RP Contest ::
OVER

Rules :: 01 - You can only enter for and win one! 02 - Giving her away if you win is NOT allowed. 03 - Don't discourage anyone from entering. 04 - TO ENTER: Log into: RP Contests (pass is 2ReyaTwins) Post your entry with the code (below) in this thread. DO NOT touch anything on the rp contests mule, it isn't yours, and we WILL know. DO NOT edit ANYONE ELSE'S ENTRIES. Anyone caught doing so will be disqualified and immediately graylisted, if not blacklisted. DO NOT hint to which entry is yours. We use the rp contests mule for a REASON. It eliminates bias, so everyone knows their entry will be fairly judged.Prompt Number: Red or blue Reya: Nequus' Name: Nequus' Personality: (don't need too much here) Prompt Response:
Your Username: (YOU MUST LEAVE THIS IN WHITE OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Thanks! :3) Again, TO ENTER: Log into the account 'RP Contests' with the password '2ReyaTwins' and post your entry in this thread. Do NOT touch ANYTHING on there except YOUR ENTRY.
Prompts: Please just choose one, any one 001 - You peer around a tree to get a better look at the movement you had caught out of the corner of your eye. As your eyes focus you realize that it's just your twin sister. There she is, minding her own business.... wait a minute! She's not alone! She's talking to.... a male... and not a Reya, for that matter. How does this make you feel? What does it make you want to do?
002 - Being a twin isn't easy, and sometimes you just need a breather. That makes sense, right? I mean, just because you're twins, doesn't mean you have to be together at ALL times of EVERY day, right? Well, either way, today you had gone on a walk by yourself. You weave in and out of trees, the occasional clump of snow falling down onto you. What made you walk away from your twin? Does this happen often? Do you wish you were closer? Further away from your twin?
003 - You and your twin look... well quite honestly.... the same. Except for the color, of course. But those colors are directly opposite, so you wonder why everyone keeps mixing the two of you up. You're not the same Reya, after all! Tell me about you and your twin's differences.
REMEMBER TO POST ALL ENTRIES USING THE ACCOUNT 'RP CONTESTS'.

Prompt Number: 3 Red or blue Reya: Red Nequus' Name: Fiera Nequus' Personality: Fiery Prompt Response: I have NEVER understood why it is so difficult for people to see us as the 2 completely different Reya we are. I mean we arent even the same color! Quieta is so laid back and quiet! Nothing bothers her. I on the other hand seem to not be able to control my temper for anything. I am always getting myself into trouble then Quieta has to come calm thins over. As if it isnt bad enough that people confuse me for her but to have to be bailed out by her too?! I cant remember how many times I have wished I didnt have a twin. Dont get me wrong I dont want her to go away, just not be MY twin. Other times like now, running around out here with her. I realize how lucky I truly am to have someone I can share everything with.

Prompt Number: 2 Red or blue Reya: Blue Nequus' Name: Shiva Nequus' Personality: Kind Prompt Response:
You know, sometimes I just don't understand my sister at all. For us being twins, we think so differently. I tried to explain about this weird flower I saw, and you THINK Firah would get it? No, not one bit. I'm SORRY I don't have the Gift of words like her! That I can't Discribe how something looks like her. I tried to tell her "Its got FIVE thingys... that come out of the center... " she looks at me like i am speaking alien... " they are PURPLE" I tell her... "OH PETAAAALS! silly Shiva, you should use the right word" and i sigh. I didn't know the right word. She is always telling me, to use the right words, or to be more discriptive. And even then, I eventually have to SHOW her what I mean. When she wanted to go look, I tried to tell her where it was... and she just got so mad, she eventually just said "FORGET IT!" so i said "fine!" and she said "fine!" then mom said "FINE SEPERATE! and go walk it off!" Sometimes... I really hate my sister. I wish she would just, try to see where I am coming from. I am NOT a dictionary like she is... *kicks a stone* I wonder if she is still mad at me? I don't think I am mad at her anymore.

Prompt Number:001 Pink or blue Reya: Pink Nequus' Name:Amaranth Nequus' Personality: Amaranth has a few problems with self-confidence, she's constantly worried that those around her might not think well of her, or at the very least she's trying to make them think better of her. This might make her come off as a bit of a kiss-up though she doesn't mean to be, she just wants to please everyone about everything - which we all know is impossible. Prompt Response:
Well this was something she certainly hadn't expected, sure Brandeis had always been a bit of a rebel, something she had always taken advantage of - who didn't like being the family poster child ? - but to be consorting with not only a male, something their father had sternly forbid, but an outsider male? It was certainly some juicey gossip she had on her hands here. The trouble was, Amaranth wasn't entirely sure what she should do about it. Sure telling father would lead to some nice drama and raise her in his esteem for a goodly
while, something that was hard to do. Amaranth was always trying to get her father's approval, it was a never ending task with often fruitless results, but she kept trying anyways. He'd always wanted sons - but amaranth was determined to show him having a daughter (or in their case, daughters) could be just as good.
The problem of course was her sister, who not only didn't care what their father thought but enjoyed brazenly flaunting this trait to spite him. Brandeis wasn't a mean Nequus - she just didn't like being treated differently because she was female. Amaranth could understand that, she just didn't agree with her sisters methods - wouldn't doing good deeds get their father's attention more? Of course she had to hand it to Brandeis...this little stunt would almost certainly get father's attention. The wrong kind of attention, but attention none the less. If he found out about it of course...and there Amaranth hit a bit of a block, she loved her sister, she really did - they were twins after all - and Amaranth wasn't sure if her father's approval in this case was worth hurting her sister. Brandeis didn't look like she was flirting brazenly with the stallion Amaranh told herself, ear' swiveling uncertainly and her tone? Well her tone made it sound like she actually liked this stallion.
Amaranth cursed silently but slowly withdrew, she'd alas been terrible at keeping secrets but now it seemed as thought she'd stumbled upon one inadvertently. A big one at that, this was no 'I snuck out for a midnight gallop' secret but a giant 'It's going to get you kicked out of the herd' secret and what would she do then? If Brandeis got kicked from the herd Amaranth would be sisterless. There was a terrible thought, she couldn't fathom life without her twin - even a rebellious pain in the butt twin like Brandeis. Amaranth shook her head, she would just have to try and keep this secret...and speak to Brandeis as soon as she could, when they had some privacy. Brandeis had never listened to her advice before, but maybe this one time...she might.

Prompt Number: #2 Red or blue Reya: Blue Nequus' Name: Seveya Nequus' Personality: Seveya is growing more and more independent every day. She loves to be competitive and is a little bit of a tomboy. She can be quite practical at times, but at times her mind will throw that practicality away to remain in tact. Prompt Response:
My gods! With a deep breath the female felt her legs fold out beneath her and with a thud the impact jarred her mind awake. A soreness began to rise from her knees and she did her best to shake it off entirely. She was a Reya, she was strong and proud, she would never let such a minor glitch in her plans ruin that.
Flicking her eyes across the trees, Seveya finally let herself settle down when she realized that there was no one around. Good, she was alone. For once in her life she was utterly alone. It wasn’t that she disliked her sister, but the two of them had very different ways of going about things. They were twins, and surely while they looked alike that was where all similiarities had ended. In a lot of ways it bothered Seveya deeply. She wished she was closer to her sister, but at the same time she hardly ever left her side.
It was a game of sorts, a ploy. Their father enjoyed flaunting his power. He was a leader of their herd, and well, to him everything had to be perfect, and to be perfect he had to have perfect twin daughters. Everyone expected the girls to be identical in every way. However, truth be told there wasn’t a single part, outside of their looks, that the girls had in common.
Seveya liked to think of herself as the more practical one. Though honestly she knew in come cases that might not be true in the least. She tried to be rational and level headed. The problem was that lately she had been feeling the need to stretch her wings and disappear. Rebellion , her father called it. She hadn’t done any of these things deliberately, it wasn’t that she liked making her father look bad or being thought of as the problematic child. She just wanted to be free. She wanted to be her own Nequus and seek adventure. Though to her father you might as well think she wanted to destroy everything he had sought to create.
Letting out a rather deep sigh, Seveya thought about her situation further and what she might do about it. There probably wasn’t any way around it. Maybe she had to swallow her own damn pride and be the good little girl her parents wanted her to be. That’s what she had been her whole life. Sure, she had a lot more problems with it than her sister, but when she was younger it had been so much easier. Why was it a problem now?
She thought about her twin. Yes, her good little twin, or so her parents called Neia half the time. Neia was sweet, she obeyed everything her parents told her no matter how ridiculous it seemed. She rarely thought for herself. That bothered Seveya, it bothered her so very much. Neia had no trouble being her father’s perfect image. Sure, she had her good qualities… Neia was a lot more loving than Seveya, almost to a point that could sicken anyone. She sought approval. She would sit for hours near a brook staring at her own image while making sure her mane and fur were perfect, singing a little hum that could calm any animal nearby.
Sure, Seveya liked animals, but at the same time she was much more interested in the land than what lived there. Racing across the mountains, skimming the skies and shifting your body just right when over a lake to kick up a little of the water….. All of that was bliss to Seveya, and unfortunately as long as she lived with her mother and father she would never experience any of it.
That was why she was where she was now. Seveya had had enough of being a perfect little girl for her parents. She was tired of looking and acting the part. She wanted freedom, true freedom. Here in this field of trees where no one would hear you for a mile away. Far from her parents, far from a sister who looked exactly like her… Here she could be herself. Here she didn’t have to impress anyone. Here was where she had decided she would stay until she grew tired and flew somewhere else. She had runaway.
