 The great huntress stalked through the grasses, her prey in sight...At least, that's what Lhach thought. In reality, the cub was tromping through the grasses after a bug. A very fat, roly-poly bug she was VERY interested in munching. It looked softer than most other bugs, so she was pretty sure she could eat it without issues. Not like the LAST bug she'd tried eating.
Crunchy bits didn't do so well in little cub tummies. She'd gotten a worried scolding from her mother after she'd upchucked the bug. Lhach stopped and pouted. "I just wanted to know what it tasted like." Bah...
Amber-colored eyes blinked as an unfamiliar scent reached her nose. Ah! Someone else? Grinning, she trotted towards the new scent, tail held high like a flag.

The sun was bright and warm, the air smelt like fresh and new and Mikaili was on an adventure. Well... it was an adventure for him. He'd spent the entire morning clambering all over a large rock that lay in the grass. On one side was a flat and smooth stone propped at an angle and he'd been skidding down it's surface repeatedly. The small cluster of rocks provided hours of entertainment for the youth, climbing over, under, and around.
It wasn't until he'd reached the top of the rocks to make another slide down the flat rock that he realized someone else was approaching. It was another lion cub, tail held up high and proud. With no concern of any danger he could be putting himself in he immediately called out. "HEY!"

Lhach blinked at the....SPARKLY cub. Well...his spots made him look kinda sparkly. It was REALLY neat looking. She sat at the base of one of the rocks, grin on her muzzle. "Heya! I'm Lhach! What's your name?"
She had no reason to worry about danger. Her Mommy and Daddy weren't too far off. And she was a right royal scrapper, just like her Mommy! besides...she was bigger than a lot of rogue cubs...though she didn't really know that. Yet.

The young cub slid down the face of the rock, stumbling and almost face-planting into the dirt as he reached the end. He managed to catch himself and bounded towards the other... Lhach... with every intention to pounce.
"I'm Mikaili!" He bounced on his back paws, front ones outstretched and promptly went to tackle the other cub. Lhach was indeed bigger than him but he still managed to get his paws around her neck, pushing at her to try and topple her over in a play fight. "Let's play!"

Lhach kept her grin, not at all unused to this kind of play. She tried it with her brother and sister, and Mommy to some degree. When he pushed, she pushed back, trying to pin him down. Was really weird though, how he was smaller. Maybe he was younger than her? She and her sibs had been kinda small not-too-long ago...were still small compared to Mommy and Daddy. "Yeah!"

Mika laughed, scuffling with the other cub as she pushed back. He struggled against her for a little bit before finally he was shoved over and toppled onto his back. With a small 'UF!' of wind escaping his lungs he rolled over onto his side, laughing.
He looked up at the other. Her fur was dark just like his and she had golden marks all over her; again like him. He hadn't met anyone else other than Fahim and Mehta and neither resembled his appearance at all. It was exciting to meet someone else similar. "Why are you out here by yourself?"

The dark female grinned as she 'won'. She giggled, flopping down beside the other cub. It was cool, finding someone who looked like he could be related. She'd only met her Mommy and Daddy and brother and sister so far...but she knew there were others out there. Else where would Mommy and Daddy have come from?
"M'not. Mommy and Daddy aren't far off. But I wanted to go e-splorin!" She giggled again. "Is lots of fun!"
