(Outside, the entrance leads to the picture below.) __________
As soon as one enters the village, they pass through Caverns of Lightning. This is the only way into the village, unless one plans to jump off the bridge that leads to the caverns. You may make it to the center of the city, but be sure that the ANBU will you take you straight to the Caverns broken and beaten. xD)
Leads to: -Entrance Bridge -Hospital, Second Floor -Crystals of Hope

__________
(Inside: The back is the quarters/office of the Raikage, guards, and high-ranking guests staying at the village. The bottom/waterfall leads towards the hospital/medical area, and the trail on the right leads to a rather long series of tunnels that navigate to rest of the Crystals of Hope. Customs would be set up around the front to check newcomers, this place is generally /very/ busy. Kids are often seen chasing around with various gift-shops set up. ANBU guards fill this area the heaviest, seen walking about.)
Items of importance here: -Audience with the Raikage. -Ask/Recieve Missions. -Notable guests stay here in the evenings. -Foreigners MUST pass through receptions to continue to village.

Hitomi stretched and yawned as she woke up in the morning. It was sort of odd do so in the cave, there were no rays from the sun to lick ones face gently. Feeling like crawling under the covers she was just about to do so when she suddenly remembered where she was supposed to go that day. Seeing the Raikage’s letter on her night stand reminded her of her duties. Sighing for she really hadn’t wanted to get out of her warm bed she got up and began to get dressed. It took her a little while to do so for she was having a hard time deciding what she was supposed to wear. Should she simply go in an average kimono or in her ninja attire? Shrugging she finally just opted for her ninja attire, she was a ninja after all. Before leaving Hitomi quickly grabbed something to eat on her way to the Raikage’s office.
It didn’t take her very long to get where she needed to go. Stopping she let herself gaze upon the building in front of her before walking in. Greeting the receptionist Hitomi then made her way up the stairs to the office. Unaware on if she was disturbing anything she knocked gently on the door before she was given permission to enter the room.

Raiden walked around his house with no shirt, minimal clothing, and half open eyes. He lightly scratched his stomach as he reached into his refrigerator and took out some juice. He drank straight from the container and then put it back into the refrigerator. He turned around to get back to his bedroom when he slipped on something that was on the floor. He fell to the floor with a bit of a crash and watched as a light sheet of white slid back and forth through the air. The piece of paper landed on his face. The Raikage.... he read as he scanned the paper. Wait... the Raikage... oh crap He thought as he scrambled to his feet.
Raiden got dressed quickly and ran out the door; slamming it behind him. He sprinted all the way to the Raikage's office and ran straight past the receptionist and into the Raikage's office. "I hope I'm not late!" he blurted out.

Satsuki's heavy lashes slowly gave way to sight as he turned his head, hearing the clicking of feet at the steps of palace. It was rather empty at this time of the season and morning. He had only just released from the morning feast. It must've been the Genin...
He was on his knees, facing his table, scattered with various official papers and letter. Juugodaime tilted his head back to his work, laying down the pen.
With a small sigh, he stood up, nodding to an ANBU on-duty. He opened the door, ever so slowly, sliding it to the side. Satsuki then bowed gently at the sight of the young Fubuki girl. His teal and jade eyes glanced behind her, noting the young Makaze boy running to the structure with all his ability.
He waited a moment, moving his hands behind him. As the two stood side-by-side, he examined them. "Hitomi, Raiden, it's a pleasure to be able to speak with you both.", noted the kage in usual gentle and serene voice.
Slowly raising his chin, he examined the massive cave, thinking. "It's been... a week or so since I spoke to you Raiden, and about four days since we exchanged greetings, Hitomi.", he continued, slowly turning around and leading them into the office. It was a beautiful interior now, adorned with various memoirs of the old village. ANBU masks, Katana, ornaments. This was where the Raikage did most of his work, the first room the palace lead to.
"Too long, I feel.", he finished.
Juugodaime slowly sat down at his table and moved his papers neatly to the side. "However... I cannot say I invited you both to simple conversation."
"Please. Sit down."

Hitomi smiled in greeting at the Raikage and her smile only grew wider as she watched Raiden enter, amused at the image he was making. Nodding in greeting to the male genin the female fubuki then walked further into the office. The Raikage was right, the last time she had seen and/or talk to him in four days, now that she thought about it she hadn’t seen Raiden in a while anyways. For some reason he always seemed a bit shy around her, though she could never really figure out why. When the man spoke again saying that the reason they were brought here was not for chit chat but more like business Hitomi sat down in a empty seat. She had felt like asking Raiden how he had been doing but realized now wasn’t the right time, she could talk to him later after the meeting, assuming he didn’t disappear. Silent she waited for the Raikage to continue curious to what he had brought them here for.

A week? had it really been that long? Raiden wondered as he thought about it. Okay so maybe he had been to lazy to go to some of the village meetings but how was it that he hadn't talked to the Raikage in a week? Was it the time that he was spending at the hot spring? Well before you jump to conclusions about Raiden at the hot spring he's been taking longer and longer naps by a steam vent that just so happens to be particularly close to the women's section of the hot spring. Any rumors you might have heard about him looking at the girls is completely absolutely... well maybe he's used a bunshin or two before.... Well he is a curious boy...
Anyway it seems that it really had been a week since he spoke to the Raikage.
"Yeah, I suppose it hAS" Raiden said as his voice cracked when he saw Hitomi nod at him. Raiden quickly sat down and after regaining his normal social outwardness he threw his feet up onto the now empty spot on the Raikage's desk and leaned back. "So what's going on boss man?" he asked.

Juugodaime looked at the boy's feet, his face still reflecting the same positive emotion as before. His lips parted once more as he put his hands on the table, the tips of pale and slender fingers taking a parchment. Satsuki winced ever-so-slightly as his eyes soaked in the various graphs of information.
After a few seconds, he raised his chin up some sighing, setting the paper aside. "The village needs to maintain a margin of profit to sustain our exponential progress. For this, I need to establish a new cell--", his graceful voice broke as he thought for a moment. "A new cell, which you two have been placed in. Now~", he started calmly once more, putting his palms together and glancing at the two.
"We are currently looking at the options for a third gennin. As for your sensei, he will be busy for a short amount of time... therefore, I will oversee your first few missions personally."
The Raikage smiled then. "I must apologize that I'm pushing the troubles of adulthood on adolescence, but the Lightning Daimyo promised us even more supplies if we can complete just a few more missions every month. Hitomi. Your father is doing the work of about three head ninja to help out, so I'm sure you've seen how stretched thin our resources are. Raiden, you've seen first-hand with the chuunin on hunting-and-gathering missions, but with a cell, you'll be doing much more. "
The hair over his forehead slowly fell over his visage as the man looked down. "I chose this time, because the council and daimyo voted me to go on break. I must rest for a bit, they say I work too much.", Satsuki finished with a chuckle. "What are the two of you's thoughts on the matter?"

Hitomi barely noticed Raiden’s voice crack, she hadn’t really been paying much attention. Though she was amused at the way he was sitting, as if he was in his own home. Sure the Raikage was an easy going type but Hitomi would never allow herself to do such a thing, it hadn’t been the way she was raised. Shifting her attention to the man she listened to the reason they were here. A new cell with her and Raiden? Tilting her head a bit she glanced at him through the corner of her eye to see his reaction. Not only that but they were going to be tough by the Raikage himself, at least for a while. Not everyone got this chance. He was right about her father, he had to do more then his share. She had helped him plenty of times to know.”No I do not mind at all,” she replied shaking her head a little bit. Looking at Raiden she spoke to him next. ”What about you?”

Raiden felt a surge of heat in his cheeks, as he heard the words Hitomi and same cell. "I uh, I don't have a problem being with Hitomi-chan" he said with the chan part at almost a whisper. While he was nervous around most girls Hitmoi for some reason effected him much much more. I can't beleive it I get to be in the same cell as Hitmoi-chan! He couldn't stop thinking. It was probably because of her likeness to snow. Raiden found her to be cool and delicate like a snow flake but she was also strong as a blizzard which was something he admired in girls, and it was something he didn't see in many of the other girls. This is going to be great, I get to train with the Raikage and I get to be with Hitomi! so cool! Raiden become so caught up in his thoughts that he had actually pushed off of the desk and fell over backwards out of the chair. He quickly rolled to his feet and said "So what's next?" as he rubbed the back of his head.

The Raikage smiled, watching the kids interact. The youth were so energetic even when such a tragedy struck only three years ago. His teal and jade eyes looked to the table, his pale and weak hands searching for a particular folder.
With a motion of his hand, he opened it, letting some papers fall out. "I feel the best method of training is some in the field... so... how about a B-ranked mission.", his gentle voice still fluid as he turned the paper towards them. "It's marvelous training... we may even find some of the mercenaries who are unlucky enough to be clinging to the delusion that Kumokagure can still be taken advantage of~"
These had been common missions undertaken by jounin, they were still cscowering the mountain side. Measures were taken to stop them, and now it seemed like training to stop them? The Raikage looked to Raiden, then glanced to Hitomi. "Have the two of you gone to Blacksmith Olzai for your swords...?"

Hitomi's soft smile never left her face the whole entire time. Raiden didn't seem to be bothered about the decision, he was maybe even excited but the only think that gave her that idea was the fact he fell down. An act that had caused her to laugh out loud amused, a bigger smile growing on her face. When she laughed to put her hand in front of her mouth, it was a soft laugh not a loud obnoxious one. He was quick to roll on his feet though, standing straight back up and asking what was next. Smile returnign to normal she paid attention once more to the Raikage as he began to speak. Pay back on the mercenaries? Could they handle such a thing?

The mercenaries? more like bounty hunters. Raiden thought. He hated them deeply, due to the fact that they wanted to kill him for no greater a reason that what was in his blood. His kekkei genkai was something they wanted eradicated and Raiden wouldn't let a bloodline that was over several hundred years old die out. He grinned slightly, That sounds like the perfect kind of training Boss Man." he said. This was Raiden's chance to make sure that they never came after him again. After the Raikage's question about swords Raiden changed his tone slightly. "Well i have my father's sword but i don't have one that was made for me personally." he told the Raikage. The sword worked well enough but it was made for his father's abilities and as such it was not a perfect match for Raiden. For most people in Raiden's shoes they would probably be saddened by remembering their lost father but Raiden had gotten over his loss thanks to the support of the villagers that his parent's had saved. So he had lost his biological father but had gained over a dozen father's in his stead.

The Raikage stood up then, slowly walking across the room. There was a slight limp in his steps, the usual..
Everyone in the village knew of the Raikage's increasing muscle deterioration. It was a secret in the village, no one told outsiders that he was sick (for obvious political and safety reasons.), but it was known, and people often did what they could for him. It may have been the use of his Kekkei Genkai, or simply that he was human, and prone to sickness.
Father's sword... his father's...
"Tools... a blacksmith cannot make a sword with a kunai. He needs the right tool, something that matches his design..."
Yuria turned his head ever-so-slightly, his piercing teal and jade eyes staring at Raiden. "You shouldn't be trying to make swords with a kunai... you will need a hammer."
He turned around and slowly walked down the steps, sloppily waving away an ANBU at the door . "We must get you both swords that match your bodies, your styles.. even your personalities in a way. There is a reason all of the ninja in Kumokagure should be able to fight on-par even with the famed samurai in the land of iron when it's all spoken for. It is our ninja way, to defend at the tip of a katana."
"Your academy teachers would've talked to Olzai, if you haven't. Let's head to the armory-- oh. And Raiden~ Please grab Yagura."
The legendary katana adorning a wall of the office.
(Yagura is the Raikage's infamous katana. He carries it a lot, even uses it as a cane. Here )

Hitomi watched silently as the Raikage walked and limped a bit. Even though her father had tried many times to stop the illnesses effect but failed everytime. The only thing he was able to do was slow it down and that was temporary. Standing up Hitomi shook her head. "No I don't have a sword yet, I haven't gotten to it.." Hitomi had been delaying on getting one for quite some time, she didn't know if she had it in her to use one. Most of her clans techquies were taijutsu based.
Raiden seemed excited about the mission, she wasn't that much. She didn't have much of a desire of getting back at the mercenaries but it had to been done or else they'd come back. Turning she began to slowly walk to the door and head towards Olzai's place.

Raiden watched the Raikage with almost a sense of pity. His plasma was very similar to Ranton but it came with a much heavier price. "A Hammer... Raiden said as he trailed off into thought. He pictured himself in chibi form running around smacking people on the head with a large hammer that gave off discharges of liquid lightning. It went pretty well until he tripped and the hammer spun into the air until it came down square on his head. Raiden snapped out of it when the Raikage told him to grab Yagura. Without hesitation Raiden ran over lifted the sword from it's wall restraints. As Raiden walked toward the Raikage one could see something behind Raiden's eyes. It was the look his eyes carried before the avalanche. Back then he had been more like what the ideal shinobi is, and even now that part of him was still always present beneath the new care free Raiden.
"Hey, let's get going to Olzai I want to see what weapon he thinks I should use!" Raiden said enthusiastically as the look in his changed.
