Jörmungandr is intended to provide the user with a more in depth look at basic grammar, spelling, and roleplaying rules. Jörmungandr is also intended to provide a more advanced training in the Arts of Warfare, several kinds of weapons and what they are capable of, how to train, how to teach, how to be a distinct leader, methods of infiltration and spying, how weapons work, how to understand the basic ideas of weapons, how explosives work, realistic physical movements, and military structure in general. Jörmungandr units are intended to be highly trained individuals with not only the ability to roleplay as an expert, but also to preform all forms of military activities successfully. Guerrilla warfare, Ambush tactics, basic medical training, over-all warfare tactics, and specific roles will be taught at a much higher level, and instead of being briefed over, will actually be taught. In correspondence with the training however, testing will be implemented, to make sure the soldier has learned all that is required.
In addition to this, weapons training, the ability to roleplay leaving a naval vessel and swimming, and the ability to incorporate various styles of naval training into infantry tactics is crucial to being in any Special Forces unit, this force in particular is dependent on pure amphibious infantry capabilities. Jörmungandr In recognition of a need for a Special Forces Unit, the Navy Formed the special forces unit code named "Jörmungandr". Jörmungandr's purpose as Special Forces Unit was intended to provide amphibious warfare capable of delivering mine clearing abilities, pre-established reconnaissance information in an area, and even special target elimination if necessary. Because of the maneuverability and quality achieved by personnel instead of machinery, Jörmungandr is primarily a personnel established group, and has less to do with the power of a ship and more so of the power of independent soldier groups. Despite this, Jörmungandr does exploit the sophisticated, expensive, and complex devices which the NAVY has to offer. WeaponryThe Jörmungandr can use any kind of weaponry known to date. Like most Special Forces units, Jörmungandr is capable of garnishing special Issue weapons, meaning that most kind of weapons needed for any mission can be specially purchased.
The Jörmungandr personal armory has close to unlimited funds in it's category. Although the military does not have unlimited funds, for a small well trained group, a weapon that is even ten times the price is not as expensive in a small group as a large group would be. It differs from a submersible, which has only limited underwater capability. The term submarine most commonly refers to large crewed autonomous vessels; however, historically or more casually, submarine can also refer to medium sized or smaller vessels (midget submarines, wet subs), Remotely Operated Vehicles or robots. The word submarine was originally an adjective meaning "under the sea", and so consequently other uses such as "submarine engineering" or "submarine cable" may not actually refer to submarines at all. Submarine was shortened from the term "submarine boat", and is often further shortened to "sub".
Specifically for Jörmungandr use, miniature submarines, as well as deep sea diving submarines, can be exploited to allow small covert submersibles to transport unit lucratively to another location. Instead of having to expose a large amount, or any amount of special forces unit, instead the submarines or submersibles can be used place the units underwater, and can even be used to hold a large control station secretly from enemy soldiers. This gives the Jörmungandr the ability to transport soldiers discreetly to another location, and allows them to set up a control station inconspicuously without being discovered for extended period of time.
