I guess mine could be to be more assertive as a section leader.

All scales major and minor 2 octaves by summer.

Nobody wants to be there except me and like two others, and there was seven of us this past season.

Anyway, my resolutions for all bands this year is to practice and make SOME audition of some kind. Maybe all-district jazz band, since concert was a bust. I also plan to hopefully start taking lessons soon as soon as I figure out what school the guy teaches at now so I can e-mail him.
I also hope to set things off on the right foot for the coming marching band season by actually having tryouts and having us have our music memorized beforehand so we don't have the problem we have for the past few years...

After the first band rehearsal of the new year, I'd like to try to practice at least 6 times a week a MINIMUM of 30 minutes each session.

EDIT: I have stupid major Summatives and exams coming up. (Summatives are HUGE projects that count for 10 or 15 percent of your final mark in a class) So This is going to be pretty hard to do until the stress is gone. crying

To practice more. Seeing as I am playing two instruments next semester, this should be interesting yay carrying around two instruments when my bands are the first two hours0.o

To make regionals on higher then 3rd part, hopefully 1st.

To do really, really good in the big orchestra I'm going into!
I dont want to let them down.
The only reason I'm allowed in it is connections from my father & the fact that I own/play the Contrabass Clarinet. :X
I'll be significantly younger than all of them, too.
I'm 17.
