Augh, I'm sick of this! Why oh why did Gaia have to come up with so many great, cool items that I want to equip? gonk Unless I find another solution, I'm changing to whatever I want on Jan. 1st. scream
Tektek is awesome and amazing, but I can't do all the poses I want there, b/c you can't change the position of your arms! And the item layering isn't always the same. Plus, I miss getting feedback from random ppl.
And every time I try on an item in Marketplace or Shops, I see it... with a horrid burnt potato skin! Tattoos, eyes, and hair don't even show up, b/c the burnt potato (and my other equipped items) covers them up completely.
I don't want to create a mule account just for my stuff. Then I would never ever ever get on this, my original, account again. And I've had this account for 4 1/2 yrs, so a mule is a very saddening idea. cry
Anyone have a better idea? Go ahead, try to convince me otherwise.

*sigh* On the plus side, this is the longest I've been without changing my avatar. 50 days long.
I could move all my items over to one of my other accounts, but each of my accounts/avatars has a different attitude/theme than this one. stare
Darn it!

I have a mule that I transferred about 90% of my items to, in case I want to change my avatar. I post regularly with this account more and on occasion with my other account, which is no problem for me. Hopefully you're happy with whatever solution you choose in the end, since the most important thing is to be happy.

If you're really tired of it, just change it. The only other options are a mule, and you're not really into that. No one else can make the right decision for you.
I moved almost everything over to my mule and I use that account and this one on a regular basis because I really like this outfit too (and probably always will since I have another account to use as well, & I've had to stop myself multiple times from giving my other account an outfit that looks almost like this one). But I guess it's different for different people.

I do not see the point in keeping a rule of having to keep you skin on - I think it is rediculous - what is the point od dedication if there are only 5 of you left in skins? or if only half of us are?
Exactly why was this guild built to begin with? to support Boo - or to support the Skin Item??
Come on - give us all a break, we can only keep this up for so long and then it will change anyway -
right now it is 57 to 48 to keep the skin
in another month that vote will change to be closer to 50 - 50 and a month after that - it will be more want it to change then now
Man I just got ice skates - I would really like to try them out on the ice -- BEFORE the ice is gone sad

Just get a mule account and transfer your items and such to that one and have that be your other account. You know, so you don't have to change your skin. It's what I did. Only this was my mule lol. My other one has the skin, but it's a secret =O

It says it in the tags of the guild. BOO-skin, support. For people with the skin to support each other. I don't get the big deal with this being a skin only guild. There's plenty of other guilds for BOO supporters.

Think of how rewarding it will be when we eventually get our skins back and we will be free to play around with our avatars~ 4laugh *faints of happiness at the thought of being able to use Demonic style* or we might not get them back, but if you think positively then ..positive things happen? XD

I almost changed my skin today... sad with all the new items, its hard to resist, I had really hoped the Christmas plan was to return the Boo skins, and they haven't. Are we all still making a point to tell Gaia staff our demands? 'Cause if we all just sit here to twiddle are thumbs then what difference does it make how we feel about it unless we make it known to produce changes! I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up. I need to see some end in sight. I need to know that we're really making a difference doing this. I think that most of us craving to change are avatars may feel stronger about this if they KNEW we were actively fighting this. Lets make our demands known!

I understand how you feel - I've been struggling with that same dilemma myself. Many guild members probably know that I waver quite a bit.
My suggestion is this, as I might be doing it myself.
Make an alternate account just for playing around with items. Keep posting and talking to friends on your main, just use one of your mules to make outfits.
I have a female mule I'm thinking I might do this with.

I think I'll also be leaving on January 1st. I really hate this avatar. Keeping it just for the skin, nah. Not really worth it to me anymore. The skin is beautiful to me and I admire all you who have nice looking avatars with the skin on but MY AVATAR SUCKS. I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE.
Besides, this elitist boo-skin guild crap is pissing me off a bit.
We're the BENEVOLENT ORDER. Christ. Shouldn't we be spreading TOLERANCE and stuff instead of hording the shiny white B.O.O. skin?

When it comes to the market place, before you go there go into your my avatar page and take off the skin but DO NOT SAVE... then go into the market place and try on those items! The skin won't show up! It should work!
