This was far to interesting for its own good! There were some skills that he taught because they were going to be useful in life such as flying. There were other skills he taught due to his own curiosity and desire to see the skill used such as when he and Nibal had climbed up the side of the building to mess with Peri. Today was the latter of the two... The child Teeu had a rather interesting skill that had to do with the ability to crush even bone! Or at least the animal the child's DNA came from was able to do that. He had a variety of foods laid out on the table just waiting to be crushed. Everything from simple things like tough bread, to coconut, up to a bone which would be the last thing for Teeu to make a biting attempt at as he didn't want to risk the child's teeth...
He plopped down on his chair and went to flipping through the chart he had, making a couple notes on it, then leaned back in his seat waiting for his student to arrive.

"Teeu, NO! I said STOP IT, young man!"
The voice having risen from a stern reprimand to a yell in a matter of seconds, turned into a shriek. A scuffling came from outside of Orpheus' room, the sound of a hiss, the snapping of jaws, and then, finally, a body hitting the door. A turn of a knob later, and a blur of blond, black, and brown burst into the class room.
"TEEU, I MEAN IT!" The blond thing managed to grab hold of the rampaging child, twisting her arms around Teeu's heaving chest. She was short, curvy, simply a dainty thing all together. The claw-torn dress and flushed face simply showed her frustration. Golden bun askew, she eyed Orpheus warily. "You the teacher?"
"LemmeGO!" The mohawked creature flailed against his adoptive mother, brought to a harsh stop when she tightened her arms, pinning his own to his sides. Teeu gave what sounded like a harsh burst of laughter, his eyes narrowed in tight anger. "Stoppitstoppit!"

Orpheus pushed up to his feet as he heard a loud commotion in the hallway, he took a half step forward when someone came bursting into the room. He didn't get to far inside though as someone caught hold of him and seemed to be fighting to keep the kid in her control, "Ahh... yes, I am Orpheus Solon." He said, introducing himself, eyes on the boy she was holding onto, "Ahh... is this Teeu?"
Not what he'd been expecting but couldn't help but smile, "Are you wanting to leave him here with me? Or will you be staying with us while we learn?" He asked, wondering if the woman were going to jump on a chance for a break or if she would want to keep an eye on things.

Dagger hauled the child closer, squeezing him tight to her chest. Teeu growled, yipped loudly in a high, nasal tone, but fell otherwise limp. He glared up at Orpheus through a scowl, small bands balled into fists.
"Pleasure to meet you," Daggers voice left in a huff, her button nose wrinkled. "I'm Dagger and, yes, this is Teeu. He's not violent with boys, exactly, so don't worry. I won't be staying. I have a new baby at home I need to get back to."
"Lemme go!"
The pointy-eared woman slowly let the boy go. He didn't bolt as one may have assumed, and even allowed her to turn him to face her. Dagger gave the child a brief, firm shake.
"Teeu. Do not hit, bite, or otherwise hurt this man or anyone else who may come in here. If you do, I swear to the gods I will bite your ear off," Another shake. "Do you understand, pup?"
Teeu deepened his scowl, eyes nearly slits. Slowly, finally, he nodded. Tail lowered in submission, he broke their gaze to look down at the ground, then, finally, to Orpheus.
"Yes," a grumble. Teeu had an odd voice for a child, slightly annoying in it's nasal tone, grumpy and soft. "I won't."
"Good boy," Dagger released him and released him, gave his hair a fond ruffle. She looked to Orpheus. "He should be fine. And don't report me for 'child abuse'. He bit his first babysitters hand to the bone. I told him to lay off the second and he did. Teeu - go do your schoolwork."
A little push and the child padded towards the teacher, his shoulders hunched in masked fury. It was a weak mask.

Orpheus lifted and eyebrow before he lowered his pen to the paper and took a note on the hyena's ability already showing itself when he'd bitten into his babysitter, "Its quite alright, I know some kids can be a handful." He had a few at home so he knew how it could be.
He looked down at the kid as he was pushed forward to join him and he gave him a smile, "Its alright Teeu, we won't be doing anything to strenuous today. Those sorts of classes are saved for when your a little older. I hope we can have fun with what we are going to do today in fact." Maybe something that could be see as fun would perk the little one up?

Teeu eyed the teacher in his distrust, lower jaw thrust out tight. Dagger heaved a sigh, gave her son a push to the shoulder, and shook her head.
"Look, here's my phone number," She thrust out a scrap of paper to Orpheus, "I need to get Emi to dance class and relieve Rakhazbun of baby-duty. If something goes wrong, call me once you get out of the clinic."
The moment the teacher had the paper, the blonde spun about and literally flounced from the room. Teeu rolled his shoulder, lips peeling back not quite far enough to see teeth.
"Fun?" he asked after a long moment, crossing his arms roughly. "How?"

Orpheus reached out to take the number and did his best not to laugh, this class was showing high odds of him getting himself hurt which was in a way amusing. It should be a rather simple class, one would think dealing with older kids or those learning more dangerous skills would be more likely to do that and so far he'd not be injured to terribly bad.
He watched the woman as she left to get to the other children that needed her and his gaze dropped to the hyena child that was showing off his teeth, arms crossed, "Well we have a variety of things over here on this table and your job is basically to test out of your strength against them." He explained, stepping to the side so that Teeu could see.
"Hyena's have a powerful bite, one that can crush even bone. Though I guess you already know your pretty good at biting from the sounds of what happened with your babysitter. Basically D-Corp wants to know how well you do in comparison to your DNA type."

"She touched me," The child sounded almost scandalized and most certainly angry over this persons attempted contact with him. Orpheus' flattery didn't get him a glare - improvement! "Can't crunch bone."
He'd tried, damnit. Teeu approached the array of items set out for him, strong shoulders hunched over, tail erect with his ears still back. On guard, the little critter, but at least curious.
Teeu plucked the hard bread from the table. It smelled of food. One eyebrow went up, lips curled into a frown.
"Bread?"

Orpheus filed that information away for later, that touching the hyena child could result in him getting a bite. He would be sure not to do that without reason or permission, "Bread, I figured starting at the far end of the spectrum and working to the harder things." He explained, "Most of what is here would be stuff you might enjoy biting into since a lot of it is various food products."
The red head sat down in one of the chairs, "I had one student who was able to break into clam shells with his teeth but... I don't think he had quite the potential you do given the difference in DNA." The man lifted a hand to adjust his glasses, "Any time your ready."

Bread. Teeu continued to stare at it with no small amount of contempt and, finally, relaxed. It was just bread. Dagger may not like him but he didn't think that she'd shove him at some dude that would poison the old, hard bread. He'd bitten through skin before.
So he peeled back his lips and chomped through the crispy crust and through to the center as if he were biting into a particularily warm marshmellow. Teeu chewed cheerfully at the bread, swallowing the mouthful before he dumped the rest of the loaf onto the table.
"What was he?" Teeu licked his lips, then his fingers. Food! "And could he break into or break them?"
Difference! There was one.

Orpheus watched as Teeu easily broke into the bread with his strong teeth and gave a chuckle, maybe that one had been to easy but it was always good to have one super simple thing for to start out with. After all it was an ego boost for the kid to have at least one thing they could easily defeat.
"Fleur is an Eastern Spotted Skunk." He said, then seemed to think about it for a moment, "I think it was closer to him being able to break into them then to actually break them, so your jaws are likely much stronger then his."
