Why the aversion to learning how to make shields?

You could try sigils as a way to ward entities away from your property, but I think the only way you're going to keep them out of your head is by learning some form of shielding.

those are the answers I'm looking for, and yes its hella unnerving to think that someone could be spying on you , they have all the advantages, and they've toiuched me before!

I'm so messed up now that my abilities suck, but how am I supposed to be independant, I had another psychic at some point make shields for me, but what if she was lying, but how I could tell?

I've lost jobs, interviews and college time over this, its haunting me horribly.

anyways I've made shields before, but it was based on my energy being driven on the logic that ghosts didnt exist.

funny huh, when I didnt believe in this stuff I was securely shielded by my subconscious but now that I know about this stuff I'm to freaked to be able to concentrate long enough.

oh and I hate angels to, cause mine hated me *sticks tongue out*

If you're being offered something for free then you have the option of trying it out without being ripped off. The only way to test whether something is valid or not is to test it yourself. Personally, I'd be wary of most things on the Internet, just because anyone can put up anything. I personally prefer books that talk about things that coincide with my personal experience.

That's not to say the Internet doesn't have valid information, because it does. It's just that you shouldn't take anything at face value without investigating it yourself. If you find that a lot of different places are reporting similar things, then there just might be something to it.

Then there's the age old, traditional way of cleansing a room. It involves using sage or another cleansing herb like angelica. Salt is also supposed to keep spirits away so you could surround your bed with salt, preferably sea salt.

I agree that consecration means that you have to consecrate it to someone lol. But a simpler method one that I have used when the spirits following me became unbearable, is to merely visualize your space filled with bright burning light and feel your energy cleansing the room. Oh and by the way I believe a ghost or spirit will not be able to pass through a shield if you specifically program the shield to block them

Ghosts and spirits are of another plane than our normal one. It's sad, but the only vivid comparison I can make is to a video game.

Super Paper Mario. It's a game that is, for the most part, played as a 2-d side-scrolling platformer/rpg. Yet Mario, for reasons unexplored, has the ability to move into 3-D. So, if he runs across a big 2-d barrier, there's usually a way around it in 3-d.

Switch our red plumber friend for a ghost and your bedroom wall for that barrier, and you can get the point. He/she/it moves through the spiritual/astral/energetic plane (whichever you choose to call it) in which that wall is not a wall anymore. The point of wards and consecration, then, is to make that wall a "3-d" wall that will also block things astrally.

As far as uninvited guests, not all of them are necessarily bad. Some of them aren't even spirits at all but sort of an after-image of previous owners and the energy they put into their home. For instance, a home where a family fought and argued a lot usually makes a sensitive person's skin crawl, even when the people have been gone for a year. For problems like that, an energetic cleansing of the home usually alleviates that.

I've heard plenty of folklore on how to rid oneself of ghosts and spirits in the household, from slamming doors repeatedly to full-on ritual exorcisms. They wouldn't get passed on if they didn't work, as that was the pragmatism of most folk cures in the day. As far as amulets, some people choose the religious symbol of their choice, which is pretty potent. There are certain runes or symbols specifically meant to protect from various threats which are easy to draw (and you can carry on you, too). I mean, are you looking for some specific prescription for your problem? Because I don't know your preferences, I can give you choices but not a strict protocol.
