Generation: I-2, the devolution.

“Just join us, Marcus.” Said the eldest girl, a voice so calm and reassuring, and yet cold and sharp as ice. “Join us, and you won’t have to die today.”
I glanced around once more, almost in disbelief, at the children surrounding me. Soulless stares and hollow eyes, they watched me with the careful precision of predators ready to pounce on their prey. Every small hand clutched onto a lethal weapon.
The oldest girl inched closer, her jet-black hair casting a deep shadow over her smoky grey eyes. Another of the slightly older kids ran over to stand beside her, a teenage boy with shaggy blonde hair and deep blue eyes. His animalistic gaze was full of hostility as he glared at me. Like a frenzied wolf fighting for his territory. “Alex, as much as I trust your judgment, I don’t believe this one is quite fit for the job. He seems...awfully breakable.”
Alex grimaced in disapproval, her pale face displaying a hint of long-suppressed frustration. “Yeah, well you looked pretty damn pathetic in the beginning, too. If it weren’t for us accepting you out of pity, you would be dead. We were all like that once.” She snarled at the boy in response, her eyes almost seemed to pulse with a cold flame. Alex turned back to me, smiling pleasantly, all anger toward her partner forgotten. At least, on the outside she had forgotten. “Marc, you’re a smart kid, I know you are. Now why won’t you join us...?” She cooed, in a melodic tone. Then, the circle of children began to chant along the same phrase. Over and over, those hollow stares bore into my very core of existence.

•First of all, this RP is invite-only, unless I change my mind later. Meaning, unless I send you a message via PM or profile comment specifically inviting you prior, I will not accept your characters into the RP.
•As stated in small text on the first post, this storyline is completely my own novel idea, and it may not be republished in any manner other than permitted by the original author.

What do we call this world of misery and suffering...?
Earth. In fact, the year is 2209A.D, and humans have still not found peace. No, instead, things have become even more disruptive.
North America has conquered most of the world with it's army, taking claim to any lands they vanquish. The only countries still completely separate are China, Russia, and Germany. All the rest have been swallowed up, and renamed as new parts of America.
Within the newly powerful government of America, there are wars of their own. The president, George Sylviar, is just another corrupt politician seeking power and fame. And, most of the government sides with him, helps to make his visions come true. However, another division of the government has other plans. Plans that could change humanity itself.
Secretly, the other division has begun creating biological weapons to destroy the main branch, and to begin the Devolution in regular society. Wouldn't this all seem rather...noticeable? Nope, not in the least. These bio-weapons are actually nothing more than street gangs of children, children injected with a strength-increasing drug, and trained to kill. Why children? Because no one suspects a kid of being a murderer, and plus, they are far easier to manipulate.
For the last year, these gangs have been operating underground, without ever being caught. From public bombings, to child abductions, to assassinations, they've never failed. And there are hundreds of these gangs running rampant in the cities of North America.
Eventually, they will be the ones to inherit this world, and they will be the ones to change their race...for the worse.

The Gangs
All of the gangs are connected to the government, they each serve a purpose of annihilation. And most of them are allies, with the exception of a few who fight for territory. Most gangs are named after the Greek alphabet, just as an easier form of classification. Here is a list of all current gangs in operation:

Personality: Alex almost has...multiple personalities. Usually she is the strong, brave, kind leader who puts her gang before herself. Other times, usually after getting a fresh injection, she becomes cold, detached, hostile...like an animal.

Preferred weapon: Revolvers/pistols, sometimes curved twin daggers she always has hidden in her clothes.
Any extra abilities: Persuasion; Alex knows very well how the human mind works, and she uses this knowledge to figure out how to persuade others to do what she wants.
Other info: Alex will occasionally disappear from the gang for a week or so, to get a fresh injection...and prevent herself from going berserk in the process.

Any extra abilities: Enhanced eyesight and hearing; after getting his injection, Nick's vision and hearing strength became far more acute, as an odd side-effect.

Preferred weapon: Close-combat styled weapons, such as brass knuckles and boot spikes.
Any extra abilities: Prediction; Damien is very skilled at watching his enemy and predicting their next move, and he can often counteract it. He is also good at camouflaging himself, especially in the dark.

However, she's smart enough to know when to close her mouth, and she can be quiet sly and crafty when she wants too.

Now she hates the government branch she works for, but she is willing to keep quiet and nod her head, for she believes her little girl my make a change... She lives in the building where the children are givin injections; it's safer for her and Rakia that way. She has used numerous drugs on Rakia, most of them permanent. But only enough not to arouse suspicion.
Personality: Brooding and quiet, only really opens up to those she loves, mainly Rakia
Job: Scientist/Drug Developer

Preferred weapon: High quality medical needles, with strong titanium tips. Depending on the situation, they will be filled either with a fatal dose of a powerful drug, or the correct dose of a sedative.
Abilities: Has an unusual understanding of Bio-Chemistry and regular chemistry-- can make most drugs work in which other experts would think is impossible
Other info:Lora has been qualified for Special status-- her skill with chemistry and Bio-chemistry is that good. This gives her access to many top secert projects, which she is sure to check what her drugs will be used on for now on, before she makes them.

Because he was once one of the many bio-weapons created during the wars, and has lived with a cannon embedded in his chest for his entire life.
Personality: Cowardly, easily swayed and even more easily discouraged.

Personality: Aside from a periodic Tomboy phase she seems to be struggling with, C.J. can be considered quiet, shy, and defensive on the outside. However, truly she's a bright girl who's intelligent enough to keep her mouth shut around the higher-ups. See, unlike some, C.J.'s personality remained essentially unchanged after her injection. Sure, she's stronger and faster just like the rest of them, but some core part of her remains, or so she secretly maintains, unaltered. In the past, she was a dry-humored girl who usually hung out with adults, not other kids like herself.

Position: Member (at the start, the newest besides Marc).
Preferred weapon: Commonly a pistol or something. If she can get her hands on it, preferrably something automatic. Otherwise, C.J. will revert to knives and any long, blunt weapon she can find.
Any extra abilities: C.J. remains to this day an excellent climber and hider. Her small size helps her in both regards. She also has an eye for hitting where it hurts. "Hey," she says on the matter, "to stay alive sometimes you've got to fight dirty."
Other info: Due to her small size, she is easily overpowered but also overlooked. You could loosely label stealth as her strong point, though she's no ninja.
Also, her initiation into Omega was quite unwilling. The threat of death was all that incorporated her, and even now she's never graced with complete trust like some are. (Cough: Nick.)

Preferred weapon: Prefers any kind of handgun. will use anything he can find however, even if it's his own fists.

Other info: As of yet, and contrary to popular belief outside of his gang, Thorne doesn't have a soft, warm center. To anyone.

He wasn't fearful, nor joyful, it was just easier for him to kill with the lack of feeling. Now, he acts out of usefulness, picking the choice that benefits him in the long run. Only making few friends, he has more enemies than the stars in the sky.

Any extra abilities: Knows several styles of Judo and wushu, being very fluent in the arts. Prefers judo to anything else. Also, is very handy with most weapons, preferring mid to long ranged firearms, such as .50 cal sniper and AR-15.
Other info: His Luger is customized only to hold more rounds and to make reloading faster, however it retains it's normal appearance. The Luger is only used on certain occasions when he wants a kill to be more personal, or when he is out-matched with no other weapons.
