Summary:

Note that the TV series is pretty far from the "canon" legend, but it is forgiveable since it's so gods-damned entertaining. And slashy.

The important part - this show is ridiculously slashable.
I really mean it.
The other characters in the show keep saying things like "without each other you are incomplete" and "you're two sides of one coin" "and he trusts you more than anyone else" and so on.
There's a dragon under the royal palace who I like to refer to as "The Slash Dragon", because he pretty much tells Merlin that he and Arthur are ~meant to be~ in every friggin' episode.
Just. Seriously. There is so much UST and cute boys I can hardly believe it.
Also - if you're not watching it for the slash, watch it because the ever-so-awesome Anthony Stewart Head is in it, and Morgana is super cool and super hot. (there are definitely some femmeslash possibilities between her and Gwen, btw.)
