Ok yeah sweatdrop I admit it... I have a few people in band that I don't quite like... at all. So right away I assume I'm not the only person who knows their likes and dislikes... more so their dislikes.
So this is me giving YOU *points* the permission to rant... keep it decent... I don't want to have to scream BLEEEEEEP! over some of the words xD Also, just to keep it fair, if we are talking about a guy, you shall call them Bob, and if you are talking about a girl you will call her Bobina.
(my apologies to anyone who was born under those names)
Ready to rant!?!?! Not so far! Before you post try to keep in mind that some people here might not wanna hear your ramblings... please don't complain about what other people have said... take it to a PM if you really need to...

There's a dude at my school... he isn't a bad guy at all... You see, Bob is in my music class, jazz band AND senior band... I think I get enough of him stare He doesn't play notes with accents OR staccato. He completely IGNORES key changes and the thingies that tell you how loud to play scream So when the trumpets have the melody and the alto saxes have the counter melody, he is blasting forte over the trumpets! I'm not an alto sax player but I still get annoyed.
Also, he reads over your shoulders... this doesn't exactly have anything to do with band but he does it without asking and he breathes through his nose very loudly. Makes me feel gross crying I was reading my book one morning and left it on my desk to go to my friend on the other side of the room AND HE TOOK MY BOOK AND STARTED READING IT! He hadn't asked or anything... he just walked up and took it. I wanted to smack him scream
*sighs* I feel slightly better now 3nodding

Fayori YES!!!! ALL THE TRUMPETS AND THAT COLORGUARD CHICK THONGZILLA!!!! Just the trumpets for me. A lot of the band hates them, even the instructors don't like them that much. Their section leader sorta eggs them on to be mean and stuff to everyone, like she actually encourages them to do it, and LAUGHS when someone gets bullied by her section. Not to mention their overblown bigass ego.

My lead trumpet is having authority issues. I'm drum major of my Cadet band, and he is having severe issues. Cadet Bob is always disregarding orders, even reasonable requests, and it's starting to grate. I can't kick him out, as he's our best (relative term) trumpet... stare

The flute player who sits next to me in band when she's in band and not in choir (she goes to each every other day) needs to practice, point-blank. She claims that it's bad because she plays by ear, but there is no POINT in playing by ear when you have the music sitting infront of you.
And the tone.

I am proud to say I actually did smash "Bobina" in the face xd
We were freshman last year in marching band (we are both flutes and we hate each other). Yeah so like the third set of last year show, she was surpose to be in front of me and I was surpose to be behind her. Well she stopped right next to me and we were surpose to turn around and I didn't know she was there so I hit her in the face with my flute.
xd I should of said sorry but never did. I was so pissed off that day anyway so oh well. Still haven't told her that I was sorry. At times I just wish I could do it again.

YES!!! This guy, "Bob," is a senior, and oh, how I hate him!! He is so annoying! He is so full of himself just because his girlfriend is popular and pretty an just...yeah. She's the only reason the "beautiful" people even know who he is. And he just thinks he's god's gift to women. Let me tell you, he is most certainly not. First of all, he is butt ugly, and he looks like he's bald. Second, he is a total jack a**. Third, he is too full of himself. He probably thinks I'm crushing on him (NOT!) because I always look back at the saxes (hey one of my crushes...a freshman, plays alto sax...so what? He's hot! And I'm a sophomore..) But he's told me to shut up a couple times, and I was about to kick him so hard...but I didn't, because that's not the kind of person I am, and plus, I just don't want to start something in my band. It would be hell at my high school if I did that. AHHHHHHHHH!! me <---frustrated

grr... she always gets me very mad. she gets all fake when it comes to guys, and would always fight, and argue over a guy she would want to dance, or sit with etc. and most guys like her, thinking it's her personality, but really, i can tell she's just stupid on the inside. all what is on her head is boys. it's not a bad thing for me, but always trying to flirt with a guy in front of his girlfriend is just mean, and ridiculous. i just wanna kick her on the crotch, but instead, i just walk her off in the halls when she acted like a total b*tch to me in band that day.

I actually scratched Bob, last year's gr. 10 band tenor sax player, on the arm. Or was it the end of gr. 9? So hard to remember, but, anyway, it was totally by accident. I have really long, strong nails, and I can usually manage them perfectly without inflicting harm on others or myself, but that day Bob's insulting other members of the band when he can't even play himself and makes no attempt to even try just... set me off I suppose. I swiped before I even knew it, and then he was bleeding. I'm so surprised I didn't get in trouble eek
He quit after last year though, so no more violent outbursts in band.

I wish... that I.. could kill the junior band percussionists at my school!!!!!! They are so aggrivating you have no idea! xP They don't listen, they don't play on the beat, they don't do what they are supposed to do and they interrupt the important speeches! And they are vain!!!!! GAH!
Even the BD wants them to go die! (maybe not in those terms but they really annoy him also) I just wanna smash them in the head with the drumsticks!

Well, I like most of the trumpets (one is really cool, the others are so-so) but there is one who needs to shut up. During marching band season, he couldn't stand at attention for 5 seconds. It was my pleasure after a while to give him push-ups every damn time I caught him doing that.

You mean like our stuck up drum major, or the trumpet player who told my boyfriend that I was a lesbian (not true), or the clarinet player who I accidently groped and is proceeding to make my life miserable, or the clarinet players who secretly hate me?
