Rin walked through the doors of the hold and set down her pack. She had brought only a few things with her. Just her clothes, a wood-carved ship, and a scroll.
Her long red hair was braided with bits of cloth and small flowers. She was wearing traveling gear her parents had provided for her trip. She was clearly in her mid teens but the light was almost gone from her eyes.
Rin had only ridden on a dragon once before this and that was not a happy time. She shook the thoughts of her grandfather's death from her mind.
Although she was here to learn how to heal dragons she hoped she would be one of the few chossen to impress one of the fantastic creatures.
Rin began to look around the hall for someone who could show her to her room. Surely they knew she was coming. Rin hoped her father remembered to have the harper send his flit to deliver the message.

Rin sighed and walked over to a table and sat down to wait. 'I hope the poor beast wasn't stuck between.' She thought to herself as she rester her elbow on the table.
She was not use to this place. Everything was strange to her, everything was new. Rin was reminded of the story the harper had told about his first day in the harper hall. This was really simular.
'Maybe everyone is in the wyer bowl, I did see it when I arrived.' She thought and stood up. Rin sat down again, 'I should wait here for someone, it is the right thing to do.'
Rin rested her chin in her hand and continued to wait for someone to come. Surely she wasn't expected to find her way around the hold on her own.

Caleten moved towards the entrance of the hold, her right arm clutching her upper left arm unable to feel the limb under her heavy deep green wool cloths. Her hazel eyes scan the area as she slips along the wall following it away from the candidates barracks.
Her takes were clear in her head, find her runnerbeast then see what she could use and 'borrow' it. The feeling of being in an enclosed area, a wryer no less, felt empty to her. All the people around, though they seemed to be some where else. Using the glow lights, her eyes were enabled to take in the figure of someone. Posture cued her off that that person was probably a female.
She saw no use in socializing but just maybe this person would know where she could find her runnerbeast. Moving closer, she cleared her throat, "Greetings." Her tone wasn't completely friendly; however, she wasn't off the bat aloof either.

Rin was startled from a daydream. "Greetings. Are you the one the harper sent the message to? Someone was susposed to meet me and no one was waiting when I arrived," Rin said with disapointment in her voice.
Rin was never the most social of people. She spent her time reading and learning things. When she wasn't doing that she was sneaking onto her grandfather's fishing boat and then explaining herself once they were out to sea.
As Rin stood from her seat the wooden ship she had brought with her fell off her lap. She kneeled down and gently picked it up. As she stood she checked the boat for dammage. There was none. She smiled slightly and tucked the boat into her pack.

Caleten reflected a moment, there would be no chance that a harper would know she was there. If anyone did, the only one coming for her would be her furious parents. Staying where she was standing she replied, "No, I am not who you are here to see. I haven't seen many since I arrived here, Just hearing the sounds, I'd say the dragons are doing something though I do not know what." In her exploration that she had done, she had heard dragon noises when she was close enough to the bowl even though she didn't know that was where she was.
The falling of the boat caught her attention. Even though the Southern hold was near the water, she hadn't seen many of them. The item left her mind shortly after as she looked back to the person she was talking to.
"Did you come here on a runnerbeast?" Her tone never changed and she didn't sound too inquisitive, it was just a necessary question and she treated it as such.

"Oh, I see," Rin began, sitting down once more with a sigh. She looked up at the lady before her. "I came by dragon."
The flight of a dragon is something she could never forget, even if she were just watching.

Caleten scowled as she thought about how she got to the wyer. Search nonsense was no excuse for picking her off the plains like that! Well, it doesn't seem like this woman would be of much use to her, certainly she didn't seem to have anything that she could use.
Still, you never know untill you ask. "Have you been anywhere but here?", she asked simply never moving from her spot.

Rin thought a moment, "I came straight her from the small fishing hold I was born in."
She knew something wasn't right. She senced something about this person was not as it appeared. Rin felt she was hideing something.
"So, where did you come from before coming here?" She asked to get more information.

Caleten was slightly peeved that the person she was talking with had no information that would help her. She planned to live on the plains not on a sea hold. Still, sometimes you can find out as much about someone by what they ask as you can about what you ask them.
Nonchalantly she responded, "I live on the plains, holdless." She kept her answer short and watched the woman. Not that she cared if the other thought she was crazy or braze, still it could be amusing to see her response.
As she watched, she was already thinking of where else she could go or do. This socializing thing was an old habit she thought she had broken yet, here she was talking be it little but still.
Well, she had enough of that, the idea of being holdless tended to make people uncomfortable and she had no interest in sticking around. Without so much as a word, she turned and slipped back into the darkness searching once more for things she could use in the leave she planned to take and her runnerbeast.

Ooc: Sorry I didn't respond in so long. My internet was not working right. The company had to install new lines all over town.
Bic: Rin was about to say how sad it was to be holdless and ask what she did durring threadfall, but the girl ran off before she could. Rin sighed and hummed quietly to herself while wondering if she should go to the wyer bowl.
