Denkatsu was bored and it was not a pleasant feeling. He liked to be active and physical. Because his favorite pastimes included running, he was in great physical shape. He was fast and strong. Unfortunately, inside, he acted more like a puppy then an adult. At least, that is what his siblings told him. Still, he enjoyed his lifestyle.
However, even more than running, Denny liked to be a hero. For several months now, he had spent his days wandering around the rouge lands, trying to find others that he could help. He hadn't found many, but he had helped a cub find her parents after getting lost, and had saved a baby bunny from falling into a stream.
There was something about helping others that made Denny feel good and rewarded. He liked to see their smiles and their grateful expressions. It never occurred to him that someone might refuse his help.
Strolling along, Denkatsu cast out his sense of smell and sniffed at the air. He was starting to get hungry and would have to hunt soon. He disliked hunting because he had to hurt another creature, but he was careful to always make it quick and as painless as he could. However, this time he didn't scent any prey, but he did smell another of his own kind nearby. Curious, Denny followed his nose to see who he would find.

Ariane heaved a rather heavy sigh. She had managed to get herself tangled up in another mess and to be honest, it was getting ridiculous. This time she had been hunting and somehow found herself with her head stuck in the hollow trunk of a fallen tree. How this had happened, well it was a rather interesting story really. And an embarrassing one.
The reddish purple canine had been stalking her prey, like any good hunter would do, carefully making internal notes about the behavior of said prey. Sudden her prey lifted it's head as the wind carried her scent, she thought she had been standing down wind but was quickly proven wrong. Then the creature was off bolting for dear life.
The female snarled, not about to let her food escape(she had been stalking the thing for a while after all) and started after it. It didn't take her long to be at the other creature's heels and she dove, teeth snapping, just as her prey dove into the tree trunk and off into safety leaving the wild dog stuck.
It was embarrassing simply because a rabbit had gotten the better of her. A rabbit.
She groaned pushing her paws against the bottom of the tree desperately pushing in an attempt to free herself. "This is ridiculous!"
