I do understand that Hawaii is in an economic crisis but does that mean they have to take away the big yellow bus? I mean, it's already hard enough to fiind a job, do they want to make it any more harder?
And what about school? I understand that for most people Fridays off is a good thing, but a three day weekend? I'm beginning to get bored... I think that taking away our education is a bad thing. Especially for the kids in the military. They'll be behind when they move! (like me)
What is up with Hawaii?

Well, from what I understand, Lingle is trying to balance our state's budget by whatever means necessary, even if it means getting rid of things that ARE necessary. She promised to do that as one of her campaign goals or something stupid like that. Apparently she thinks fufilling that promise is worth screwing up the state.
I hope she realizes not to run for office here again next year, because there's no way people will vote for her. :
I know for a fact my parents are upset because my dad's hours got cut. = (
I'm just lucky I got to a private school, so I don't get Fridays off... although, my school is actually going to try increasing our school hours by about 4+ hours or so every week next quarter to see if it helps students score higher. o-O But I guess overall I'd rather have more school than less school...
