This is an UPGRADE (no crits/remarks on the student please, he has already been accepted) quest for my civilian, eighteen-year-old Ignacio Araya to become Sailor Encke, Senshi of Plasma.
Plasma
As a note, I traded my chibi to LP (that she's been sitting on forever), who had an idea for a chibi, for her male senshi, which I had an idea for. Hence why this is a Template Raffle quest; this has already been cleared with Natsube.

Nicknames: It's simply 'Nacio.' If someone calls him Nacho, the other diminutive for Ignacio, he will probably punch them. He's not a snack food... unless that's a good thing. In which case he's totally their delicious Nacho.
Gender: Male
Age: Eighteen
Birthday: June 3rd, 1992
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
"I Think" -- Geminis are all about energy and mutability. They tend to be spontaneous and noncomittal, but amusing and highly intelligent.
Blood Type: Type O
Typical Positive Traits: Agreeable, sociable, optimistic
Typical Negative Traits: Vain, rude
Fav. Food: Ignacio loves saimin. Saimin is a traditional Hawaiian noodle soup containing thin noodles and ingredients such as ham, chives, and onions among other things. This type of noodle soup is also the only type of noodle soup he will eat; he thinks of everything else as just a cheap attempt to be Saimin.
Hated Food: Nachoes. Damned things, why must they exist? He doesn't hate them for the taste--no, he actually doesn't mind how tortilla chips taste--Ignacio just hates their name! People calling a snack by what was once a honorable nickname is just a little insulting to the narcissist.
Gift:
Jack of all Trades -- Most people who apply to Barren Pines are spectacularly talented at one thing. Ignacio is talented in a lot of things. He can shoot some hoops, he can do his math homework, he can sketch out architectural plans to an oddly-shaped building, and he can whip up a decent apple pie. Name it, Ignacio has probably done it at some point. In fact, he's probably done it all in one day. Ignacio is an extremely well-balanced individual when it comes to his talents, sucking in skills from all hemispheres of his brain and all popular categories of study. Once he realized that he understands everything fairly well, Ignacio began to use his abilities often, thriving the most in environments that let him draw from all sectors of his knowledge and talent. What a better place for that than Barren Pines, a school that would no doubt adapt to his many talents?
Note, being a Jack of all Trades does not make him gifted in the sense that he is amazing at whatever it does. It does make him gifted in that he can do almost everything without much struggle. (As much as he would like to make everyone believe that he's Albert Einstein, Adonis, and Shakesphere in one perfect marbled statue.)
Current School: Meadowview High School, will be graduating mid-year (December) with fellow Barren Pines students.
Hobbies:
"Bored with that? Get a new one!" -- Ignacio can't focus on anything too long, and consequently, his hobbies tend to be rather inconsistent and varied. In fact, getting a new hobby seems to have almost become a hobby of his own. He sits down, or goes out, or takes a bus to find new, exciting things that he hasn't tried yet or perhaps hasn't tried in that way before. He researches new things on an almost daily basis. He drops what he's doing in favor of looking for something new. And he admits to finding the search just as fun as the temporary excitement he gains from what new things he tries.
"Whodunit?!" -- While Ignacio's interests do fluctate (and quite often at that), there are at least a couple things that have remained constant. Ignacio loves 'Whodunit' books. He loves taking the events provided to him like a sponge and quickly piecing them together to know exactly who killed Mrs. Green. He'll read entire Whodunit novels in one sitting without becoming bored for a second, a rare state for the ever-distracted one to ever be in. He loves the twists and turns, especially when even he didn't quite see them coming. Hell, he even loves telling others whodunit stories and seeing if they can get to the answer quicker than he had.
He also loves a good game of Clue, but admittedly, he can irritate the other players when his mind snaps to the answer a tad too quickly...
"Improvise!" -- Perhaps falling in line with his outgoing tendencies and his lack of any ability to focus, Ignacio loves to improvise. He loves to go out there and make people laugh in whatever way happens to come into his mind at the time. He seems to have gotten surprisingly good for it, and flies with being told to do whatever he wants with only loose guidelines.
In fact, he likes applying this to any situation. Any situation with only loose guidelines with creativity encouraged is a situation he absolutely flies with because it appeals to his type of easily bored, charismatic personality.
Virtues:
"The answer is obvious." -- Ignacio has become extremely good at seeing the bigger picture in any situation where most people would simply focus on what is in front of them right at that moment. They see a particularly nice tree, he sees a particularly beautiful forest full of colors and shapes. Sometimes, small events that make no sense to others come together in his head for a perfectly reasonable explanation that actually makes sense. He can actually do this fairly quickly, too, once he has enough information to work with. Ignacio draws from all parts of his knowledge to come to a fantastically convenient answer.
"Nothing bothers Tony Romo." -- Replace 'Tony Romo' with 'Ignacio Araya' and Ignacio's perfect image comes to light. Nothing seems to get a rise out of Ignacio--except for a few minor, silly things, that is (don't call him Nacho!)--and he mostly keeps himself very collected and easy-going. Even traumatic situations don't seem to really shake him that much, and while this could also be linked to his ego, Ignacio seems to have a general sense of laid back nonchalantness that keeps him from being truly bothered by much of anything. If anyone's looking for a calm summer breeze and doesn't mind the flirting that comes with it, Ignacio is the perfect man.
 "I'm born for this, trust me." -- It's hard to get Ignacio to focus. Really hard to get Ignacio to focus. This being said, when he sees the need or the mood strikes him, Ignacio makes an excellent leader. He can unite a group under one banner and send them to victory. Ignacio is a dominant, multi-talented, intelligent, (over)confident, and rather casual figure. These traits turn out to go together surprisingly well when it comes to a leading figure, and so when the mood strikes, Ignacio is one of the best options to head a group.
Flaws:
"I'll totally get--Oh, look, a fly!" -- Ignacio, though talented at most things, cannot seem to focus on any of it. His mind wanders easily. If he sits down at a computer to get work done, chances are he'll work for a half-hour before browsing the internet for three. He's prone to daydreaming and distraction on an almost constant basis, even during emergencies. Along the same line, even when Ignacio wants to finish something, he will get bored quickly. He'll start one project and decide two hours later that it bores him to tears and he should go do something else instead now. The pattern continues until he ends up at the beginning of the list and goes through it again... but the list of things he is interested in at any given moment randomly fluctuates.
"Hey baby." -- Ignacio has this little problem where he thinks he's Adonis and that all the ladies and gentlemen just want him. If they're dating someone else, they're wishing it was Ignacio. If they're single, they're single because they're yearning for Ignacio. He makes no effort to hide that he believes he is Adonis, and comes onto everything (human) that moves because he assumes they're just going to accept. And accept eagerly. And if they don't accept eagerly, really, they're just playing hard to get. After all, Ignacio is a master of poetry and song. Where can he go wrong?
"I'm immortal!" -- A strong ego has given Ignacio an overinflated sense of his own safety. No one can kill Ignacio. He can outwit everyone, outperform anyone, and apparently out-exist everyone. This one happens to be of the belief that he is in no danger, ever, no matter what he seems to be getting himself into. This high sense of confidence gives him high amounts of courage when faced with drastic danger, but it also gives him a lack of concern for his own safety since Ignacio simply assumes this safety is guaranteed forever (though, all things considered, it's probably quite the opposite).

Ignacio does not appreciate the mocking implications that he is attention deficit. He just can't stay still too long. You'd be bounding around from one thing to another too, if you had this much going for you.IF SENSHI Senshi: Sailor Encke, Senshi of Plasma Plasma:...... ...... Encke:...Encke is a periodic comet with the shortest period of any comet (three years). ...The orbit of Encke is frequently perturbed by the inner planets. ...Encke may be the origins of several meteor showers such as a Taurids. ...The comet's last perihelion was August 6th, 2010. ...The comet's next perihelion is November 21st, 2013. Concept: I'm only concerned that a few things show up in his outfit! First off, I would insist that his brooch is the comet symbol: Comet SymbolI'd prefer for his colours to be based off of the purple-blue and hot pink in this picture of this Plasma Lamp: Plasma Lamp. I'd like his outfit to be more in the direction of a jumpsuit! As plasmas are generally strongly attracted to magnetic fields, if there is a strong magnetic force near Encke or his adversary, chances are his attack will go off course towards the magnetic field instead. Attack #1 (Senshi) "Encke Power, Make-Up!""Ionization!" (Offensive / Attack) - Encke points his left pointer finger forward at his adversary and shouts, "Ionization!" Suddenly, the air around the adversary sounds like it is crackling, and before long, small purple-blue sparks begin to hit their body, causing the sensation of small shocks all over them. Effectively, the air around them has become conductive and ionized, like plasmas. ( Usage: As a sailor senshi, this is usable once per battle. At later stages he may use this version of the attack twice per battle. Duration: The air around the adversary remains this way for about thirty seconds. Range: About a ten foot radius around the adversary is affected. Weaknesses: There is always the possibility for the adversary to just make their way out of the ten foot radius! While it does not effect him as badly this time (it seems he has developed a resistance of sorts), if Encke is within the ten foot radius, he will also feel the shocks and begin to burn.) Attack #2 (Eternal Senshi) "Encke Eternal Power, Make-Up!""Encke Tail, Detach!" - There is a phenomeon in comets in which the ion tail, made of plasma, will completely detach from the comet and fly off into space. (Observed in Comet Encke itself, originally) Encke swirls around and runs forward, a long, wide "tail" of blue flaming up behind him. It suddenly detaches and flies backwards towards the adversary as he stays moving forward. When the tail hits his adversary, it essentially causes a series of serious burns (think along the lines of second to third degree) where the fully ionized (and therefore very hot) plasma tail hits. There would also be some minor shocks felt in the general area of impact. ( Usage: Once per power-up strictly. Duration: n/a Range: About a one foot vertical radius on the zone of impact. Weaknesses: Essentially, the real weakness here is the relatively small zone of impact, along with his inability to really aim his 'tail' besides hoping to be right in front of his adversary. In short, this heavily damaging attack can be dodged, and dodged well. When it hits, it's crippling, but the key is actually making this hit.)

RESERVATION Ignacio does not appreciate being referred to as Nacho Cheese.
Though he usually goes with the flow of his energy, he will take a break to PUNCH YOU IN THE NOSE if you continuously call him that.
How would you like it if your nickname was a snack food?

RESERVATION Ignacio loves acting in Meadowview's theatre program. Specifically, he loves comedies, and he loves even more being told to fly with it. Sometimes some of his material borders on unusable (hey, little kids come to the shows, Nacio!), but any time he's an absolute riot.
He plans to keep it that way.
His next suggestion for a play that the school does? Avenue Q. Probably not his best idea, but he'll have a new one within a few hours.

Was going to go for Adrenaline myself with a different quest, but it's not an official sphere, so if you need any ideas there? ^-^
Also, if Ignacio needs a different sphere, perhaps he could be the senshi of Impulses, or something similar?
I can't really see anything wrong with the senshi (love the fact you used a comet, there's not many comets being aimed for!) right now, but when you add on attacks, definitely get second opinions, since even small, starter attacks could be OP.

Not a fan of stepping on toes! <3 If his sphere needs to be changed, I like Impulses as an idea... he is, in fact, VERY impulsive. It's fitting, hahaha XD
Thank you! <3 I thought comets would be fitting with the idea of energy too, especially one that moves as quickly as Encke! Haha, and he'd love being (one of) the only Comet Senshi. XD
Energy can be a very dangerously powerful sphere, which is why I'm going to reserve raw energy bursts until eternal (unless it's okay to start them earlier? That's stretching it) I just need to brainstorm less powerful attacks, and I've been offered some good ideas already. <3

This is just to let you know - I asked Natsu about a Senshi of Energy a while ago, and she said she'd be very unlikely to approve it, since all Senshi use energy, in a way? And therefore an overall Senshi of Energy would be too powerful.
I'd suggest asking Rose or Natsu for a second opinion, but just thought I'd let you know ;3

(: I may have a couple suggestions that are somewhat related, but alas, I can't guarantee they're all kosher: -vitality -draining/transfer -conversion -adrenaline (but you thought about that one beforeI did, so...)
