Feather Stage

This is Ranger as a cute little feather. He's all one color and very easy to miss in the leaves but once you pick him up you can tell there is something different about him.

Child Stage

This is Ranger as a child. He's a special sort of child, quiet and smart but he can't see. He fallows Adish everywhere and the two brothers seem to have some sort of link as Adish talks for him.

Teen Stage

This is Ranger as a Teen. The quiet mildly bitter little boy turned into a jealous, hormnoeal and very bitter teen. He hates the seeing world and seems to like only Adish, and sometimes Flame.

Adult Stage

And Finally Ranger as an Adult. He has matured alot and amazingly could see. Not only can he see normal things but his vison is better then a hawks, able to see in the dark and if he contrates hard though things. Ranger realized that his magic was centered in his eyes and needed time to mature. He no longer hates the world but is still a jealous person. He just tries to control it more.

Earth Journal: When Enya went traveling around she found this journal and purchuesed this for Ranger. He doesn't care less.

Flamefire

December 13, 2005

This is my first post but it's a bit hard. That's because I was going on that long hike. I brought along the journals, just incase I might need them and boy am I glad that I did. I still need to write in Adish's but first I'm going to write here. I mentioned that I was taking Adish and Enya onto a hike. Both seem to really like it alot so far.

Enya loves her walks, she take long rollings ones as she explores the forest around our home. She'll take someone with her if they want to go or go alone if no one wants to come with her. She always comes back with all smiles and sometimes she's massaging her back so I know she pratices flying.

Lately she's been taking Adish alot, mostly because he can't be too busy to go and she can say what ever she wants too. Adish I bealive enjoys it as he always hums happily when Enya picks him up and says they're going on a walk. Enya will sometimes sign for him too which I think he really likes. Enya has a really pretty voice and she gets really into songs, she'll even act them out at times. She's not a great actor but good at acting out songs. It's quite entertaining to watch.

Anyway when we were hiking we were rested beside the lake for the night before we would continue on the next night. I remember I was showing Adish and Enya constlations as I heard a noise to the left. We quieted as we turn twords the noise. I wasn't too worried as Enya's control of fire would be able to scare off most if not all animals and I didn't think there were any humans around.

I was wrong. Sora came out of the trees. She looked mildly dirty, like she been travling for a while and hadn't have time for a good shower. She smelled of the junggle and looked over at me. I c**k my head to the side offering a semi-shy smile. Our last meeting was mildly tense as it was after I disapeared on Enya.

Sora didn't hold a grude though. She inspected Ranger, and I mentioned Helina found him. She muttered something and then turned to Enya, asking her some questions. I was sure it was more for her reasurch but I didn't mind and Enya answered the questions happily. She loves talking, no matter what the subject. Though everyone seems to like talking about themselves a little bit more. There's ego in everyone.

After she had a lively conversation when Enya she turned to me. She mentioned my two Hououza seemed very happy. I answered I thought so and hoped so. I mentioned Enya was geting old and I was glad I had Adish to ease the fact that Enya was so grown up. I missed the little red girl that called me 'Flam' even as I loved how smart Enya was now.

Then Sora persented me with a new Feather. I looked at it in surprised. It looked very simple, just a feather with a calming orange color. It had a strange item though that Sora called the Chocker or Charakatu. I was about to ask her what that was but I was distracted by when I grabed it. As soon as I touched it I knew this feather I different. I didn't know why but I knew that it was. I stared at the new feather in my hand for a long time before finally I looked up to see Sora was gone.

I decied to name the feather Ranger, the name just poped into my head. Who is this feather I was just given?

Enya

December 13, 2005

This is my new little brother Ranger's journal. Sora gave it to me after she gave Ranger to Flame. I thought I write something in it too. I geuss I'll just talk about what I talk about in my journal.

Lets see I geuss I should start at before my trip. I went to the libray to see if I could find some books for when I get back. I had read a lot of Flame's books and I wanted to find some more.

I met Haku there again. I was really happy to see him. He aparently designed the biulding and it was beautiful. He had a real talent with it. He ran the place and seemed to know where everything was. He gave me some suggestions and helped me pick out this book on rabits. I like it so far but I didn't take it camping just in case.

I met his little brother, a little boy named Asher. He was quiet and we had a bit of a bad start because he seemed scared of me at first. That really made me uncomfortable. I don't want to be feared and I don't think I'm that scary. Sure I'm a little strange, I mean I do have red skin and eveyrthing and I'm as tall as a normal human teenager but not scary. He calmed down after a bit though so I'm glad.

After I had lunch at the libray I went back home to get ready for the hiking trip. The next day early morning we set off. We hiked for a long time. I really enjoyed it. We camped once in the forest before we flew across a lake. That was really tiring so we camped again at the side and that was when it happened.

Sora came. She's the woman that discovered me. She came into our campsite, looked over Adish and then asked me a bunch of questions. We talked for a while and she seemed happy with me and how Flame took care of me. I told her Flame is the best gaurdian ever and she gave me a pleased sort of smile. She then gave Flame a new feather with a new item.

The feather was really strange. He didn't look strange, he looked normal but he felt different then Adish. Flame could feel it too. I noticed it since she stared so intetly at the feather she didn't even notice Sora leaving. I did but I didn't stop her. She probely had to go somewhere.

I asked to hold the feather and I held it close, introduicing him to Adish. I could feel how different he was. All my feathers tingled when I held him and I soon gave him back to Flame. I liked holding Adish a bit better. He gives me a warm feeling, like a sunset. Ranger makes me feel a little strange. I hope that will pass as he will be my little brother too.

Well that's all. I should go to bed, we have early mornings now and I'm tired. So I'll write again sometime maybe.

Flamefire

December 15, 2005

We're still camped out. It's pretty earily in the morning so Enya is still asleep but I just can't fall asleep again. So here I am. I'm rather bored and Ranger intrest me so much. Sora gave Enya this journal so I thought I write a little journal note. I remember fenthries grew faster the more you wrote in their journals so I thought maybe this help Ranger grow in the next full moon.

The moon is very close to being full. I think it might even be so tonight. I can't tell anymore as the sun is riseing and the moon is gone. I am rather excited to meet Adish and hopefully Ranger. Adish seems like such a sweet feather and Ranger perplexes me so much. He gives me a strange feeling in my wings, almost like I had feathers. I don't quite get it.

Ranger dosen't move or hum like Adish does. Adish seems to be always humming or something but Ranger is just still. Almost like a regular feather if you don't touch him. He looks more like some large feather from an exotic bird then a Hououza feather if you just look at him. Then you touch him and you know he isn't a normal feather.

I put Adish and Ranger together to see if I can see how they will react. Adish seemed to humm slightly and then I saw Ranger shfit a bit but that might of been the wind that was picking up. I couldn't really tell. I hope this means that Ranger and Adish will get along. After all the two will be like twins if they both change with this up comming moon.

Oh lord, this next moon Enya will be an adult. All grown up and ready to leave me. I wonder what I'll do if she really leaves. None of my pets left before. Skyfire and Nightstar are both too small to really live on their own, Naolin also can't really leave. My many gargoles seem content to stay to torture me and Enya is the first person who really has a good chance of living well without me.

Well it's her choice in the end and I'm sure she'll talk with me before she does anything. I will just miss her if she goes. Oh well, that's another day and if she does leave I have my other charges, like Adish and Ranger, to keep me compeny. I wonder what they'll be like...

Oh Enya is getting up. I should go. This was relaxing. I'll write again soon. Till next time.

The small black child reached out, his world reduced to something no one with sight could really understand. It wasn't a bunch of blackness just because he didn't know what black was. His world was a mass of smells and sounds and feelings. One feeling was stronger then all the other.

Sunset. The voices named Mama Flame and Enya called him Adish but Ranger knew it was a sunset. He wasn't quite sure what a sunset was but that's how he thought of the feeling called Adish.

He felt something leathery touch his hand and the voice called Mama Flame say, "This is your journal Ranger. We're going to find a way for you to write in it. Maybe Adish can scribe for you" Ranger wondered what scribe meant and sure enough Sunset asked for him.

"What does scribe mean Mama Flame?" Sunset was good at saying what he was thinking.

"Scribe means you write down what Ranger wants you to write down as if you were him."

Ranger smiled, he liked that idea, Sunset was good at that.

"That sounds like fun Mama Flame" Sunset replied, a smile in his voice, "Are you going to teach me how to write"

"Yes I am" Mama Flame replied, Ranger could hear her russle his hair. He had very good hearing and then he could feel her stroke his hair, to prove she still knew he was there. Even if he was blind and didn't talk. "And I'm going to help Ranger learn braile. So you can read too Ranger. Enya knows a guy who biult a libray I'm sure he will help us"

"Do you love Ranger Mama Flame?" Sunset asked her.

"Very much" she replied instently, "I love you all very much."

Ranger smiled again, he liked this feeling called love and he could tell Mama Flame did love him very much.
