Xiu had been busy, she had been making her runs in the mortal world as well as spending time with her family, cubs. Things had been going well for the dark goddess, and because of this she felt an almost... new glow fall upon her, a new feeling of hope, and yeah, she wasn't use to it, like... at all. With a soft sigh she rolled herself onto the cool grass and sighed. Today was a new day.
Tzi was starting to get used to living on her own. She had almost broken down and turned tail back to her family but things were going well. Hunting on her own was starting to become easiser and easier. Still, many times the female lucked out on the bigger prey.
Right now she was stalking a rabbit being very careful not to make a sound as she slithered through the tall grass. The rabbit seemed to not notice her pressence yet.
Closer she got the harder she started to breath. Just a little more...
Xiu's ears twitched as she rolled her head back and glared; someone was close to her; sniffing the air the goddess flapped her wings down to her side and trotted over to where the smells were coming from. Who... could it be?
Tzi almost had the rabbit. She shifted into a pounce position when the little buggers ears twitched and it hopped away. Tzi blinked and sat up.
"What on earth?" She blinked again. The female had no idea that a goddess had sensed her pressence. The lioness was still trying to figure out why the rabbit fled.
"You look pretty silly." Xiu laughed as she poked her head around the lioness, smirking. She was hunting a small rabbit, a worthless meal really. Xiu's wolf-like eyes narrowed as she spoke out again, standing beside the spotted female.
"And you are?"
Tzi nearly jumped out of her skin. The surprise shown clearly on her face. The lioness had not noticed the goddess at all. Tzi gathered her self a little better and took a breath, closed her eyes, and opened them.
"Tzigana... its.. umm.. may I ask what you are?" She was a little spooked and hadn't realised she asked 'what' instead of 'who'. It wasn't every day you saw a lioness with wings and horns though.
"I'm Xiu Xiu" She beamed, standing tall, smirking still. She had changed, and it was for the better, but she couldn't help SOME of her old ways. This girl just looked so confused. " Tzigana." She spoke. "Did I make your little rabbit run away?"
"Xiu Xiu" Tzi beamed back, it was a fun name to say. "Xiu Xiu, your name its like a beat to a song," The lioness repeated it a few more times to her self and imagined it in a song. Tzi was easily amused.
The lioness had all but forgotten about her rabbit until Xiu Xiu reminded her, "Oh.. That? Haha, don't worry about it Xiu Xiu. I'll catch something else.. its not every day you meet a winged lioness," The female smiled and gestured at the wings. "They are pretty."
"Thank you, sweetie." She called her that because she seemed so young, so sweet. The goddess smiled and nodded. "Why thank you again." As the younger lioness spoke Xiu smiled and opened her wings for a full view. "So." She paused. "I am going to grant you one wish." She poke out with a bright smile. "For intruding on your hunt.
Tzi's eyes widened, one wish? The young lioness couldn't believe her ears.
"You.. r-really?" The female felt her heart pump just a little bit faster. No one had ever granted her a wish before.
"Whats a wish?" Tzi tilted her head.
"Something you want, desire." She nodded and poke out with a soft tone; "And I will make it happen." Her stance was strong, eyes bright. "So, what will it be, young one?"
The female smiled. She didn't need to think to hard about it.
"To help put a song in everyones heart that I meet," She felt her chest puff out a little more as she made the wish. Music was everything to the young female.
Xiu Xiu smiled and nodded. She knew that this was something she didn't need to gift the young lioness, this... this was something she already had inside. Tapping her paw onto the young lionesses shoulder Xiu smiled and spoke out.
"Your wish is granted. Just make sure, when you sing, you sing from the heart. If you do this, you will be everything you want to be and more."
Tzi nodded and did a little turn around, she was more then thrilled.
"Thank you Xiu Xiu," He rubbed her head to the goddess's , "I'll do my best not to waste such an amazing gift."
