For the second straight year, they've changed the entry criteria for the Bud Shootout. No, they're not going back to pole winners. stare Read it here at Nascar.com

Is it me or did the field get even bigger? It's 28 guys. That's more than half the field for a regular race.

As I remember last year the field was 28 cars too. They had the top 6 from each manufacturer, plus a wild card if I'm not mistaken.

In all honesty though, of all those drivers I only can see at most 25 getting rides for it. And I only see about 21 or 22 actually starting it.

Lorin, (Jamie's old sad spotter..) will be spotting for Elliot! I was talking to Lorin, and apparently, Elliot should be in the car for it.. cause Lorin is spotting for that race, for the 6 car.. and yeah.. Lorin is still at Roush with Donnie, with the 6 car sad

even though there is 28, it is a very good 28 for the most part. And i agree that some of them are not going to be able to make it. And yes, there was 28 last year. This format is better than last year so the pole winners was the best.
