[AIM Log: Peca and Xx'ami-da]
Ness
Peca had woke up early and emerged from her little den she had settled in. She was a happy little camper here in her new home, she was well on her way to being settled. She had found herself a quaint little den, that was dry and comfortable, not far from the lake. She had managed to find herself a position in the pack as a member of the council. All and all she was quite pleased.
There was one thing that she kept thinking about though, the heyna, the only other hyena in the pack, the one that she had first met upon joining the pack. She had an eye for him to say the least. She walked around the pride looking for the tell tale blue and red of the man she had eyes for.
Seaki
The darkly colored hyena had woken before the sun had decided to show it's rays. He noted, happily that the little dog, Damu was awake as well, sitting by the river. He stopped to talk to him for a moment before moving on and setting by the shore of one of the lakes. Lowering his head, he lapped water from it's cool body.
He let his mind wander, briefly noting each member in his mind. His mind stopped on the beautiful female that had joined not long ago - a freckled hyena with a charming personality. He let his red gaze drift to the sky and pondered - he needed to get to know her better.
Ness
Peca came galloping along in her search of the male hyena. She spotted him down at the lake not to far from where her den was. She was very happy to see him and she felt a smile creep along her face. She moved quicly and smoothly towards Xx'a excited that she had found him so easily, and that he was also an early riser.
She made her was down to the waters edge. When she got to his side she greeted him, "Good morning." she said with a smooth voice. "How is my leader this fine fine morning." She settled next to him on the shore looking over the crystal waters edge.
Seaki
"Good morning," came his answer, lightly. The fiery gaze turned to the white female, and Xx'a gave a small smile. "All's well in the pack, so I'm content," he told her easily, still slightly reviewing things in his mind - it how his mind worked, after all. "How about yourself, Peca? Are you enjoying the Pack?"
He hoped she was - the pack was something he took a great pride in starting. The beginning of something entirely special - his home, a permenant one at that
Ness
Peca smiled happy to know that her friend was content. "I am glad to hear that." she felt oddly happy to know that he was in a good mood. She felt a lot of things towards him that she wasn't really sure that she really understood all her feelings. She found her watching him out of the corner of her eye, not really waching anything in particulr. She just looked at him, watching how his breath moved his cheast how his eyes scanned around him, she found it all very mesmerising.
"I am enjoying the pack ver much." she told him with a broad smile on her face. She was beginning to realize that she didn't like the home just because it was the first place she had really fit in but instead because it was where he was, he being probably the first and only creature she had been attacted to, she wasn't sure why she was in here eyes there was just something about him.

Xx'a gave a slightly beaming smile, something swelling unfamiliarly in his chest. "I'm glad," he told her with all sincerity. He lowered his head with a sheepish smile at his odd show of emotions - despite his being a hyena, he was quite shy, especially around females in general. The only one he really wasn't shy around was his fellow leader, Uzuri.
Ness
Peca noticed Xx'a shy moment and it only fueled her attraction, she may have her shy moments, but at other times blunt was the way things needed to be, she knew that she wouldn't be able to handle the tention between herself and Xx'a forever so she found herself bluttering out "I like you Xx'a" she blushed the moment the words left her mouth but it was too late she couldn't take them back now. She turned so that her full body was looking at Xx'a hoping with every bone in her body that he would return the feeling.
Seaki
The red-eyes hyena gave off a light squeak. He wasn't expecting that - sure he was hoping, hoping she did, but he would never ever dare say anything. His body shivered a bit, strewn with so many emotions like in inner turmoil. He forced himself to stay - so used to running from something that confused and excited him.
For a moment he was at a loss for words. "I like you too," he slightly stuttered out in his adorable was, stomach knotting and twisting, as if he had eatten live frogs and they were jumping around madly.
Ness
Peca felt her heart flutter when he said that he liked her too, she hadn't really imagined that she would find someone that she liked in that way here. She was consumed by confusion, so they liked each other.... but what did that mean. She turned back towards Xx'a her cheeks still full of color and her stomach full of butterflies.
"I am sooo happy that you like me back." she told him honestly thinking it was the best place to start. "What does this mean though." she asked him, she was showing her younger side now, possibly she would always be a youngin at heart, full of energy and fun, and a little quick at rushing into things but it was all in good fun.
Seaki
The male took a deep breath and forced himself to compose. He was glad too, but the question posed. "This means... This means I court you, until we know for sure," he told her softly. Sure, he grew up just watching a dog family and eating their left-overs, but he knew a few things. He raised himself with the oddest moral.
Plus, he was probably a slight deal older than her, but age didn't really matter.
Ness
Peca listened to Xx'a talk while she consentrated on breathing, he heart was pounding a mile a minute and she felt like screaming.... a good scream but a scream none the less. "Ok" she said lightly, really it was the only thing that she could get out. She realized then she needed to get away from him just for a little while, she needed to get her excitement out and she didn't want him to see her like that, for some reason she thought that it might make him think badly of her, that she was too young for him, she was sure he was older than her but that didn't matter to her at all and she dearly hopped that it didn't matter to him either.
As if on cue her stomach let out a rummble, she blushed slightly embaressed but greatful for the exit it provided. She laughed lightly before saying, "Oh I guess I am a bit hungry. I suppose I should go do some hunting for myself." she smiled at Xx'a and began to turn to leave but before she had fully turned something took over her and she turned back and nuzzled Xx'a lightly, without giving him time to respond she turned and ran away, driven by excitement and hunger but sure she would seek him out again later in the day.

Xx'a gave a small smile, and watched his interest walk away from him. He gave a small blush with the light nuzzle and gave her a light nuzzle back before she left. "I'll see you later," he told her lightly as she left for the final time. Giddy, he stood up to go speak to Uzuri.
