Lana: *Once again tunneling through the snow*
Chiyoo: *Sighs since he can't necessarily dig in this kind of weather. Scrunches up his nose and lets out a sneeze when a snowflake finds its way up his nostril*
Gimpi: *Jumps at the sound of the sneeze, then shivers and wobbles*
Lana: *Jumps as well at the sound of the sneeze, losing her cover of snow for a second before diving back into it*
Chiyoo: *Blinks at the sudden appearance of Lana, then wonders if she was really there as she seems to vanish just as fast as she appeared. Pushes to his feet and walks over to investigate*
Gimpi: !! *Rolls after Chiyoo*
Lana: *Waits until Chiyoo is almost on top of her, then peaks her head out of the snow, figuring she was going to get caught anyways* Why do you have an eggstone following you?
Chiyoo: ...Because my human has placed him under my care. *Looks down at Lana while raising a brow* ...What will do you if those tunnels ever cave in?
Gimpi: *Tenses at the sound of a new voice*
Lana: Oh, why have they done that? *Blinks* They aren't that deep, they caved in last year and I was fine
Chiyoo: ... *Isn't really sure if he wants to answer her first question* If a Namir lands on top of you during the cave in?
Lana: *Disappears into her tunnel to pop up next to the eggstone and inspect it* I never go under any Namrah so they can't fall on me
Gimpi: *Shivering within his shell*
Chiyoo: *Looks over at Lana and the eggstone* ...Always careful are you?
Lana: *Notices the shivering and frowns* Yes, and you should be more careful *Wraps her tail around the eggstone*
Chiyoo: *Blinks in surprise at Lana's comment* ...Me?
Gimpi: *Tries to snuggle into the warmth provided by Lana's cat like tail*
Lana: *Nods, bringing the eggstone closer to wrap her paws around it as well* It is cold
Gimpi: *Shivering slowly abates as he presses into Lana's offered warmth*
Chiyoo: ...*Didn't even realize that eggs could get cold.* ...What should I do?
Lana: Right now I am doing it for you *Nods down to her hugging of the eggstone*
Lana: Howso? *Taps at the eggstone, wondering if the thing inside will tap back*
Chiyoo: ...I have no shelter for the child, no fur to give it warmth with *Flicks his tail* outside of my tail... *Sighs* And I have no idea what I am doing.
Lana: There is little advice I could give, but I could try *Rubs her face against the eggstone* I could be helpful for now, at least *Wonders why she is being so*
Chiyoo: ...Do you have any experience with children? *Pauses and waits several beats before quietly adding* Thank you for your assistance.
Gimpi: *Flicks his tail to bat at Lana's face, curious about this new presence.*
Lana: I have the experience of having parents... I think I can remember what they used to do... *Sneezes as her nose is tickled by the tail* You're welcome
Chiyoo: That is an advantage I lack... what did they do?
Gimpi: *Tenses at the loud noise*
Lana: *Bats at the tail* Think you're sneaky, don't you, making me sneeze... *Shrugs at Chiyoo* Kept me warm and from rolling anyplace I might have gotten hurt, talked to me and played with me
Chiyoo: ..I need to talk to it? *Looks baffled, not grasping why someone would need to talk to an egg*
Gimpi: *Flicks his tail then wait before experimentally batting back*
Lana: They still hear you in there *Giggles when the tail bats her and bats back again*
Gimpi: *Encouraged he wags his tail to frantically try to bat at Lana*
Chiyoo: Really? *Ears perk in intrigue as he eyes the egg*
Lana: *Nods and bats faster* Come back here you! Oof! *Hit in the nose*
Chiyoo: *Watches them and lets out a low chuckle*
Gimpi: *Wiggles victoriously* >3
Lana: Nuuu *Drapes herself over the eggstone in defeat*
Gimpi: !! *Wonders what's over top of him*
Chiyoo: Are you having fun?
Lana: Maybe~ Would you like to try?
Chiyoo: Play? With the egg?
Lana: Sure, just like I was doing
Chiyoo: *Shakes his head* No, he is better off playing with you.
Lana: You will have to play with him eventually... *Huggles the eggstone* Wont he? We'll have to gang up on him if he wont~
Chiyoo: ...Gang up on me?
Gimpi: *Wiggles as if agreeing, decides that he likes this voice*
Lana: *Nods* Eggs can be very persuasive when they want to be
Chiyoo: How so? They have no mouths with which to speak.
Lana: *Leans out of her huggle a little* Look at that wiggle, how is that not persuasive?
Chiyoo: .Seems more like he wants to be put to bed. *Acquaints babies and rocking with bed time*
Lana: Well, that depends, if it's a slow wiggle they're probably getting tired...
Chiyoo: ...So a fast wiggle means they want to play?
Gimpi: *Flops onto his side*
Chiyoo: ...What's that mean?
Lana: Usually, yes *Looks down at the flopping* I think flopping means it's past someone's bedtime...
Chiyoo: *Frowns again* I don't have a decent place for him to sleep yet.
Gimpi: *Rocks himself in the snow, lightly starts to shiver again*
Lana: I have a cave that Nek showed me, it's not really a cave, more like a hole in the rock, that's why she didn't want it, but if you pile snow on the opening it gets pretty warm, I have a blanket there
Chiyoo: ...Could you take him there? *Looks to the shivering eggstone before sliding his tale over to cover him*
Lana: I guess I could, what are you going to do? *Curls up around the eggstone, wondering how to move him without exposing him to the cold*
Gimpi: *Purrs at the warmth*
Chiyoo: I will be fine, I am used to the cold by now. *Scans the area* I will also take the time to find a suitable shelter for the winter.
Lana: Alright *Lifts the egg up and tries to waddle with it balanced on her back paws as if she were a penguin* Good thing it's not too far away... There should be more caves/holes in the rock like mine around the cliff I live under if you want to look there
Chiyoo: I just may... thank you for this.
Gimpi: *Settles and seems content*
Lana: *Waddles off to tuck little Gimpi into bed* You're welcome, and good luck!
