The Hybrid is going to be a role-play once we figure out the details, which is going to be in this thread. Once the details are figured out I'll change the name of the role-play and make a new thread.

So I think Level 1 characters with 10 across the board using D&D as a core is a good start, what about you?

I was also thinking we could use, but change a bit, an old idea of mine which can be found here

So I think the main difference is going to be that EXP is the gold. So you use EXP to buy you stuff.

Also I think we should have events that level us up rather then EXP.

So... Character starts with : Str 10, Dex 10, Con 10, Int 10, Wis 10, Cha 10
Buying Ability Scores : Each area costs the same. Costs 100 EXP for the first point. 200 for the second point, but the must be bought separately. Every point on ward costs another 100 EXP more then the last. For example Str 11 costs 100 EXP. Dex 12 costs 100 EXP for 11 and another 200 gold for 12 making a total for Dex 300 EXP. It means I'll be spending 400 EXP for this abilities.
We start off with no EXP.

Your Character gets a free feat at level one, like he would. Any extra feats cost 5,000 EXP each.

We then, after making our characters, would give them a super power from Rifts. We could then start role-playing. I think it would be cool if we were in a place called the Void. It would be like the meddle of no where, and everywhere. We could use any race from D&D, Star Wars and D20. I think we'll also use Star Wars Defense system.

I was also thinking we could use some characters, even if they have a Level Adjustment as long as we removed a few things to make them more even.

I know I could make him level one... it's just... could I explain the Void... I am not sure... but either I use him or I go back to my old ways... Which I don't really want to do either... I was thinking about making an elf but again... it brings me close to him... I could just make a human but yeah... This is going to be the hardest part...

I think I am going to make a void character, meaning, one without anything. No Sex, no race, nothing. Once I have made them I'll then pick a race. Kind of like letting the character pick/make himself. Maybe it well work.

Cause of unusual characteristic.
31 = Accidental encounter with "strange stuff." This can be almost anything; industrial waste, chemicals, radiation, alien substance, cosmic energy, or other weird strangeness. [The Void]

Which skills from D20 and Star Wars do you want to add to this?
