Story

Welcome to the world of the darnai. The land is lush, the people diverse, and one mute boy. He is the only one who cannot talk, and also the only one who can go into the Forest of Songs and come out alive. The answer: because the nature spirit of the forest wishes to court him... whether he wants to be or not. And so, the mute boy goes into the forest, and still hasn't come out...

Moni smiled as he listened to the trees and birds, singing. He always loved hearing them, and sat down, leaning against a tree as he relaxed. Then, the music turned into a lullaby, luring him into sleep. The birds were pleased with themselves. They were sure that Aether would want to see this boy, and went to tell him.

Moni woke up a few hours later, yawning before seeing Junsui. He looked at him in surprise and curiosity, mingled with a bit of fear.

Moni hesitantly raised a hand in hello, very cautious. The animals were still making sounds so there wasn't any danger, and he saw a doe nearby, which only emphasized that he was safe. He was still cautious however, because it was obvious that this stranger wasn't mortal.

Moni smiled and hesitantly crawled closer, petting the bunny too. He smiled as it sniffed his cheek, closing his eyes. After a moment, he washed his face and kept allowing himself to be petted.
