In this city, everyone has run amock. The people in control are the few people who have money, and they have it all. They use it on their own luxury, having grapes fed to them while the rest of us are forced to depend on ourselves. Scraping the bottom of the barrel just to survive. Is this fair? I don't think so. In order to stand against this treachery, a band of theives has formed. To take from the rich and give to the poor, we play to our strengths and cover our weaknesses. We plan to go up against the wealthiest, greediest, slimiest man that there is. We're smart, fast and we have the support of all of those just like us. We're not going to lose. Why? Because we're the Robins of course. ((As a note, This is Modern. I wanted it to be like it was today, except with the plot I have above. Sorry for the confusion sweatdrop ))Rules:Keep it PG-13

4.When you're going to fight, just put (Fight) at the beginning of your post so people know what you're doing.
5.Put your profile in the first post.
6.At the end of your post Put "Apple" so I know you read the rules.
7.The Robins stick together, so if you're going to be one, make sure you don't go all independent everytime something doesn't blow you're way (It's annoying)
8.Keep in mind that we have to go against 'The Man' sooner or later, so try and keep on plot
9. Obviously you have to be lit

Kiki:  Robin or No: No Position: Aireth is more of a wanderer. When someone needs protected, they hire her for multiple amount of things. Whether it be a bodygaurd, assasin, or a theif, she's there. For now, she's a bodygaurd for 'The Man' Weapons: (if any): She carries two pistols as well as a long sword that hangs on her waist. She has a couple knives hidden away. Bio: (Optional): Her father died when Aireth was only fifteen years old and another was on the way. Her mother died giving birth to her little sister, Kiki. She has been raising her ever since, though a couple of years ago, Kiki grew ill. She was diagnosed with a rare disease that can be cured by a vaccine shot, unfortunatly, it is extremly expensive. Aireth has been working hard to earn enough money to one, put food on the table, two, raise her sister, and three, get the medicine. A natural rebel who lived with his mother, his father one of the rich ones who had had an affair using his mother, and then cast her off as soon as he could. Since the man was rich he could pay off the courts and his mother couldn't get any money to take care of him. He soon got tired of it and found that he had rather quick fingers. He soon had told his mom he got a well paying job and started helping pay for things. It wasn't till things got really heated with the police did he pack up and leave home to protect his mother. A notoriously bad aim, people often joke that Danny with a gun is a greater threat to the Robins than all of their opponents combined. Carries about a switchblade, which she has slightly more skill with. Bio: Despite her humbler looks, Danny is extremely intelligent. She joined a few years ago as a code breaker and quickly rose through the ranks to higher positions of power. Ariai sat on the tree branch idly. Her long legs were laid out in front of her as she laid back on the rough truck. "I wonder what's taking the others so long?" she mused, fingering the steel tip of her whip. A slight breeze ruffled her hair, and she frowned irritably as it blew some hair into her eyes.
"It's getting late...where is everyone? We should've gone into town a half hour ago."
She leaped off the tree and stretched. The sun was setting, and the air was getting colder by the minute. She shivered slightly in her mere tank top, but shook her head. "Robins are to show no weakness," she reminded herself.

"I'm sure they're all being late for some important reason or other," Anna mused, sitting on the bench under the tree. She fiddled with the small dagger that she carried around with her between her fingers, having messed with it enough to not let it cut her. She noticed the irritation in her voice and shrugged. "They'll show up eventually, no worries." Ariai did have a point though, it was getting later and they did need to be into town soon. Anna played with a piece of her black hair, looking around for them for a minute. As she saw Ariai shiver, she tossed the coat sitting at her side on the bench in her direction. She herself wasn't cold at all, but she'd always been that way.
"Here, use mine."

Danny flounced over to the tree, a fat smirk resting comfortably on her face. Her laptop case was slung lovingly over her shoulder, never far from the self-proclaimed brainiac. She vibrated with excitement, waiting for someone to ask her why she was late.
No one asked, but she told them anyway. "Sorry I'm late," she chirped, pulling her laptop out of her case and drumming her fingers on its sleek surface. "I just finished a little proletariat revolution. Look," she opened the computer and pointed to some jumbled figures, "I've transferred all the money from the robber barons to those less well-endowed, with some for our own bank account. We can finally afford to set up that soup kitchen."
She shut her laptop forcefully and looked up into their faces, waiting for their praise.

"Thanks Anna." Ariai tossed the jacket over her shoulders. She looked up in surprise when Danny came up. What's a proletariat revolution? she wondered, but shook it off when the girl said they would have enough funds to get the soup kitchen started. "That's great Danny," Ariai said, nodding. "Do you know where Clifford is? He was supposed to be here a while ago..." Herself, she was getting worried. He was never late before. What was holding him?

Danny shifted uncomfortably, as she always did when she didn't know the answer to a question. "I haven't seen him since this morning, when he was trying to teach me how to use my knife more skillfully." She grimaced slightly, an indication of how the lesson went. "He was rather impatient, and wearing his favorite throwing knives. Think he had somewhere to go. But you know," she shrugged, "no need to tell me what he's doing." Few things perturbed Danny like being left out of the loop, which was made apparent in her voice, forced casual.
"What are we doing today anyway?" she asked, trying to hide her annoyance. Danny knew it was unreasonable to expect to know everything going on in an organization this big, but knowing something is very different than acting on it. "It can't be purely physical, not if he's bringing me along."

"There's a illness spreading in one of the cities to the west and one of my contacts asked us to get it for them. The vaccine is ridiculously expensive, leading some to believe it's a conspiracy to kill off the poor people. Of course it's in a tightly secured lab with a bunch of codes to break and electronic locks. That's where you come in Danny, guards are your priority Ariai, and Anna, your for back up and because I doubt this will be easy I'll need you to bring the first aid kit." Clifford said his legs swinging from a tree branch.
"Sorry for being late, I had something important to do." Truth was it was his mother's birthday and he always got her something. She had spotted him leaving it in the house and so of course he couldn't turn her down when she asked him to stay for a bit. He also had a bag of home made cookies in his backpack.

"Right," she said, pulling her hat over her eyes, "sounds like fun."

((We're a few robins and bad guys short, but that's no problem. Hopefully more people will come along.))
"I wouldn't doubt it," Anna said, "The theory's probably not far off either. Anyway,
I have it already," Anna replied, holding up the bag containing the first aid kit and other things they might need for their mission. It was true, she was mainly back up and nurse but that was her job and it wasn't horrible. Her caretaker job had earned her the nickname Mother Hen, even if it was rarely used. She did get to throw a few punches in here and there, so she was satisfied. 'A Robin's heart is true, so they do not mind the lesser jobs they are assigned' she thought smiling, having thought of it on the spot. The Robin's didn't actually have rules they followed, only morals that they all shared. Because of this, the made up rules as a little joke between them, often rhyming.
"I figured that it would be needed," she continued. "Besides, because of the illness people have been in a flurry so I've been carrying around some cough remedies as a help. The children have it the worst which is what worries me," she said looking up at him.

"Fun," Ariai murmured. She felt a slight twist at her heart, and she knew it was for worry of the people in danger. "Are we waiting until after closing time to get it? Or are we going to mock the Richys and do it in front of their faces?" She tugged Anna's jacket off her shoulders and handed it back to her. "Thanks." Now that she was going to be fighting, she wouldn't need it. Fighting always warmed her up.
