How was everybody's Christmas? Any fantastical gifts to report?
My favorite this year was a really nice wooden chess board that my dad made from walnut and some locally cut cherry.

I got a lasagna..
but I just broke down and bought myself an Xbox 360 and Halo: ODST so I can play Halo on Xbox live. and as soon as I get my bank statement I plan on buying an Access Virus C(or possibly B, depending on what I have to spend) synthesizer. Thats right, cool people buy themselves presents.

Yeah, they do. I bought myself a Jackson King V for Christmas a couple years ago wink
But I have a big family, so usually there's more shopping-for-others going on then shopping-for-self.
What is your opinion of ODST? I still haven't moved on to it yet. Still just play Halo 3 on Live.

I haven't got to play it yet, I just literally ordered it off of Amazon before I posted that.
However, from everything I've read and heard from people that its worth the buy, especially if you didn't already own Halo 3. You get this with it/why its worth buying: 1,750 new Xbox LIVE achievement points new weapons new technology an invite to join the Halo: Reach beta in 2010. New campaign three new multiplayer Halo 3 maps: Heretic, Longshore, and Citadel.

The best present I got was a 1 TB external hard drive. Just what every girl dreams of. 4laugh
Then I got useful things like a water boiler and socks. My brother bought me "Strippers vs. Zombies" DVD and my friend got me an old school bubble gum dispenser/machine. You insert a coin, turn the thingy and receive a bubble gum! After it's empty you can refill it. biggrin

I got socks as well. D: Though I asked for them, since I've been throwing away lots of old socks. And this was the first X-mas in years that I didn't receive any candy/chocolate! :O

On the other hand, nobody in my family has ever gotten a tie for Christmas, while my sister and mom both keep getting socks anyway...
