Aiyana is a really big masochist. Her and her "partner-in-crime", so to say, were fighting just to test out her new powers. Then things went wrong and his move had suddenly killed her. He tried to use his powers to bring her back, but instead is just turned her soul into another (Rosetta). He thought he had failed to bring her back, but he technically hadn't.

Pretty much reincarnated. Her soul fully became someone else. Her soul has a fake memory now, just a screen to hide her past, and is leading a different life now. I'm not sure what to call it.
