I had a dream the other day..it was pretty ******** up, but funny at the same time. My dreams can be spontaneous, and change from one thing to another in an instant.
I was being chased by a clown. He was chasing me and my friend because....well, I don't really know why, but he had a hatchet. We were running for a long time, while he was screaming, "I'm gonna beat your asses!" and "Get back here you son of a ******** ended up running up to a different clown, who was just lighting a Newport. The other clown disappeared when hit lit it. Than we were like...damn, I wonder if he'll share that with us, and I woke up.
I hate sleep, due to the fact that I never dream anything pleasant.

This isn't really a duplicate thread, if you think about it. The first thread about dreams dealt with telling your dreams, and everyone interpreted what that dream meant. The second thread dealt with nightmares. The third thread dealt not with dreams in general, but living in your dreams; a roundabout way of escapism, if you will. This thread deals with various types of dreams, and whatnot. Which isn't a bad thing at all.
The dreams that confuse me are when I'm doing stuff in real life, and then wake up to find out that it was all a dream. Those dreams annoy me.

I dreamed last night that I was lost. I was at work but nobody came to pick me up so I had to walk home. But I started walking to Vegas instead and got completely lost. So I tried to walk home, but I couldn't find my way there, either. So I just sat down in the middle of the desert and cried. It wasn't much fun.
And I know there's a thread for these in the Chatterbox thread, but I found this one first! lol

WELL.. time for someone to get on topic. xp
I had a nightmare. It was horrible, yet also a wtf nightmare. Parts were funny, parts were sad, parts were scary.. this was my first dream of the year, after my first sleep of the year..
I was younger, like maybe 14. Me and some friends (who I don't know) were all sitting outside this building by a fountain. We were all in bathing suits. We were all really pretty and dolled up. We were talking about our boobs, and we teased one girl cause she didn't really have any, but it was like.. fun making fun. She wasn't mad and laughed too. Next thing I know, I'm running through this big hall, looking at faces. I was carrying a pink ballgown, it may have been my homecoming dress from high school. All the friends from outside were in little groups with their families, but I couldn't find mine. Then everything was like background, all I saw was my dad and I stopped dead in my tracks. I was all hysterical, crying and screaming, "I just want to hug my dad! I want to hug my daddy, it's not real!" And then I saw my grandma Tata and I wasn't sad anymore, just mad. I said, "He's dead, he's not here for real, can you PLEASE stop bringing him here?" And just like that he vanished. My other family from his side was there too, his two oldest sisters. Tata asked if I had any family to come pick me up. I told her, "No, you know I don't have any family." And I wanted to call Matt but I couldn't remember his number. She said there was a priest there who wanted to help me by giving me $20. All of a sudden I was on the phone with her, rather than being there. I said, "******** that priest!" I started saying all kinds of messed up stuff about him, a bunch of curse words, screaming them in the phone. I told her that if they dropped me off out there I would be killed or raped. I said there is no way I could survive on prospect. (Prospect is a notoriously bad road, drug deals and hookers) It was so weird, but I was so scared and freaking out. I was crying. "I'll be raped in an hour, I know it!" I was screaming like crazy and then realized I was dreaming and had to get out. I screamed "HELP!" and "Matt!" over and over again, knowing somehow if I didn't wake up I was going to die.
I woke up with Matt asking why I was screaming. In my dream I screamed his name about 25 times.. he said in real life I screamed it twice. This isn't even the kind of s**t I could make up, seriously...
I know this post is becoming long.. but I want to explain a few things about my dream that scare/confuse me. The first part of the dream was like a beauty pageant.. the second felt like an intervention. The people in the dream are significant too. My dad died a few moths ago.. my tata raised me and I haven't seen her since after my dad died. She's also the only family I talk to. My dad's older sisters are his only siblings I remember at all.. and the only ones who ever loved me really.. and both the only ones who saved me from my dad. Prospect is a place I've never actually been, but it's where my dad tied up my half-brother's mom and threw her out into the street after beating her. The preacher.. maybe has something to do with my non-beliefs and possibly the preacher in Archie I argued with over the bible. Matt of course is my fiancee..
I'm just in shock over the relevance of the things in the dream. As for the end.. that's actually happened to me before.. the realization that I'm sleeping and the fear that I must wake up.

Captian Asshat This dream...seems like a memory that you want to get rid of. A memory from early years. Bad years. Ya, I think the whole thing has something to do with my dad. I just can't figure out the beginning.. but maybe dreams really are just a random sequence of clips from your brain.. but I don't wanna believe that. The part where I say I have no family is the hardest thing. Cause I don't. It's always been like that with both sides of my family. The only ones who have ever (really) been there for me were my dad, my mom, tata, Sally and Susan. My dad is dead, my mom is missing, Sally lives in Washington and Susan lives in Hawii. Oh.. wow.. my mom is missing and she was the only one missing from the dream.. and Tata is the only one I still get to talk to of the four, and she's the only one who talked in my dream! Wow.. I've never had a dream that had so much real meaning before. I think I will remember this dream forever. And I think it definitely means something.
