Objective:
There are 10 fictional characters, each from a different bestselling fantasy novel (or series of fantasy novels), and 10 wishes. Match every character to the thing that that he/she wishes for. Whoever correctly matches the most wins!
Deadline:
PM your guesses to me by Saturday, the 23th of January. After that date I will post the correct answers and the winner in this thread.
Hints:
Some, but not all, of the characters got their wishes by the time that the series they were in ended.
In a few of the wishes, I give the character’s gender away. wink
None of the characters are obscure; they all have leading roles in all of their respective series, and each book (or series of books) is bestselling in the U.K. and U.S. This means that if you haven’t heard of some characters (I’d expect you to know a few of them since you’re in a reading guild for fantasy rofl ) you could *cough* type-their-names-into-an-internet-search-engine *cough* to find out what book they’re from, and reading a summary of the novel(s) ought to help you make an educated guess about their wishes.

PM me if you have a question. I tried my best to be certain that none of the wishes applied to more than one character, but I could have made a mistake. This might shock you, but I do make those once in a while. lol Just be aware that I won’t give you more hints than I already have.

Everyone that enters earns 5 points! You should enter even if you can only guess a few. I doubt that anyone will get ALL of them right, so you shouldn’t hesitate to enter if you don’t know them all. cool
The one person that gets the most correct earns an extra 10 points and receives his/her choice of:

In the event of a tie, both people earn the extra 10 points, and I’ll roll dice to determine which of them gets his/her choice of a book.
