A dark and decaying land mass that is filled with rotting plant life and covered in a deep thick swampy marshland. The marshy land ranges from shallow to deep in shifting patterns as it is never the same. The swamp always changes in its mass giving the impression it is alive, though it is actually just a very unstable mass of land. The creatures in the area that are native to the swamp are addapted very well to survive here and use the terrain to their advantage to trap passers by. Therre is frequently seen corpses of pople and cratures that passed through and got caught in such natural traps, though some people may set traps up here for ambushes for other passers by. It is unknown exactly as to what lurks within the swamp or what is hidden inside it, but it is said to be a cursed swamp for a reason.

As he walked, Meitei Genkaku couldn't help but look around the swamp. Plant life were dying in numerous places, slowly becoming part of the swampy marshland. As he got deeper into the swamp, Meitei became more and more uncomfortable. He took a sip of his sake, stepping over a corpse found on the ground. Vultures scattered at the sight of him, flying up into the air. Animals, if they could be called that, ran from him, traveling in the opposite direction in which he came. He took a sigh. "These swamps are terrible. Not a proper place for creatures to live."

After receiving a tip from a local pub, Meitei had traveled to the rumored "Cursed Swamp". A silly name to Meitei, it was said to have housed a few lycanthropes. They dominated the swamp, hunting anything they wanted, anytime they wanted. It wasn't safe for a single traveler, Meitei knew that. But, he wanted to finish his mission quickly. He just hoped that he would be able to deal with the werewolves without getting killed. Hopefully, he would catch them off guard, giving him the element of surprise. As Meitei journeyed deeper in the swamp, he heard a noise. The lycans? He closed his eyes. If he was lucky, something would reveal their location to Meitei, something that would help him out. He paused, grabbing hold of both his swords. If they were his targets, he needed to be ready to strike.

Meitei opened his eyes just in time to see a lycanthrope lunge at him. He brought up both of his swords, Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi, to defend himself. However, the lycan's strength was amazingly, and Meitei struggled to stay on his feet. He was pushed back a couple of inches, the lycan pushing will all his might. With a swing of the swords, the lycan was driven back. Meitei glanced around. There were 7 lycans, all surrounding him. He wasn't in a particular good position, but he knew he would get out of it. All he needed to do was focus. "Earthquake!" Meitei hit the ground with Amaterasu, sending magic into the minds of his opponents. 5 of the werewolves fell to the ground, catching hold of anything they could keep a grip on. However, 2 didn't budge. They sniffed the air, as if sensing something. Meitei realized that they could smell his magic. This was not good, not good at all.

He charged at both of the lycans that were left standing, moving with quickness and agility. He sent magic through both of his swords, keeping an eye on both of his opponents. While Tsukiyomi glowed black, Amaterasu grew black flames. He swung at one of the werewolves. The creature ducked, sending a kick to Meitei. However, it was stopped short by Amaterasu, the werewolf's foot singed. Meitei began swaying from side to side, his legs constantly moving. This wasn't only for the appearance of a beggar. If his legs kept moving, he would be able to move quickly, ready to dodge any attack thrown his way. It also gave him the look of a foolish drunk, which may cause his opponent's to underestimate him. The 2 lycans stared at Meitei intently, waiting for an open moment. The 4 werewolves were still on the floor, but slowly recovering their composure. Meitei had a few seconds to make a big move, or he would become the dinner of the wolf pack.

Quote:
Earthquake: Meitei strikes the ground, making a loud noise. The ground shakes and the effects of Earthquakes occur. This is not real, but good for throwing off an opponent's balance. Must have 5 more magic than opponent.

One of the lycans averted their gaze for a moment. It seemed as if it was checking on its pack, making sure they were alright. Meitei took this opportunity, thanking Shinpou silently. "Nightmare......" Meitei whispered it silently, but gazed directly at the werewolf. Suddenly, in the lycan's eye, the werewolves were withering away, dying slowly. An illusion of the worst nightmare. Meitei grinned as the werewolf ran towards its companions and knelt down. He was distracted and Meitei had a chance to attack. He charged at the lycan, but was stopped short by the other standing lycan. It glared its teeth at Meitei and struck with its left claw. Blood spurted out as Meitei was driven towards a tree. The lycan wasted no time, jumping towards Meitei with its leg outstretched. It was angry. Really angry. Meitei lifted up Tsukiyomi and slashed, sending the lycan to the floor. It was howling in pain on the floor, grabbing its leg. Meitei saw that he had slashed right through the lycan's leg, creating a bloody wound. He took the opportunity to throw Amaterasu towards the lycan. The sword landed directly in the skull, killing the werewolf instantly.

Meitei bent down to pick up his sword when another lycan charged at him. It had gotten up from the earthquake illusion and, after seeing its companion die, was outraged. Meitei ducked, just barely dodging the strike from the wolf, and kicked the creature in the chest. It didn't budge, not an inch. It grabbed hold of Meitei's leg, swinging him around like a little toy. The lycan let go and Meitei was sent flying, heading towards the ground. It wasn't a pretty landing. Meitei was determined that his knee was dislocated. He tried to get up, but failed. The other werewolves were on their feet by now, all headed towards their fallen prey. "Pain!" Meitei numbed his knee, just long enough to crack it back in place. He would have to get that checked later, after he finished his mission. He sent a pain of being stabbed to everyone one of the werewolves, aiming for their legs. They all fell to the ground at the same time, grabbing their legs and howling in pain. Meitei could have done more, but he was getting exhausted. He needed to save his energy for the strongest one, the one still under his Nightmare illusion. He stood up, leaning against a wall for balance. He needed to get Amaterasu back from the dead lycan, for Tsukiyomi wasn't enough to handle 6 lycans on its own. Grabbing the hilt of his sword, Meitei held Tsukiyomi in front of him, ready to defend himself from any sudden attacks.

Quote:
Nightmare: Meitei can create the victim's worst nightmare, making them witness it. It may be a past memory or an old fear. This may cause the victim to suffer from trauma and temporarily stun them. Must have 10 more magic than opponent. Lasts for 2 posts by opponent.

Pain: One of Meitei's stronger illusions. This allows him to control the pain of a human to an extent. He can temporarily numb the pain he is suffering or increase the feeling of pain in somebody else. Depending on opponent's magic, it deals different amounts of pains. 5 more it a small headache or stomach ache. 10 more is a feeling of being kicked or punched hard. 20 is feeling of being stabbed or shot. 25 more can disable an opponent for 3 posts due to pain.

Meitei walked slowly to Amaterasu, getting closer and closer with each passing second. So far, his strategy was working efficiently. Distract most of the lycans while taking them down one by one. Still, he was injured and the battle was far from over. He kicked himself for killing the werewolf earlier. His adrenaline made him forget that he was supposed to capture 6 lycans alive. In order to succeed, he needed to disable the remaining werewolves while not killing them. Easier said than done. Meitei felt his side scrape against a tree branch. Taking a closer look at the branch, Meitei was glad that it didn't have anything on it, but still worried about infection. Meitei took Tsukiyomi and stabbed it into one of the werewolves' legs. It howled in pain, grabbing the injured spot. Meitei then pulled back his leg, wincing at the pain of the pressure on his injured knee, and kicked the lycan, hard. It suddenly quieted, ceasing to make a move. Meitei bent down and checked the werewolf's pulse. It was still there, meaning it was still alive. Not the most graceful of finishers, but it still got the job done.

Meitei picked up the body, weary of the other lycans. The illusion would fade soon, and Meitei needed to finish before it did. He set the body away from the others and walked back to the scene. He picked up his Amaterasu, its blade covered in blood. Meitei would have at least cleaned the blood off if he had time, but not now.

Looking back at the lycans on the floor, he outstretched his arm, black fog forming at the fingertips. "Kuro Jubaku Ichi!" Bullets headed towards the lycans, though the speed of the attack could have been faster. It was getting harder to focus as Meitei continued with his fight. He grimaced as all but one lycan dodged the attacks, the scent of magic pulling them out of the illusion. They all charged towards Meitei at the same time, teeth glaring and noses flaring. "Kuro.....Ju-Jubaku Ni....." A black hole appeared directly under Meitei. He fell through just as a fist headed towards his face. The black hole soon closed, the lycans missing out on their opportunity to kill Meitei. Meitei chose to appear a few feet away from the battle grounds, knowing he had limited time until the werewolves smelled his blood. His fingers lit up as he touched the wound at his side. Three spells used simultaneously was difficult to perform, especially since they were of different elements. Wait a minute.....they were of different elements..... Meitei would ponder this later, after he was safe. In the meantime, he needed to think. Closing his eyes, he began to form different strategies inside his head, thinking of ways to win the battle. He had about half of his energy left, and 4 lycans left. He figured that he had at least brought each lycan down to 75% except the strongest one, who must be getting out of Meitei's illusion now. So 1 person at 50% against 4 creatures at 75% and another creature at 100%. Meitei would bet all the money in the world that he would lose, but he had 3 things that could save him. His mind, his swords, and his illusions. "Time to wrap this up....."

Quote:
Kuro Jubaku Ichi: (No Weapon is Needed)
What is it?: Black spell one is a simple magical spell. It is not strong at all in the hands of a low-level combatant but when performed by a more experience individual a carefully place shot can prove to be fatal.
How to use it: Gather your kuro kotogara at the tip of your finger and release it and say, "Kuro Jubaku Ichi!"

Kuro Jubaku Ni: (No Weapon is Needed)
What is it?:Black Spell Two is generally used to escape tight situations. It is a transportation spell that is formed when the user manifest his or her kuro kotogara in the shape of a black hole. The user can jump into the hole or throw an object in the hole and open up another hole in another location. The distance that the user can create between holes is base on the magical ability.
How to use it: Chant the spells name and manifest your kuro kotogara into a circle and envision the location you wish to teleport to. Jump into the circle and go to the location you wish to go to.

~Heal~
A basic healing spell, it transfers some of the users magical energies into life force for the target. Unless the user is extremely powerful it has a minimal effect. It could be used to heal a broken wrist at lower levels, but a stronger user could bring targets back from the brink of death. In order to use this spell the user must touch the target's wound. The wound then closes and shrinks.

Sensing that the lycans were coming near, Meitei decided it best to take them down one by one. The first werewolf that reached him appeared to be unscathed, having no damage down to him. He swung his fist at Meitei. Meitei ducked, his head pulled back like and looking at the sky. He brought up both of his swords, cutting the lycan in the chest. Meitei then swung his feet around, his feet behind the lycans, and pushed with all his might. The lycan tripped over Meitei's leg, but Meitei wouldn't stop yet. As the lycan fell towards the ground, Meitei stabbed both its legs with Amaterasu. He could smell the burnt skin in the air, his beggar's nose bringing the scent to him. Meitei however noticed that the fire glowed more brightly. The flames took longer to burn out, and they increased the size. Can it be.....

Meitei's thoughts were cut off by a loud roar. Two lycans were heading straight towards him, running with amazing speeds. If I take care of these two, that'll leave two more. Looking around anxiously, Meitei spotted a tree nearby. He grabbed hold of a branch. The two lycans were now only a few feet away from him. He had to disable one at a time, for if he took on both, he would surely lose. "Weight." One of the werewolves stopped sprinting, slowing down to a power walk. Soon, he was on the floor, howling something to its comrade. Before the other lycan had a chance to see what was wrong, Meitei pounced. Tsukiyomi slashed a large cut across its back, causing the werewolf to stumble around. Meitei engaged it in combat, using Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu to his advantage. Weapons were more faster and sleeker than fists, letting Meitei damage the lycan with ease. He moved around a lot, attempting to deteriorate the lycan even more. When the lycan puched left, Meitei jumped right. When the lycan kicked Meitei, he would grab the leg and sweep his feet from under him. In a few moments, the lycan was getting tired, still under a daze from Tsukiyomi's attack. He fell to the floor after an elbow strike form Meitei, landing with a hard thud.

Grinning, Meitei moved on the lycan on the floor. It lunged at Meitei, though its speed was affected by his illusion. Meitei merely side stepped from the attack, stretching his legs out. The hound fell to the floor, face first. Meitei took both of his swords and brought it down atop the lycan's head, rendering it unconscious. "Thats 5 of em.... 2 more." Meitei took a swig of his sake, gulping it down in one drink. He put the bottle in his pouch. Even though he was drunk, he was still smart. He took his blood soaked clothes and put it in a tree nearby. He had taken Tsukiyomi and attached it to a vine nearby. Hopefully, the lycans would smell Meitei's blood and follow the scent. They would step on a trap, triggering Tsukiyomi to launch at them. They would dodge the sword, causing Meitei the perfect oppurtunity to attack. He had tested the trap numerous times, even in his limited amount of time. "Lets see how this goes....." He stepped behind a tree, awaiting the two lycans to appear.

Soon after the trap was finished, the two lycans came. They were sniffing the air, looking for the b*****d that had killed a member of their pack. Meitei did his best to cover his scent, even going as far as to pour alcohol all over his self. Damn.....I could have drunk that wine. He paid close attention to the two creatures. The leader, or what Meitei thought was the leader, seemed to stop, sensing a trap ahead. However, the other lycan wasn't as skilled, and stepped directly on the spot that activated the trap. Tsukiyomi launched directly at the lycan, using the wind for momentum. The lycans eyes grew, its feet tensed. It jumped high, as if it were about to take off. Meitei moved quickly, drawing Amaterasu. He sliced right through the lycan's arm, almsot cutting off the arm. Blood gushed out like a geyser, soaking everything on the floor. Meitei was surprised at how quickly the blood was coming out. Crap....if he dies, i failed my mission. He started running towards the wolf when he stopped. They leader. Where did he go? Meitei's question was quickly answered when he was knocked off his feet by a blow to the head. It took almost all of his ability to stay conscious. He turned around just in time to see a claw heading towards his eye. Catching it, Meitei stood up, keeping an eye on the dying wolf. He had maybe 5 minutes before the lycan ran out of blood and died.

Meitei jumped, gaining distance from the leader of the pack. "Melting Flesh!" The lycan's eyes stared at Meitei for a few seconds before changing to its arm. Meitei used this opportunity to run towards the lycan. He took off his shirt and wrapped it around the dying wolf, who was now unconscious. It wasn't the best of first aid, but it would have to do. Meitei would worry about the other things later. He canceled his illusion, not wanting to waste too much magic. He could barely stand, let alone use his magic on a useless spell like that. In order to win, Meitei needed to knock the wolf unconscious. His arms formed a circle, both swords standing up. "Drunken God holding Lareg Keg....." One of the more advance techniques of Drunken Style Fist, the user outstretches his arms in a circle, as if he was holding a large keg of alcohol. It was very effective for defeating an opponent, but Meitei had yet to try it with his kenjutsu. "Here goes nothing."

Meitei ran up to the lycan, turning Tsukiyomi at a 90 degree angle. It was now facing horizontal, while Amaterasu was vertical. The lycan ducked, as expected, and attempted to kick Meitei. However, Meitei caught the lycan's leg in his own, twisting around behind the wolf. The lycan leader howled in pain, his ankle most likely broken. Meitei backed away stumbling, walking as if he was drunk. Truth be told, he was drunk, exhausted, and struggling to stay conscious. His swaying from side to side wasn't that much acting. He shook his head, attempting to regain focus. The lycan was up by now and angry at Meitei's counter. Still, it's broken ankle would impair mobility. It attacked at Meitei, going straight for his stomach. He backed away slightly, just enough to dodge the attack, and grabbed hold of both wrists of the lycan. He spun around. The lycan and him were now facing backwards, their heads bent slightly. Praying to Shinpou, Meitei kicked with all his might, and pulled on the wrists. He sighed when he felt contact, glad to have his attack land. Still pulling on the wrists, Meitei turned back around, and did a back flip, intentionally letting go of the lycan. He then ran up to the lycan, both of his swords back in his hands, and began to jab with Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi in random laces. The lycan took each hit, the distance between the two too narrow for escape. After a few moments, Meitei slashed the lycan in the chest, causing a scar that would never disappear. Meitei had gotten hit a couple of times, but the lycan took the greater damage of the two. It fell down to the ground, hard, eyes still upon Meitei. Meitei grinned, slowly walking to the defeated opponent. He kept his hands near the tree to keep balance, almost falling numerous times.

"If you wondering what I did, I basically just attacked all your main body parts. Knee, chest, throat, pelvis, all that fancy stuff." Meitei spat blood, the spit landing on a tree. "You are one hell of an opponent, you know that? I'm sorry that I killed your friend and I'm sorry for what I'm about to do to you. Before you go, my name is Meitei Genkaku. Remember that name. The......the shadowbeings sent me." Meitei then took the hilt of Amaterasu and hit the lycan with all of his strength. He wasn't sure why he had said the shadowbeings sent him. Was he planning to start a war between the two? He didn't know, but no use over crying spilled milk.

He walked back to the lycan he had injured earlier, checking its pulse and vital signs. He would live, but most likely never fight again. He then walked back to the place where he killed the first lycan. It was laying on the floor in an awkward position, its stench horrible. Flies had already started buzzing aorund the body, and vultures would most likely come soon. Didn't Orin say something about absorbing creatures? Meitei hesitated for a moment before bending down. He wasn't sure how this was going to work but he might as well give it a try. Taking a deep breath, Meitei focused. His chest opened, causing a painful staring on his already injured body. The lycan slowly moved towards him, as if his body was a magnet or something. When making contact, Meitei felt a weird sensation. His wounds were beginning to heal, his head starting to clear, and the lycan's body was breaking down into numerous components. After a few minutes, the body disappeared completely, and Meitei was fully healed. He looked around as his wounds began fading away. He stood there for a long while, unable to do anything but stare at teh ground. What...what did I just do? Meitei wasn't proud of what he had done today. He had took down a pack of lycans, lycans that had never done anything wrong to Meitei, then absorbed one of them to heal his wounds. After collecting all of the lycans, Meitei headed back to the Dark Empire, not expecting to find any place to rest around here. "Forgive me Shinpou...."
