A lone, dark figure stood out in a clearing of bright white snow. The snow reached up to his knees, and it was obvious to see the trek the stallion had to make to reach the middle of the clearing by the disturbed snow trail behind him. He was not bothered at all by the coldness of the snow, or that it was making his hooves cold. He was just in pure awe of how much snow there was, and how he never experienced this much snow in his whole life.
Just the sight of the snow brought out a bit more of a childish view on the snow. It made him want to jump, roll, and hide in the snow. Of course, he withheld the urge, trying to be content just being in the snow.

Charlotte was busy being silly, preoccupied with blowing out her breath to see it puff in large clouds, than to were exactly her hooves were taking her. She knew the fur around her hooves was soaked and it was kinda anoying but that was in the back of her head with her directions. She wiggled her nose and blinked as frosties fell from her whiskers. It must be pretty cold out then.
Charlie looked up then to walk out of the trees. For a moment she was disoriented, completely unsure of where she had ended up. Her strange pink eyes darted around, now looking for anything that might look familiar to her. She totally missed the dark soquili that blotched the snow in her attempt to figure out where she was.

Khajag backed out of his little hole in the middle of the clearing into the trail of trotted down snow behind him. He didn't want to disturbed the snow anymore than he had because he wanted someone else to enjoy the nice virgin white snow.
When he turned around, he noticed a mare coming out from the tree line. He trudged through the knee-high snow, feeling anxiety building up at the possible encounter with the mare. Even though he had met many other soquili, he always felt nervous initially. He tilted his head down to cast his bangs over his eyes, too shy to even make eye contact with the mare.

Charlotte snapped her head in the other soquili's direction and noticed him retreating. Well what the heck, maybe he knew where she'd ended up. She smiled and began to trudge through the snow towards him, doing her best to move fast and kicking up snow as she went. "Hello! Ex-excuse me!" Her poor tail was matted with snow and she could feel it tugging on her rump now, by that was the least of her worries. At the moment it seemed she was going to have to run and stop in front of the retreating soquili.

Khajag mildly tensed up hearing the crunching of snow coming towards him. He peeked out from his bangs to look up, to see that very mare who he had seen earlier coming at him. The stallion stopped in the middle of the trail of snow, his braided tail basically looking like a frozen tip of a paint brush after being dragged so much. "H-hello..." He said a bit softly, peeking behind his bangs. He was tense, wondering what the mare wanted.

Charlotte was panting slightly with determination but smiled gallantly when she reached the stallion. "Hello, how do you do? I'm Charlotte." Her exotic pink eyes shined with energy as she stood with the stallion. Oh and what luck she seemed to just be having for it was undoubtedly snowing again. Large fluffy flakes making a home along her back and in her mane. If she ever got home it'd be as a pony-cicle.

Khajag looked to the mare in complete surprise. His nerves were getting to him, making him feel tense on top of the freezing cold. "I-I'm fine." The stallion murmured. He smiled shyly to the mare, his bangs covering up half his face. "My name is Khajag." He introduced.
Seeing as it started to snow again, he tilted his head up. His bangs fell away from his face as he stared up at the falling snow. "Hasn't it snowed enough..?" He said curiously, wondering how much more snow was going to fall.

Charlotte grinned at the stallions murmur to the sky. "I was just thinking the same thing! Wouldn't it be wonderful to be warm?" She shivered where she stood, watching the stallion for a moment, grinning rather stupidly before a snowflake landed in her eye and made her blink furiously.
"Oooh that didnt feel good." She gave a nervous laugh before shaking her head, her eye a little irritated but her previous intent back. "Oh! It is a pleasure to meet you Khajag!" As if she hadn't just stared at him for a good minute. "You wouldnt happen to know where we might be do you?"

Khajag turned his gaze upon the mare shyly, and shook his head. "No, I enjoy the snow... I just think we're getting a bit too much of it." He said softly with a light laugh in his tone. He was thoroughly amused by the situation. The stallion noticed the mare shivering. "Are you okay?" He asked; concern apparent in his face. "We should go to a warm area if it's too cold out for you.."
The stallion had watched the snowflake land on the mare's eye and smiled lightly. "I'm sure the pain will go away soon." He said, reassuringly. Hearing the mare's question, he looked around and nodded. "Yeah. We're in the clearing south of the mountains, east of a river, and west from the two-legger's village." He said with a confident nod.

Charlotte turned watery pink eyes to the green stallion and smiled. "You know your stuff don't you? That will most definitely come in handy for when I decide to go back home." She nodded her head in agreement to her own words and sighed.
"Yeah, snow isn't that bad, but it is a bit much, you know with it up to just about my knees and every thing." Charlotte giggled a little before continuing on. "I have been out in this too long, I don't think I can feel the lower portion of my legs." She looked down, then behind her at her tail and sighed. It was a bedraggled mess and when the poor thing finally thawed out and dried it was going to need some serious brushing. Looking back up and righting her posture she snorted, What a lovely predicament.

Khajag smiled and lightly blushed. "I suppose... I travel a lot, and travel great distances. It's helpful to actually pay attention where I'm going, opposed to freely wandering. Sometimes there are places I want to see and head towards, and it's helpful to know where it is and how to get there in relation to where you are currently." He said softly, his gaze fall down to the snow beneath them. The sun was hitting the snow in a certain way that made it look like little crystals made up the snow beneath them and around them.
The stallion frowned, and shook his head. "The numb part isn't good. We probably should get you moving to a dry and warm area, at least until you get the feeling back in your legs." He said, looking to the mare, then leaving his gaze of her to inspect the surrounding area. He tried to locate any caves that he had stayed in previously during his travels. Of course, considering it was winter, he would need to be cautious for any hibernating animals that might not want to share their home space.
