My favorite season of RD. sweatdrop Kind of hard to do. I enjoyed them all very much. Dispite the fact that the last few season had lost some of its flare and when they changed the first few season by changing the looks of The big red with CGI and such. They lost the cheesiness of it all. Which I so loved. xd But, If I must. Season I unaltered. mrgreen It started my craving for RD. twisted

Well, if I had to choose............. possibly series 3. NO! 4! 5!

But I'll give those seasons one more chance when they come out on DVD here in the states.

Definately 6 whee its always been my favorite, from the first episode first scene with lister first coming from statis with his afro i new it would be good wink

The main problem was that they tried to fit the extras in too quickly and that is where they lost some of the flavor. But, it did help with what they could do. As it gives them more chances to do stupid but funny things. xd

Series III. Every episode is a classic, and there's not one I don't like from it! ("Backwards" is my least fave from the series but it's still a goodun!) Though series II is a very close second! biggrin
My fave episode is in series III, "Marooned" - comedy gold!!

I liked the first season best. It was new and funny. ^ ^ It really showed how over the top Rimmer, Lister, Holly, and the Cat were too. heart

Series 1 has got to be the best, i just like how the whole thing started. As has been said before, the last few series lost the whole cheesiness and intimacy of the previous ones, and even the camera resolution was changed, makes it feel colder, less pesonal i think.

Thats hard.
I'm not such a big fan of Series 7 and 8. I think they ruined it a bit by bringing Kochanski back as a main character.
The rest are absolutly flawless.
