Are you a new type?
For a small price of 1000 gold you can be tested to see if you're a new type or not. If you are a new type you will get a little symbol on your tag, plus the ability to purchase suits in the future that only new types can pilot.
All new types will be posted in a list on this post. If you are "not" a new type, and have been tested you will also end up on this list, except in the tested for not being a new type...
Weather you're a new type or not counts on a random dice roll. With a 50/50 chance of you being a new type or not...

Luckily for those that aren't new types. Our scientists have also found a way to make artificial new types. But this process costs a little extra, and we have to make sure you aren't a new type first... People who are Artificial Newtypes have increasingly better abilities, despite a terrible pain they sometimes get randomly. However our tests show that someone who is naturally a new type will be unable to have the operation done.
