in middle school."
He nodded, "Yeah, it is a strange thing, not even hypnotism could help, at least I don't think it can." He set the book aside that'd he'd been reading.
"Heh it's alright. I'll just have to wait for the ribs to heal enough for them to kick me out." He pondered, "Scrabble, you know what I haven't played in a while? Guess Who." He use to have one when he was younger.

“Well, I’m not exactly good in science… but not bad either, just average.” Much like every other subject, actually. “But I’ll still help if I can.” She nodded, reinforcing her statement. She wasn’t used to seeing patients outside the hospitals once she was done visiting them, however, she couldn’t leave the poor guy alone to deal with school.
She finally decided to sit down on the nearest chair. “Broken ribs? That must hurt, but yeah, I heard those heal rather quickly.” Her smile appeared again. “Got a fit of nostalgia? Don’t you have anything more recent than Guess Who, though? I wonder if kids today still like that game…”

Azzo gave a soft chuckle trying not to make his ribs throb more. "Well, I'm pretty sure I'd blow something up, even without things that you can't normally make combust." He shook his head softly.
He looked at her, "That's good news at least. Hopefully I won't be stuck in here for a full month or two." He wrinkled his nose, "I'd go plum stir-crazy. And yeah they hurt a little, worse to laugh."
He shrugged thinking, "I dunno. I know I always wanted to play hungry hungry hippos but never got the game." He shook his head, "Not really sure about anything more... recent? I know there's video games and things but never got the chance to play any."
