 ALTERNATE GUILD WAR 2k9: z!CB Style!
IS NOW OVER.Planning one last thing for everyone on the 1st of January for about 1 hour, whether they were involved in the event or not. If I arrive in time: Watch out for the Alternate-made thread.Please go to the Alternate 2k9 X-Mas thread for details on how to participate.
You may not participate before becoming enlisted in the event.
As further requirement, you may not participate unless you have the minimum 50 posts.Read all the posts by Blaze on this page carefully, and follow every direction if you want to participate, 'kay?
You'll be glad you did, because your efforts will be null otherwise.

-Rules-This thread is meant to simulate the 2k9 DemonBusters page. Remember the Portal and the Spear and all that Freudian stuff? Yeah, that.
Basically:
- Each person in the thread will post in their designated color: Overseer colors or Sentinel colors.
DO NOT FORGET TO USE THESE AND DO THIS ACCURATELY. Your points will be considered null otherwise.
- Each side's members will be given a designated number of points they are worth, but basically, each person is worth one point. BUT. You'll want to see the special rules.
- Every time someone from the other side posts, your points will be null, depending on how much each of you are worth. And every time you post, their points will be null depending on how much each of you are worth.
You basically are trying to cancel out each other's point total while gaining your own.
- You may only post once per page. Remember. Once. Otherwise, you just subtracted from your team total
- Your goal? Reach 30 points. Your team will gain 30 points.
- The game will restart once you reach 30 points.
- If your mind works differently than mine (probably a good thing) and you need clarification:Blood Assassin 32 The total points starts at 0 and each time a post in made by a team, then the points move in their direction. If the points are in the opposite teams side, then instead of points going towards your team, they are subtracted from the opposing team. Once the points stabilize back at 0, then they will begin to move in your team's section. * Just think of it in normal point total terms, 'k?
If you want a good example of this game, get someone to find the damn Boys Vs. Girls thread. (*COUGH*LittleMissFortune... can't find it because she never looked at it while on this computer*COUGH*)Personal Points:
- These points will go to adding to your Rank; they are separate from team points.
- Each person's post is worth 1 point.
- Last person on every page to win their team the points wins 2 points for their personal total.
- Last person to win a round wins 1 points for their personal total.
- Why yes, you can get negative points.
- If you've read all the rules, for your first post, put "I read all the rules, Goddammit." You'll get your first personal point.
Plus, your points after will actually count for something. Always a bonus.
- There is a second event to add to these points. Still organizing until it's feasible. Though, we might go without.
-Another way to lose points?
- No deleting posts or editing in terms of the event. Deleted posts can be tracked from the crew panel and any posts that are deleted by users who post them will receive a warning and (possible personal points deduction) if you delete a second post, then you will receive a higher fine of (personal points deduction), and a 3rd deleted post will have you blacklisted from the event. Same goes to edited posts. Instead of editing your first post, wait for the next page to post. First few people who saw the original rule, it's okay, but remember not to edit your posts anymore.
- No posting with mule accounts. Posting on the same page with mule and main accounts is strictly forbidden, you will receive one warning and a fine of (personal point total here), the second offense is a blacklist for both you and your mule accounts, along with any other accounts you control.
-These are mostly to prevent sides from sabotaging each other. Just say no.
Still trying to decide when the event will actually end. Many members are on break, and it's definitely goin' past Christmas. (Hell, Halloween event went waaay past Halloween anyway.) Mods--If you have time to check if people are doing this correcting/tally points/etc in your free time, the Alternates will wuv you forever, since they're constantly getting dragged off the computer.

-Special Rules- These may change from day to day or hour to hour. This is the only rule in play:
Rule has been abolished. Hey remember when all you fools fled to the pink side? Yeah.
Every post by an E.L.F. is now worth two points for the team total, thanks to the uneven numbers.
You can thank me for it later, when you kick some pink a$%.
Most likely, unless the numbers even out, this rule will remain in play throughout the event.
Use any baww to your advantage and use that energy to win, okay? E.L.F. honestly needs this advantage.

-Rewards/Rank-What kind of war doesn't reward its players and give you a nice, badass prize? Most likely there will be a top prize of art,
a second place of 100k,
a third place of a December letter,
and a fourth place prize of a Frigid or Raging Night Jewel.Now, if you're paying attention. I mentioned your first post earlier? Strikethrough the curseword in the aforementioned phrase, and add "goshdarnit". (; You'll earn another personal point. Continuing on that last thought. ... However, for those who don't win the top spots, there are some semi-decent sketches to the winning side-- but only to members who achieve a minimum number of points. We'll say 4 points. That means you'd have posted at least 4 times in this thread. We're currently contacting a willing(?) artist. ninja And, of course, taking volunteers if anyone is good at any kind of useful art. sweatdrop

A note: If you did not put the required phrase(s) in your first post, too bad. Put it in your next post.
People are bad at reading and I'm lazy. They just won't get the personal points if they haven't put it in their first post or haven't talked to me before I posted this.
It is okay if you post more than once a page NOT IN TEAM COLORS, so long as I don't see you double-posting to earn yourself personal points, and you don't do it excessively, etc. If I see that I just won't add anything to your personal points total.
