Ok, well while talking to Lan about the guild he mention something about powerful entities and I was like "Why not just use Titans?" So then a storyline idea hit me.

Either the Brotherhood of Mutants (makes me sense to me) or the Anti-Mutant League are trying, and succeeded in, reawakening the Titans of Old. However the Titans have gone on a rampage, neither group realized how powerful and uncontrollable they were. Now all must strive to defeat the Titans.

The Titans are about 9 - 10 feet tall in their true form and built like a beast. However they also have a human form. They each also have their own element. There will be Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Dark, Light, and Physic. The power of lava comes with the Fire Titan and the power of ice comes with the Water Titan. You can come up with more if need be. When a Titan is defeated one of two things happens depending on the circumstances: If one person alone defeated them, all of the godly power sealed within the Titan goes to that person along with the element the Titan controlled; if two or more people defeat the Titan all get slight control of the element and the godly power is divided among the ones who defeated him.

The leaders of the three factions, Haki, Myself, (insert name of leader of Anti-Mutant League here)'s, characters are only allowed to defeat one. However if we have multiple characters then they are treated just like everyone else. You can defeat as many as you want as long as you aren't a leader.

Questions, comments, concerns?

What do you mean they keep following you?

The requirement of defeating a titan just doesn't seem right...I mean if we want to get rid of tem then it really doesn't make sense to do so and makes more sense to just throw people at them.

So what ideas are there for new arcs?!
PostPosted: Sun Jan 24, 2010 1:10 pm

I like the base behind this idea, but let's not limit our thinking. Alternatives to Titans:

  • Seven Deadly Sins
  • Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
  • Bijuu (Crossover Warning)
  • Gods (Egyptian, Roman/Greek, Norse, whatevs)
  • Elemental Lords/Manifestations (Whatever you would call them)

*EDIT*

Alternatively, I was mulling the idea of creating an Alucard (Hellsing) character for crossover, and after talking it over with Lanfaer it was decided that he could definitely make a great archvillain for some plot or another. Basically he got the mutant gene for vampirism centuries ago (Vlad the Impaler) and he feels all other mutations are inferior (treats them like he treats freaks in the anime).

... He's also pissed because Van Hellsing defeated him a long time ago. So basically he comes out of nowhere and starts creating problems for everybody (I was thinking attacks on a few of the guild's more active areas as an introduction). Somewhat faithful to the anime/manga, he's all but immortal and invincible, and no one can really touch him at first.

After he's made his debut, we reveal a handful of special weapons that can be used to harm him that the guild members could seek to obtain. After he is defeated by a titanic effort, we move on to some other crisis, and maybe he becomes a servant to the person that had the biggest hand in his defeat.

Lanfaer really likes this idea and wanted me to go ahead with it without checking with any of you, but I figured I'd be nice.

It's okay....I didn't much care for hellsing....Besides if he's not an immortal or invisible that means he could succumb to Seishi's time defeating him easily.

I like the seven deadly sins....

either case, I plan on letting that b*****d go out into the world to stir up trouble. But you are right in that the 7 Deadly Sins is a great idea. Just remember that we don't want to focus on fighting, making life more about developing the characters. That's the point, isn't it? Of this guild?

It sure is dude *fake pep* And we can all get along! *blech* Okay seriously though dude. I don't like crossing Manga's that really don't even set in the same time period. I just hate crossing Manga/ Anime in any way actually. It ruins the beauty of the originals.

Deadly sins don't need to have anything to do with fighting. You just have those powers to fight with or the personality...you could do the opposing side the heavenly Attributes or whatev's as well....besides fighting is damn near unavoidable in Rping. There's no interest then.

I know. I'm saying we don't want to completely center this on fighting, that's all >.>

I used to be with you on that one, but then I realized that crossovers greatly expand the possibilities; and what better setting for crossing-over than X-men? You could adapt almost any kind of anime-based power to a mutant power. People who write mangas and anime tend to be more creative than the rest of us (just throwing that out there), and you can get all kinds of great combinations.
