A huge library filled with the knowledge of the old kingdom. knowledge from long ago accumulated and was stored here within this huge kingdoms library which now left abandoned is a treasure trove of wealthy information that may have been lost to other kingdoms of today and could very well contain secrets that nobody would even know at the present day.

While trying to decode one of the ancient dusty books of scrolls, Itami ate his stale bread alone. Frustation hit him like a cough from the ill. Itami made short progress that day, only decoding 5 of roughly 800 pages. After finishing his stale bread, his thoughts started to wander untill he lay there sitting and daydreaming in silent peace.

A man in a rags threw a rock at the unidentified man. "Dhamphir! I knew I'd find you! My skills may not be great, but its daytime. You are weakened! I'll avenge my parents!"

He charged at the man, shouting rage and revenge.

After getting beamed at the head, it took a moment for Itami to grasp the situation. He then shouted "wait! I'm not who you think I am!", before picking up the now blood stained rock and whirling it at the intruder. Itami then made a break for it, tripping and fumbling occasionally due to the uninvited injury.

"You will not escape me again!" Teishoku shouted, chasing after the man. He was determined to get his prize. His parents 'would' be avenged! "stand and fight me! foul one!" He picked up his speed and tackled the man into a shelf, knocking old scrolls on top of them both. He raised himself from the pile, and kicked the man in the ribs.

Itami coughed up blood as Teishoku kicked him for the second time. "Wait...", he said in a low tired voice. With his head and ribs throbbing, Itami quickly looked around him and saw a tiny dagger he'd stolen years ago. He crawled towards it, getting kicked in the process. Fianlly, with dagger in hand, Itami made a throw toward Teishoku leg and muttered "mizugijutsu: CREATE". Seconds later, he held a gallon of water between his palms.

Teishoku dodges the knife with the practice of his youth. "HA!" this is the one who killed my parents? This is pathetic! And what is this water magic? Your demonic powers don't work in the daylight? Murderers make me sick!" The former begger slowed his pace. He could enjoy himself. Even without his drunken style, he can handle this failure of a halfbreed. He strode up to the man; sneered at his form. The man was crawling on the floor. Nothing but that useless ball of water to keep him company while he feels Teishoku's wrath. He bit his thumb, and smeared the blood over his had. His fingers turn tan from tip, halfway down. He grimaced as his skin tightened and hardened. He thought briefly that his power was getting worse. Or better. Depending on the perspective. In this dark being's case, it would be much worse. He rose his hand into the air, prepared to lobotomize the creature. "Are you prepared to die for your murders?"

Itami starts to chortle softly to himself. His lips curl slowly until they reach a weak smile. He then says, "you are a fool for disrupting me in my studies beggar. From your appearance, i'd guess your either poor or mad. Nevertheless, I will end your sorry life." Itami then muttered silently, "mizugijutsu number 3: BLOCK", and within moments the gallon of water that he held shaped itself into a water shield the size of a human torso. "If you had half a brain, you would understand that im not a force to be reckoned with. Now BEGONE or else...", Itami said in a dark manner. Gradually he began to find his way to his feet behind the protection of his spell.

Teishoku was stunned. Dhamphirs couldn't use water magic. Could they? He knew so little about the creatures. Only that they were beings of dark, weakened in the sunlight. Half-Vamps. He did not know what kind of spells they used, but the man's demeanor was not that of evil. He pause was furthered by the fact that he was still unsure about his powers. "Can my hand pierce that magic?" He ponder for about a two seconds he didn't think it could. Not yet anyway. He began to wonder if the fight was worth continuing. Teishoku shook his head, relieving himself of such thoughts. He was a begger! He had honor. He wouldn't let this man walk all all over him even if he wasn't the dhamphir. He achieved a drunken stance. His thoughts wandered temporarily, wondering where he'd placed his alcohol. He must have lost it. It didn't matter, he could go without it. The being of magic stood tall, confident that his shield would hold. Teishoku sprinted toward him, full speed. Stopping short of the shield he spun his upper half around quickly using his body's momentum to increase the speed of his hand. His magically amplified fingers met the shield in a show of sparks. As the beggar spun back to check for counter attack, he registered a split-second of dismay. He couldn't pierce the shield.

Itami chuckled. He then looked around for his travel sack. It was approximately 10 meters south of there current location. His thoughts began to turn for an escape plan. He thought of how impressive it was that a mere begger was able to even touch his powerful shield. It has the strength of steel for crying out loud! But even he knew the shield wont last for another ten seconds. He started to think vigorously. Words were beyond the beggers comprehension. Itami looked frantically for a way out, but knew it was helpless. Five seconds passed now and the two beggers continued to clash. "I guess I cant hold back, or I'm as good as dead", he thought. Then, the shield collapsed in front of his eyes. He quickly retreated backwards and cursed under his breath. Itami felt something stream down his ear, and wasnt surprised that it was blood. "Its now or never", he thought aloud. "mizugijutsu number 2: WHIP", Itami said louder than he meant. Moments later the fallen water from the shield formed itself into a long whip of about 5 feet and welcomed itself into the hands of Itami. He winced at the pain it caused to perform the spell, as he used more magic today than any other day that month. Quickly, with the skills and speed of an experienced soldier, he shifted his whip arm back and attacked with all the strength he could manage. The first two attempts failed, but on his third try he managed to hit the beggers stomach and cheered more than was unnecessary.

"It's time for a hunt, in the honor of the tribe." An elite tribal warrior's voice sounded through the library as he spoke loudly and clearly in a voice that sounded as if it were meant to tear apart the area. Suddenly falling from the ceiling and right in the middle, between the two that were in the library. The Large Tribal stood 14 ft tall, had the head of a tiger, and wielded a large scythe on his back. His fur was the color of a tiger's and it also seemed to be clean and shiny. He stared at the boy that had been casting spells of water and then sent a punch right into his gut. "You weaklings, you are now the prey." He looked over at the other and then grabbed him and slammed him into the ground of the library. "There will be no escaping the hunt."

Teishoku coughed violently. "Where in the hell did he come from!" He tried to stand. Failed. Tried again. Managed to get onto his knees. He mentally ran though his systems. "Legs....bruised but fine. One, no, two broken ribs. This is a problem. This is a serious problem. I should run" he thought frantically. But he'd seen how fast the tigar being moved. He wouldn't be able to run, not from this thing. Not now. His mind raced. "Can the dhamphir and I take him together?" Its possible, but very unlikely. He called, "Dhamphir! Can you move?". A small groan came as a reply. The dhamphir might be able to get away, if this thing didn't kill them first. The punch seemed to have injured him pretty bad. He was coughing up more blood. Teishoku needed a miracle. But those things are for fairy tails. He stood up, winced, and achieved a drunken stance. If this was his time, he would go out with honor.

Meitei took a sip of his sake and started to think. While reading on how to make a poison bomb out of breath, a piece of cloth, and a little bit of magic, he heard a cry of despair in the old library. He looked to see what it was and found two beggars having a battle. He recognized his old friend, Teishoku Kobushi, but he didn't know the other beggar. After watching the battle for a few minutes, a mysterious figure came out. Meitei knew that this new fighter was much stronger than the other two, and he needed to help his old friend. He took a rock and waited. The rock wouldn't be able to stop the figure for long, but it might be enough to stall him. Then, they would have the perfect opportunity. He started to think of all the illusion spells he perfected, and while taking another sip of his sake, he flung the rock at the figure.....

The Large tiger like beast's sense went off. He looked up, grabbing his scythe with his free hand and then swinging it forwards cutting the rock that was thrown at him in half. "You will be hunted as well." The tiger said to the person that threw the rock at him as he did this he sent a punch directly at the head with his large fist, that was probably as big as the person's head. He was going for a one hit KO, not really feeling like dealing with these idiots. He looked back at the person in a druken style fighting stance, and then in his mind he was saying, If he tried to get out, I will surely be able to catch him.

Teishoku was staring death in the face. And he realized that he was unafraid. He looked at the scene before him. His ribs broken and his mouth bleeding. His best friend unconscious. A Dhamphir reduced to a sitting bleeding mass of flesh. No, he was not afraid. He was angry. The rage he'd felt towards the dhamphir was doubled then redoubled toward this primal beast. "How dare he belittle my life!" The beggar thought in lunacy. He completely shook with rage. His hands vibrated with his pain and disbelief at the situation. The fire rune on his fingertip began to glow. He glanced at it barely remembering what it meant. He stooped and picked up some of the Dhamphir's blood. His hand reverted from it's tan state. He stuck his middle finger into his bloody mouth and covered it, and the rest of his hand in blood. His fingers turned a deep red from based to tip. The heat he felt under his skin only served to elevate his rage. "Honor" he murmered. "YOU SPEAK OF HONOR!!!" he screamed at the lion beast. "There is no honor in our deaths. Not by your hands." Teishoku raised his hand defiantly, the pain of his broken ribs all but forgot in his anger. Was he to die? He knew not. But he was going to speak. "There is no honor in the slaying of children. Nor honor in the destruction of those not equal to yourself". Teishoku snapped his fingers and fire sprang from the tips, surprising both the begger as well as to the lion beast. Although only the beast showed it. "If you want honor, seek your plunder elsewhere. For to kill us in the state we are in. That would hold no honor. That would hold disgrace. Leave beast. Leave so as not to tarnish the honor of your tribe" the flames on his fingertips exploded upwards and engulfed his hand, burning brightly. He looked the beast in the eyes. And watched to see what he would do.
