The son of two former members of the Elite 4, many things were expected of Kiba when he was born. He was excepted to keep up with the high life that his parents were used to living. He was expected to be a perfect little gentlemen at all times He was expected to become a great trainer, to rise to become a Champion or even a member of his own Elite 4. And he was expected to go along with his parent’s wishes, though they were rarely there for him. To his credit, Kiba grew up quickly, maturing more than most kids his age. Since he didn’t have many friends of his social status (and he wasn’t allowed to befriend “lesser” kids), he became close to pokemon. Kiba hopes that this journey will prove himself- whenever to his parents, to the world, or just to himself, he’s not sure.

Though Kiba's parents were never that good at caring for their son emotionally, his family is wealthy and has done one thing that he greatly appreciates. With the newest technology, they made a necklace that he wears around his neck in the shape of a Mightyena, that translates pokemon speech so that he can understand what they are saying. This helps him make strong bonds with his pokemon. In battling, he is very balanced and helps his pokemon use their strengths to their best abilities.
