The weather was slightly warm for the late autumn season. Seeing as the weather was still nice, Sorakai thought it would be a great idea to take advantage of the fall foliage. Sporting a light windbreaker and a baby on his back thanks to the fine people at baby mart providing him with the hands off carrying device, the Thai man took a trip to the local park.

It was perfect for a few family photos, or at least to get shots of his new and very green son. “Ok kiddo… we’re going to plop you here and there, take a few photos. Then we’ll go home.” He stated to the small child that was more interested in chewing on a leaf than what he was saying. Ah well.

“Now… where’s the spot.” He mused to himself, spotting a nice bush with leaves fluttering around it under a small maple tree. Yep, that’ll do just fine. Just how was he going to get the boy to sit still for it? He had no idea… yet. Gently removing the boy from his back, Sorakai held him in his arms to take a good look at him. “Behave… please…” he begged the boy, receiving a small cooing in reply.

Sitting the boy down beside the tree, Sorakai did a quick scan of the area. No garbage was around, leaves only needed to be quickly shoved aside to freshen the area up a bit and then it was adjusting the boy’s position. “We’ll make it quick, I promise. Then we’ll go home for some lunch. I’m sure you’re hungry, you’re eating another leaf.”

Taking the fallen leaf from the boy’s hand he quickly wiped the remnants of it from his beak. “Need to keep that cute little face clean.” Smirking, the father quickly fixed the son’s cream-colored shirt. Junpei had put up quite a fight when being dressed earlier that day, but Sorakai had won the battle. The boy wasn’t going outside without something warm on!

Looking at his father, Junpei gurgled slightly and let his head tip to the side. Water sloshed around in the bowl though somehow magically didn’t spill. How? Well… Eyes drifted to the side of him as he scanned the area curiously. It was his second time out of the house and this world was so new to him!

The weather was indeed fairly nice for so late in the autumn season, so nice that Todd had decided it would be nice to go out for a run. Of course GETTING out was somewhat a pain since he was home with his over protective father, Elliot. But then again Todd was good at getting around obstacles. So much so, that he was now running under the afternoon sun, tongue lolling out to the side as he enjoyed his full out run in his fox form.

He had made his way to the park, his small fox body darting between the trees and bushes. His plan was to run around a bit, and then be home before Elliot even noticed he was missing, or at least that WAS his plan until he saw two others in the park. It wasn't odd to see others at the park, but the child he saw certainly was odd, so odd that he couldn't help himself but change his direction, heading towards the child to sniff him out.

Suddenly he was beside the green child, sniffing at him curiously. Though to any one else it looked like a wild animal just decided to set up camp beside their child.

The small rustle in the bushes it what caught the boy’s attention. The baby let out yet another small cooing as he tried to find the source of the sound. Sorakai? Well, he ignored it. It wasn’t until he saw the orangey animal beside his son that he realized it wasn’t just the wind. Eyes widening, he was quick to swat his hand at the beast. “Get out of here!” He warned, protecting the small child that had no clue of the danger, or actually lack there of.

Maybe this was a bad idea. Grabbing up his child, Sorakai stood and looked down at the animal. “Go on, get you little flea bag!” Even though seeing a fox was considered good luck in some cultures, this particular mischievous creature couldn’t be up to any good.

Todd ducked away from the batting hand, letting out a huff of annoyance before he turned his attention on the adult. He set down on his haunches, orange tail flicking angrily behind him as he watched the older man and child. He was content with bothering the man in his fox form, seeing that it really did bother the guy to see him, but that was until he was called flea bag.

Todd's eyes narrowed before he pushed himself into his more human form, although he kept his fox ears and tail. It was like magic, one moment a fox was there then the next a fox ear and tailed boy was sitting there, with a rather annoyed look on his face. " I don't have fleas!"

Eyes went wide as he watched the beast transform into… a kid!? Oh lord, could this day get any weirder?! Taking a step back, the adult stayed on his guard. Even if it was a kid, with ears and a tail, it still almost tried to eat his son! “What the hell is wrong with you kid?” He asked, petting the hair of his child lightly. “You into eating children or something?”

Junpei was clueless to the whole situation, looking down at the fox boy curiously. Dark green eyes blinked before he was reaching down with grabby hands. He wouldn’t get anywhere near enough to touch the other, but he was still curious!

Todd's tail flicked curiously. "Eating children? You're a silly grown up. I was sniffing him, that's all. His eyes went to the green child again, seeing him make grabby hands, Todd couldn't help but grin and wave back with his tail.

He turned his attention back toward the adult, figuring that introducing himself would save him from being called a flea bag again, and maybe make the adult more favorable towards him. He was just as curious about the green one as the green one seemed to be about him.

"The name's Todd. And there's nothing wrong with me, I can shape shift is all!"

He frowned and listened to the child speak. “Todd huh?” Well, seemed his plan worked. Sorakai relaxed now that the boy wasn’t any sort of threat. “Well, this is Junpei. I’m his father Sorakai.” He explained, getting down onto his knees in front of the foxy child. “We’re out here today having a little photo shoot. I need a few pictures of the little tike.”

Being much closer to the object of his curiosity, Junpei reached out more to grab one of those fuzzy ears. Perhaps that was a bad idea, as he gave it a bit of a tug while letting out a joyous gurgle. Though he didn’t know any better!

Sorakai was quick to pull the boy’s hand away, “Sorry about that.” He said, knowing it was going to cause some pain to the boy. “He’s just a baby.”

Todd listened to Sorakai, but his attention was on the green one, Junpei. He grinned brightly as Junpei reached out to him, but this grin soon turned into one of pain as his ear was grabbed a hold of. He yipped slightly but that was the extent of his retaliation. Junpei was a baby after all, and it wasn't the first time someone had grabbed his ears, though before they were merely props of his jacket, this time they were attached.

" It's s'okay, I'm used to it." He rubbed at his ear gingerly, his smile returning. "You take pictures out here? My daddys never thought of that, they always take me to the mall for pictures." He glanced around curiously, "This seems like a nicer spot! Mind if I stick around?"

He chuckled lightly, once more putting the child down against the tree. “Well, your father must not be a professional. I do the kind of stuff the malls do. And sure, you can stick around. I can take a few of you if you’d like, you’d just have to have your father pick them up later this week.. But right now I want to get a few of the kiddo here before he starts to get fussy again.”

Sitting there, Junpei started to squirm a bit. He wanted to be near the fuzzy one! His face went from that carefree expression to one of annoyance. The fuzzy thing was out of his reach! “Nnn!” He whined, face squinting as he began to let out a cry.

“Shhhhh!” Sora was quick to try and calm the boy. “No reason to cry kiddo, he’s not going anywhere.” He muttered, petting his hair lightly. “Come on… don’t cry. Hey, Todd… sit with him? He might stay quiet that way.”

Todd nodded as he made his way closer to Junpei, grinning brightly at the boy. Though getting closer was an attempt to make the kid happier and also to get a closer look at that ...pool on top of his head? Todd peered at it curiously, his tail flicking before he pulled his attention away from it. It wasn't nice to stare after all.

One blink he was there then the next he was in his fox form again, plopping down next to Junpei and wagging his tail happily. He figured maybe being posed next to a fox would be less weird than next to some strange boy.

The child’s crying persisted until he noticed the fuzzy animal at his side. Tears stopping, he reached over to touch the fuzzy looking thing beside him. What was it? Again his little fingers latched onto an ear and gave it a tug. Smiling and once more giggling, Junpei seemed to forget what had made him cry.

Reaching over, Sorakai quickly cleaned the boy’s cheeks and fixed his hair before taking a step back. There was no way to get the kid’s attention but at least he wasn’t crying. The photos will be good enough until he older and could sit still longer… like that would happen, right?

“Ok.. just try to look cute. I’m sure the two of you can pull it off.” He said, smirking a bit as he removed the camera from his side pouch. It was a durable thing, cannon, and his beloved camera. He started out taking a few simple shots before he moved one way or another, snapping photo after photo. The shutter was heard closing repeatedly as he tried to capture every little twinkle in the boys eyes.

Todd gave a toothy grin while Junpei tugged on his ear, if it made the boy happy, Todd could put up with a few tugs. But his ear was starting to get a little sore, so he came up with an idea that would help Sorakai get the pictures he had wanted to get in the first place.

He wiggled from Junpei's side and made a dash for Sorakai, leaping up onto the man's shoulders and then soon took perch on top of his head. Todd wasn't that large or even heavy in his fox form, so he figured it wouldn't be too much of a hassle for the photographer to handle.

From his new perch Todd gave a small yip to get Junpei's attention and wagged his tail at him in a wave. He hoped it would work to make him laugh at the camera without having Todd in the picture.
