Without further ado, I would like to present...
o~The Prop List~o
Introduction:
Hi, people! 4laugh As you know, BURN is doing "A Very Potter Musical" for our first of hopefully many productions.
And it's up to us, the prop and set design peeps...to get to work right away.
Irako of the Desert and I have gotten a basic idea of the set in her home at 34 Barton 022611...and we made the realization that this show is VERY prop heavy.
Now---I'm going to make a list of all the props needed. And it's really up to the director to decide whether she's going to add certain props in or not, but it's our decision to see which props need to be part of the set or just added to the avatar. I'm not adding things like wands because those are things that are OBVIOUSLY going to be on the avatar. And that's the costume peeples' job. 3<. I'm mainly putting props that are or could be debatable. I know not all of these props will be needed, but I'm just giving everyone a heads-up.
Also...I have not put which Gaian item I want to use to represent each prop, yet. If you have an idea, feel free to post here and tell me. ^^. In fact...I request you all to find at least two items for two different props for me. :
The List (in no particular order, so feel free to add things):
~*Professor Quirrell's clothes that are lying around by a chair. (I think this should be part of the set in the bedroom. I'm pretty positive that regular items can be placed in homes.)
~*Punch Bowl for the Yule Ball (It's a portkey so I'm thinking that it should be on one of the avatars...but who, I wonder---)
~*All of Ron's food (Should be a different kind of food for each scene...and definitely should be on the avatar)
~*Zac Efron Poster (Should be a KiKi kitty poster and should definitely just be in the house.
~*Rumbleroar. (Will either be a character or a part of the avatar.)
~*"Goblet of Fire" (Basically the thing Snape uses in the first scene to select the "Quad-wizard" champions. Should prolly just be with the avatar.)
~*Four Dragon Cut-Outs from a bag. (Puff the Magic Dragon, The Imaginary Dragon, The Hungarian Horntail, and Pete's Dragon, I think.---I have a feeling this might have to be cut.)
~*The Cauldron Voldemort steps out of. (Probably going to be cut.)
~*Tombstone (Probably will be cut---but maybe it could be by Cedric's avatar--- like---he could exit the home when the two are being transported and come back with a gravestone by him and be all like "LOOK...A gravestone"...and stay right where is his and fall on the ground when he dies.)
~*The REAL Hungarian Horntail. (I'm thinking just a character---)
~*Invisibility Cloak (A character or a part of Harry's costume...but the trouble with that is that it has to cover Harry, Ron, and Hermione.)
~*Harry's guitar (Just a part of his costume...but the part with Ginny dancing with it is probably going to have to be cut.)
~*Draco Malfoy's Lunch box. (Costume piece.)
~*Dumbledore's Bomb Sandwich--- (Snape is supposed to give him a sandwich with a bomb in it...then Hermione takes it from Dumbledore and throws it offstage... I have no idea how this is going to be done...unless we make the bomb sandwich a character.)
~*Harry's Bag of Lunch (I don't think Hermione can give it to him...but she can just be like "You have your lunch, Harry?"
~*When Goyle breaks Harry's glasses--- (That part is impossible and can't happen. Just letting you all know. ^^)
~*Quirrell's Listerine (I think we could put it on the bedside table. Or this part just might be cut out.)
~*Quirrell's Nasonex. (Get real---we can't do that. )

Currently, this is all I can think of right now, but I strongly suggest that you all watch A Very Potter Musical---and write down any props you see that look possible.
