н ι ѕ т σ я у : Aegis was born in a remote part of the continent of Galbadia, in a small house on a farm. His father was a very adept mage, and taught Aegis everything he knew. His mother was a teacher at a nearby school for scholars.
One day, the Galbadian army was having a routine combing of the countryside. They spotted Aegis' home, and interrogated his parents on the whereabouts of something unknown to the boy. His parents, knowing nothing, were run through with the soldier's gunblades. Aegis was left to wander alone.
Coming across a remote Garden, he was found by a teacher there, who took him in and cared for him. When Aegis turned 18, he was finally allowed to become a student there. A year has passed, and he is finally an official Cadet.
