Iceman was the name of the unit started by musical genious Daisuke
Asakura, and though they never became too popular, they had the
potential to be one of the greatest bands of the time because their
music was so different than everyone elses.

Michihiro Kuroda
AKA: Rin
Vocalist
"The sexy one who can't dance"

Kenichi Ito
AKA: Ken
Guitarist/singer/writer
"The completely insane tall guy"

Daisuke Asakura
AKA: DA
Keyboardist/pianist/writer
"Really short musical genious"
Iceman is most well known for their work in the anime Gravitation.
DA wrote the scores for the entire soundtrack, Ken-chan played gutiar and sang in
a handful of them, and Rin did most of the vocal work. Not only that, but Iceman
-was- the band "Nittle Grappler", and one of their most famous songs:
Shining Collection came from there.
---------------------------------------------------
In 1998, vocalist Michihiro (Rin) left the group because "he couldn't reach his
full potential in Iceman". This was particularily true, since DA and Ken-chan
wrote all the music, and in many of the songs where Ken-chan wrote the music
and lyrics to he sang lead in, which left Rin pretty much useless. If he didn't
have some back-up lyrics to sing with DA, he was shoved away back stage.
After Rin continued his own solo career, Ken-chan and DA continued to work
on various projects together including a hard to classify group/production unit
called MADS. They still get together to do various activities, but Ken-chan
currently is doing some solo work, and DA has involved himself with other projects.
