Blood tests came back normal except for low levels of cholesterol and blood fat(?). Got my first month's supply of Norinyl. Start it the first Sunday after I start my next period, whenever the hell that is. I'm guessing I'll get it right in time for New Years if my body wants to play nice. If it doesn't want to play nice, I won't get it until mid January. We'll see.
I go back during the week of placebo pills to see if it's had any negative side effects and if it hasn't, I can get up to a 3-month's supply! biggrin

I hope it works well! Sometimes you have to try a few different types to find one that works best with your body.

Yeah, that's what he said. I hope this works well. My worry is that my body doesn't take to medicine too well to start with.
When I had a kidney stone last year, the doctor gave me a pain shot that should have lasted a good 3-4 hours, but wore off before he was done examining me. He had to give me a second dose before I left for a specialist, and by the time I got to the specialist (not even a 10 minute drive) I needed a third dose.
