Mehta stared out into the grasslands, there seemed to be no one around anymore, and even if there was someone she couldn’t see them in the tall grass. It was depressing being stuck in one spot for life, waiting and waiting, but not getting anywhere with it. Where was her family? Why did they leave her in the tree? Was she that much of a burden to them or did they want her to do something? Green eyes gazed into the sky, bright and blue, only two puffy clouds dotting its vastness. A line formed on her mouth before she jumped down from her usual spot. She would travel today; maybe nab something to eat and drink as well.
Stretching her long limbs, she yawned, claws tugging at the ground for a moment before getting into a relaxing once again. She would head to the stream; it had been awhile since she last stopped there. It was far too shallow for any gators or hippos to live in, and most of the animals traveled to the hole to drink. Something she didn’t quite understand, but was thankful for nonetheless.
Pulling her body in the direction of the stream she felt the warm breeze tug at her fur, beckoning her to follow it. She resisted the urge. Not now. She would follow it later. She had to stay close, just in case her family did decide to come back. Nearing a large rock the leopardess leapt onto it, staring across the plains, there was something oddly beautiful about it. A light smile tugged at the sides of her mouth, she did like it here, even if she was stuck.

Raaze made his way threw the tall grass. He didn't bother trying to stay quiet. For he wasn't hungry, and he had no reason to at the moment. He knew there wasn't any danger around here. Even if Lions proven to show themselves, he'd been threw worse. He'd lived threw things with two legs and little fur. Things that could carry sticks with their paws, sharp sticks that were almost sharper then a lions tooth. He had scars around his neck that he choose to hide. Not letting anyone see them. With his furr around his neck, he looked like any other leopard. Normal and unscared.
He gave a yawn, bored as always walking aimlessly. Trying to find one leopardess that almost seemed was impossible now. She seemed like a bad dream. Making everything perfect then getting ripped away from him. Sure, that seemed like it was a good dream at first, but it didn't turn that way in the end. Life was miserable, and he knew that first hand.
He hadn't noticed the leopardess that was close to him. He was up wind, so he couldn't smell her. Nor would he really care if he could, It wouldn't change his way of movement. Not one bit. He was rather rude to anyone he ran into, not trusting anything at this point. At least not right off the bat.

As Mehta stared out across the plains she felt the wind tug at her, bringing the scent of leopard to her nose. Turning around she looked about the grasses, trying to make out of pathway that the leopard was traveling in. Where was this other leopard located, it had been some time since she had met any so just thinking about meeting another made her heart pound in excitement. Was her brother here to get here finally?
Scanning the plains again she finally caught sight of the bent grasses, he was around there, and soon, very soon he would erupt from the grasses, where she would finally be able to get a good look at him. The sting of tears suddenly filled her eyes as he heart beat rapidly, was it truly her brother? Please let it be him she whispered to herself, unable to tear her eyes away from that patch of grass.

Raaze was far from anyone's sibling. For the last time he knew, he was the only child in his parents life. But that was another story. He moved to where the other could probably see him well. His ears kinda flat, with a rather grumpy look upon his face. Though, he wasn't mad or happy. He was simply living. Moving on in hopes that he'd find the one he fell in love with so long ago. Though, his hope was running low.
He gave a sigh as he still didn't notice the lions. For his defense she did match the grass very well. Plus, he didn't really feel like running into anyone. So assuming no one was there, he stopped and took a stretch letting himself relax a bit before moving on. He'd been walking for some time, and his paws were beginning to ache.
