I have an online girlfriend, but it makes me feel bad that I have no lover to spend the holidays with. Someone to exchange gifts with and all that. Am I just being selfish wishing I had someone with me when I really do like the girlfriend I have?

No, you're not being selfish. You can't be held responsible for how you feel, but you are responsible for what you chose to do in response to those feelings.
If you feel like your needs aren't being met, then you are allowed to reevaluate your situation. You like your girlfriend, but she is far away, and long-distance relationships are often tricky.
If you find someone available closer than her, that you know personally, who you feel has potential to fulfill your needs, then by all means go for it.
