Okay, so the basic plan is to make a coalition of all Socialist Political Parties so we may stump the Big 2 (Dems and Repubs). Here is our constitution.

Constitution of the United Equality Party
Preamble:
IT HAS been known since the division of Judea by Aulus Gabinius that the strategy of greed is to divide and conquer.
ONE EXAMPLE is the Spanish Civil War, when the Spanish Republic was fighting against Francisco Franco’s Fascist “Falangists”. The Republicans were divided into the Bourgeoise Republicans, the Trotskyists (P.O.U.M.), the Anarcho-Socialists (C.N.T / A.I.F.), Social Democrats (P.S.O.E.), and Stalinists (P.C.E.). This harsh division allowed Franco to win.
THIS HAS BEEN THE CASE in the U.S.A for a long period of time, except this time, there are two enemies dividing and conquering, these being the Republican and Democratic parties.
THESE TWO PARTIES have two different ideologies (conservatism and liberalism), however, both kiss their capitalist tongues to divide us and conquer the elections.
THEREFORE, this constitution is written to unite all socialist parties into a large coalition in order to bring socialism to America, in the spirit of democracy.

Article I, Aim and Ideal of the Party:
I.The Aim of the United Equality Party is to unite all socialist and environmentalist parties, guerrilla organizations, and unions into one giant political organization to put forward candidates for State and Federal Government Positions in the United States of America.
II.Our common ideal is equality, which is achieved through socialism.
III.Socialism may be interpreted as worker’s control of means of production (factories, farms, businesses, mines) and public facilities (schools, roads, parks, hospitals), while maintaining individual control of personal property (CDs, clothes, food, small weaponry, intellectual property). Socialism furthermore wishes to distribute necessities (food, clothes, medicine, shelter, education) equally and freely to all of mankind. We (socialism) also wish, overtime, to achieve a society free of class struggle, oppression, greed, and money.

Article II, Budget of the Party:
I.The budgetary aims of the party are to raise incentive among the working class, thus increasing national production, and spend our money made first on necessities for the people, then on luxury.
II.The way we will achieve the first aim is by dividing currency into the categories of Necessity, Tax, and Luxury. This will keep the ability to equally distribute necessity, while the categories of tax and luxury will raise incentive to work and also keep the ability to reward those who work harder.
III. The way we will achieve the second aim is, pretty much self explanatory.

Article III, Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Party:
I.The domestic policy of our party may be summed up in one phrase: “People before profits”.
II.The foreign policy of our party may also be summed up in a single maxim: “Civil rights has no borders”. Basically, we will not trade with a certain a certain country unless/until it has good civil rights and a democratic system.
III.We the United States under the United Equality Party, wish to create a 5th International of Workingmen and Workingwomen to advance dictatorship of the proletariat (that is, where the proletariat controls means of production via democratic centrism) and human rights. And just as we said before, we will not allow socialist parties that mistreat their fellow human-being or animal.
IV.Here ends the constitution of the United Equality Party.

So, who's with me? Oh, and I'll add ammendments at request.

Comrade, I'm all for the idea of not seeking violence. Violence is not the sole means of getting one's point across, and without a message, violence is JUST violence. If you and a group of wealthy enough scoialists were able to actually market your ideas and gain some outstanding enough acclaim, and I'm speaking at least 45-50% of the political votes, and they still pull some bullshit about a socialist candidate running for office, that would seriously trigger a revolution, I'd believe, because people would be getting stared dead in the face during the most important American's duty and told "you don't matter"... it'd be very indignifying to them, and violence would ensure, giving them a reason and a message to act upon... at least, thats my opinion.

Alot of other comrades see only violence as necessary, but I honestly think things like this gains awareness and makes people question the way things are. Who knows, maybe the system would even let a socialist run for president, seriously so, and we can see them cheat the votes when they do, and when they do, make them regret it.

It's not about Reform or Revolution, it's about UNITY.
I mean, I get the point Zed, that it would probably become corrupt and a violent revolution would ensue, but did I ever say I was going to get WEALTHY socialists? No, I said socialists of all parties. And plus, with the invention of the Internet, I can get the ideas across for practically FREE. How do you think Obama got elected? PEOPLE ARE GONNA LOOK AT STUFF LIKE FACEBOOK! He didn't need those big-scale ads on TV! He used them, but his followers also made use of Facebook and Sheperd Fairey already had his "Andre/OBEY Giant" line, so he figured, "why not Obama?".
I'm not saying I supported Obama, but internet grassroots is a phenomenon that can't be ignored.
Thank You.
I wonder what Gracchus is gonna think about this...

I like it, myself. I can *understand* it, which is the weird part x_x
I mean... as smart as I am (I don't think so, however T.T) I have a hell of a problem reading stuff and understanding it. >_<
I got this =D

I'm all for that.

Good point.

So we, the socialists/communists unite against them?
Quote:

So they are united in the ideologies that matter. Unfortunately there are so many types of Socialism/Communism, with differing ideas, that this will be pretty difficult
Quote:

Guerilla warfare organizations? The media will have a field day with that.
Quote:

I agree.
Quote:

Wat? What about the doctors, or the physicists, they get some control too.

Socialism furthermore wishes to distribute necessities (food, clothes, medicine, shelter, education) equally and freely to all of mankind. We (socialism) also wish, overtime, to achieve a society free of class struggle, oppression, greed, and money.
Money occurs whenever exchange of commodities takes place. And there will be exchange of commodities in any society.
Quote:
Article II, Budget of the Party:
I.The budgetary aims of the party are to raise incentive among the working class, thus increasing national production, and spend our money made first on necessities for the people, then on luxury.
Putting the bourgeois in labor would increase production significantly more than what you're proposing. The same can be done with government officials(Anarchists only).
Quote:
II.The way we will achieve the first aim is by dividing currency into the categories of Necessity, Tax, and Luxury. This will keep the ability to equally distribute necessity, while the categories of tax and luxury will raise incentive to work and also keep the ability to reward those who work harder.
Or you could cut peoples wages if they don't work hard enough, and keep normal wages equal.(although accounting for differences of ability, it would be pretty hard to determine who is working hard and who isn't)They both work
Quote:
Article III, Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Party:
I.The domestic policy of our party may be summed up in one phrase: “People before profits”.
I would hope so.
Quote:
II.The foreign policy of our party may also be summed up in a single maxim: “Civil rights has no borders”. Basically, we will not trade with a certain a certain country unless/until it has good civil rights and a democratic system.
This is pretty given. Though it will take a while for us to stop buying our products from China

Won't happen.

The Stalinists and Maoists split cuz they can't stand each other.

The Trots won't work with anyone and no one will work with the Trots.

No one's orthodox enough for the Leninists.

No one likes Anarachists (except Skri, we love him).

Socialists are wussy reformists.

Need I say more?

Maoists are "Stalinists"

Actually I actually see the unification of various Marxist-Leninist parties very possible simply because there is little to argue over and they tend not to get caught up over petty history questions as the Trots do. But as it stands modern anarchism sucks harder than ever and Socialists are wussy reformists..

The Party for Socialism and Revolution (PSL) can be based of the alliance because the PSL is very active. I think is the only leftist party that is putting candidates in national and local elections.

The big problem of the alliance will be getting the environmental groups and the Green Party to join.

this is a good point, but it would be hard to make a big coalition of socialist parties... though it would be nice.

The Green Party has Socialism on it's platform. ALF and ELF will be pretty quick to join. The PSL is a good idea. I try to get my parents to vote for them or the SWP, since i'm only 13, but they is all like blind to the Democrats. It's pointless, really. oh well, just 5 more years. I have a facebook group now, btw, but only my relatives have joined.

Aren't Maoists Stalinists? question

I'd work with a Trot.

The overly orthodox Leninists are... Oh, alright, they can be a pain, but not all Leninists are like that.

I like me. sad Anarchist Communism desires to create the ideal of Pure Communism like every other Socialist. We just emphasize the Libertarian aspect of it in our politics rather than the Left aspect, though both are equally important. Essentially the goal of Communism is reached from a grassroots bottom-up route rather than the Leninist State Socialism's method of going top-down, which, in my opinion, won't work well because power corrupts. Lenin was great in that he was not very corrupt (see his quote about there being no freedom when there is a State).

If you are on this guild then you probably are a Socialist. Socialism is the absence of private property. Leninists, Maoists, Stalinists (evil), Titoists, Castroists, Guevarists, Ancoms, etc. are all Socialists. You speak of those who use only the term Socialism. They are reformists, yes, and I strongly disagree with reformism, but they are certainly not cowardly ("p***y" meaning cowardly is INCREDIBLY sexist). Socialism is quite radical, and they face plenty of opposition from the Right. We are just more radical than they are (that doesn't make us better).

EDIT: I fully support the creation of the United Equality Party. Have you set up a website for it? That would help bring it attention.
